We have been customers of Ransomes since the late 80s when they were DR Blinds.
Our house is full of their blinds and they have always been great.
Today Mark who does repairs came to do a repair to the top rail on our bathroom blinds where the end cover had disintegrated after many years. We were really pleased the he could do a repair for a reasonable price. I have bought the weights and the replacement chains to repair myself over the years but this job was more complicated. Very pleased with this family company and their reliability over the years.

The owner of the company, based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, came to give an estimate for shutters in our conservatory. He arrived on time and brought very helpful samples of the shutters we want. The conservatory is half a dodecagon at one end and so features 5 angled walls and one whole side of windows and double doors. This was one of four estimates we received and by far the most carefully measured, well thought out plan. He made us aware of several potential problems that more sales-orientated salesmen simply overlook or don't notice and his sales terms were far more realistic than the well-known online brand (who demanded up front payment even before installation!). I feel very confident about his ability to install the product and his overall professionalism.
