I'm with Rated People for more then 9 years now..
But on the past year everything changed
So expensive the leads jobs, lots fake accounts, and not JOB'S how it used to be before,
Used received between 4- 5 JOB'S a day .. now you getting lucky if you received at least 1 a week
Really disappointed, I've lowered my membership lower as I can and then planning to cancel
Sorry for this ,but I've waited thinking that this will get better ,in fact is worse

One star is actually too much. Still in the process of trying to cancel my tradesman membership. They are quick enough to phone you to set up membership. I have been trying to get someone to contact me for weeks now and now they have taken another months subscription. Absolute scam. There is sometimes no leads at all in my area (Edinburgh and surrounding areas). All other leads have already had the work done or you don’t even get a reply.

I try to contact the client ,they don't answer ,I send email ,I ring them I text ,not answer not very happy .

Three very competent and professional tradesmen contacted me promptly and quoted timeously.

Signed up to their 'Unlimited' subscription as a tradesperson, supposedly giving me unlimited leads for the month, but they continue to charge me for every lead. There's no way to contact them, when you finally find a phone number to call, it's one and the same person (Liam) answering all the time and saying there's nothing he can do, as he's from their sales team only, super rude as well. They promise that the customer service team will call you back, but never do. Then they mark your phone number and stop picking up, but if you call from another phone pick up right away thinking it's a new customer they'll be able to scam.
I've contacted financial ombudsman to report them, as it must be a scam company. Will take them to small claim courts if they don't give my £260 back asap.

Ive been with rated people as a tradesmen for roughly 4-5 years and I've used others such as "Mybuilder" & "Myjobquote"

At the start they were absolutely top, their membership fee wasn't mentally expensive, you got regular emails for jobs at least anywhere from 5-10 a day, any problems and you could just speak to someone via live chat to sort it.

As of now, they doubled the cost of their membership fee, I actually told them no im not paying it and they just went okay and let me pay the old price???

They have obviously sacked most of their actual staff and spent that money on a pretty bad AI chatbot that doesnt really work, it just directs you to the website FAQ sections, it raises tickets but I dont think it does half the time.
I wrote a ticket because I wasn't getting notifications via the website or app and it took them 2 months to get back to me.

Also the work has dried up, which is normal in a bad economy but in comparison to the other sites I use, ratedpeople has become the weakest as I get maybe 1 job posted a day, meanwhile I get 5-10 roughly with the others

Ratedpeople said that you can refund 20% of your membership between every 3 months, if someone doesnt call you back you can earn some money back.

Unfortunately this feature is now broken and ive again raised a ticket about 2 months ago and noone has gotten back to me

Other competitors have this feature and dont even bother about the 20% rule

I am cancelling my account which is so funny because I had to tell the chatbot and he said he will raise a ticket and I really thought ill have to tell my bank to hold funds because I won't hear from them for ages

But no, I got a response a day later saying basically

"Aw no please dont leave, ill cancel the account for you (because they have to)
Whats wrong with us, please tell me"

Honestly such a fall from grace as a company, whoever made the decisions to remake the website, increase prices and sack their staff should have been gone a long long time ago

Very few responses but that could be forgiven. There could be reasons why this happened. But the responses I did get were poor with one company promising then failing to attend on multiple occasions leaving my family wasting those days waiting for them. If this is the best you have then no more.

Ltr waste did an excellent job removed all the waste and old shed I would definitely recommend them

The site helped me to get the tradesman that I needed urgently.

This is a joke offers free month with nothing included in plan I will be cancelling up guy phoning

We had Johnny to repaint/stain our hardwood exterior woodwork which was quite a considerable job.
His preparation work was amazing which has resulted in a fantastic finish to all areas.
Johnny was hardworking, clean & tidy and a pleasure to have in our home. We are are delighted with the finished job and will definitely be using him again in the future and are happy to recommend to others.

No one contacted me. Not one person and I reposted the job out there 3 times.
Really annoying.
Always 'more information required' when ive put all I can think of.
Probably too late for what I wanted now.

Plug sockets not working in Kitchen Bradley came earlier than estimated time. Checked all plug sockets and circuit breaker all working now. Excellent job would use him again and would recommend if you need an electrician

Been on and off woth rated people but recently work they have done has completly ruined the app.

Cant contact a rated people representative.

Settings sends you to Q&A only cannot resolve any issues there or contact anyone. Not even a form.

Cant cancel.

Cant contact anyone.

Not even AI bot that works.

Generates hardly any leads all - same leads showong for weeks. The ROI is dead here.

The absolute worst right next to Bark.

0 leads looks on weeks - i use all the trade platforms and these and Bark are a total waste of time.

They are consistently underperforming.

First impression Hugh was brilliant took out my hedge and put in a new fence good clean job and easily paid recommend to anyone who needs this kind of work done ✅👍

I used Rated People to find an electrician. The process to post my job was very easy and within 24 hours an electrician responded. We discussed the job in more detail and he offered advice and a price. He came to do the job the next day and has done an excellent safe and neat job. I recommend Rated People and will use them again.

Good evening everyone, I would like to tell you about my experience with these greedy idiots who can't get enough of money . I downloaded the app, registered correctly, they called me and I made the deposit of 300 pounds sterling and they already told me to wait a bit and that they would send me everything I needed to enter the app shortly, they never sent it again, I called the bank, I reported it as fraud, the bank returned my money, the second month they took 300 pounds again, the same thing, I called the bank and reported the fraud, they returned my money again, after that the bank took another £300 when I contacted them they said that we worked for them and it was not possible for them to give it to me at some point after two months I found these scammers I deleted my account everything was fine except that at some point the bank took another £300 to give to these scammers and that's how I was left without £600

Legalized robberies are a disgrace to UK commerce! Report them all! 1/5 stars.

Adi did a great job fitting our kitchen door. He was also very responsive and did the job very quickly. Highly recommended.
