I was first recommended to Rayne in 2024 by a campervan conversation company that I called asking about purchasing electrics. Their advice was: ‘Look you could do all of this yourself, so could we, but we just use Rayne Automotive - it’s so much simpler. Rayne will ask you exactly what you electrics and devices you are planning for your campervan and create a spec. Then they’ll provide you with a fully completed setup with everything ready to go on boards, solar, plug sockets, fuse board, leisure batteries, all the correct wiring lengths, all the end points for heating, fridge etc., ends stripped and cap off properly, whatever you want, and it basically won’t really cost you anything more than if you bought everything separately.’ So I approached Rayne and James the owner was my first point of contact. Over the course of planning, to supply and then also support when I later wanted to make various changes to my solar and battery position etc., James and the team bent over backwards to ensure that I had exactly what I needed.

I am sitting in my camper today two years later, thinking about how amazing that since I installed my electrics I have ZERO issues and it has all just worked without me having to think about it ever and I thought this deserves a shoutout to Rayne. Great small companies like this are hard to come by these days.

So there’s my review… I imagine if more people knew about Rayne they would be inundated! Very happy customer and highly recommended.

We first discovered Rayne automotive in 2020 when the built our electric system for our T6.

The concept, service and quality is nothing short of fantastic.

Not only is the product fantastic, they talked me through anything I was unsure with and guided a novice like me to successfully installing the system.

Fast forward to 2025 and unfortunately one of our units faulted (not due to a rayne automotive issue).
However, I contacted rayne automotive whilst in Cornwall on holiday and the gave me a full procedure to undertake to help pin point the issue.
After discovering the faulty unit I sent it back for tests at rayne automotive. At this stage they did everything for free!
Unfortunately I had to replace the unit. Rayne delivered me a brand new unit at a discounted cost.

On both occasions i have been so impressed by the customer service and the time they have given me. Far more attention to one customer than I would have ever imagined.

Rayne Automotive what can you say absolutely superb to deal with, gave them a call prior to placing an order just to make sure I was getting the right gear, spoke with James his help and understanding of what I needed was superb placed the order & it arrived next day all very well packed, I’ve since fitted the solar and it has really boosted the power to the van I’ve already recommended Rayne Automotive to a fellow camper enthusiast.

Prior to ordering, I needed some very accurate measurements taken to ensure that the product would fit. The service I received from James was exemplary and having confirmed suitability, the ordering (item not in stock, which I knew) and delivery were all very efficient with really superb communication. Brilliant service from start to finish. Had a phonecall to chat about what I wanted from my electric system, everything was delivered in a package with wiring diagrams, and after-sales support has been second to none. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with Rayne Automotive all from the start of making an appointment then they phone on time. James was very polite and listened then went through three options I could have. Then I was sent me email with the diagram and a price.

I learnt about them from a you tube post from a firm that deals with them and James was giving advice on the parts necessary to install solar panels on a motor home. I logged onto their website and created a telephone consultation. It was all very easy and efficient. I spoke to James regarding my requirements and he advised me on what I should be looking at in terms of power and components to achieve what I wanted. The whole service was excellent from start to finish.

I was very impressed with Rayne Automotive's service when I converted my first van in 2020, so I did not hesitate to seek their advice, and bought my second van conversion kit from them this year. Once again Rayne Automotive provided a first class service. They are an excellent company to deal with, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The kit supplied is excellent quality with very good instructions. Highly recommended.

Rayne Automotive went the extra mile to sort out my electrical wiring on my van conversion as it's not my speciality to say the least.
James was knowledgeable and patient with me and made the process painless for me.

Very helpful pre-purchase advice on multiple occasions. Good pricing and goods delivered promptly and well packed. A good company to do business with.

Just fitted my Electrical Mains 240V 2-Way Hook Up Kit into my Boxer and was impressed with the full package, fast delivery, decent parts and instructions. All tested and checked and all good.

Thought it was a bit expensive until I realised my split charger came fully assembled. Saved me a days work. Deliver was good as was customer service
