Avoid at all costs 1* is too good

I unfortunately had dealings with this company for 12yrs. I had to renew the lease and pay for a parking space before I could sell the flat. They fleeced over 40k from me. In the past I have literally been in tears on the phone as their attitude is just appalling and they are so rude. I am a middle aged woman and have dealt with many people over the years, being a nurse, and I have never ever had such rude and bad service. The Only time they are nice is if you are giving them money. There is no Obusman either to help. I actually feel like I have been robbed. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with them, I feel for you.

Disgraceful profiteering bullies

Disgraceful, profiteering bullies. Threatening, sarcastic, nasty, belittling staff who treated property owners like squatters. Constant stream of work in the thousands for other properties in the building that left me in debt and added no value to my property. If you see a property managed by them, stay away. Made my life a living nightmare.

Avoid of this company

Avoid of this company, they are very rude, one star is even too much for them, they offer a very poor service and very expensive, pay 235 pounds x 4flats every three months, and the only service received is cutting grass ones every three months usually when the payment is due. Asking money for every extra job, ridiculous pay and get ignored all the time for problems on the property, the property looks abandoned, with some maintenance to do it.

recommended

As a tenant, I can heartily recommend them. They bug bad landlords into carrying out much needed maintenance and support their tenants wholeheartedly. The staff are just lovely! Very supportive and full of good advice. Landlords can be assured that their tenants will get the support they need and consequently will stay as long as they can in a property managed by Rayners.

Very poor service

Very poor service - they do not want to know and are not helpful. I live in a leasehold property that backs on to some garages. The walls of these garages form the boundary line of our garden. We do not own one of these garages. The garages have been left to go in a state of disrepair and Rayner's will not help us.
Would not recommend this company at all and even one star is too much.

Rayners profiteering from contract work for tenants.

On top of Rayners Property Management Department £6000+ a year fees for managing our flats, they now want to surcharge us 8.5% for window improvement work, despite the cost. Profiteering is a word that springs to mind. Surely a fixed charge is more ethical and appropriate, not one based on the cost of the job..... oh and a charge that reflects the work they will actually do, and the risk they actually take... signing off on a job underwritten by someone elses insurance???
Conveniently Rayners Property Management do not have their own reviews page, or a Facebook page. So this is here.
