This is totally unacceptable! I was ' given ' an offer ' of £351 asked to send in the phone, which was an immaculate IPHONE 14 PRO MAX. Then went through the process to be told that there were so much wrong with the phone. Total rubbish appraisal because the phone was in a apple phone cover and a professionally fitted screen cover. They claimed there were many scratches....I have asked them to return my phone. This is an absolute cheat and a horrible way to do business!!!

I sent my phone based on the value, they then sent a reduced offer which was £100 less that the website - I negotiated and agreed - payment was to be made in 7 working days but now 14 days later have not been paid - apparently a back log !

I sent my phone to RecycleUrPhone on the 14th of November. They received and signed for it the next day, and on the 18th I got an email confirming it was being processed. That was the last piece of communication I ever received from them.

After that? Nothing. No updates, no explanation, no courtesy email, just complete silence.

Then the phone suddenly turned up back at my door with absolutely no warning whatsoever. To make the situation worse, they didn’t even bother with a signed-for delivery. The parcel was left outside, in heavy rain, and the phone is now completely unusable. All because the company couldn’t be bothered to spend a little extra to ensure it arrived safely.

The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. Their communication is practically non-existent, their customer service is terrible, and the phone number they provide doesn’t even work. Very convenient for them, I’m sure.

For comparison, I’ve used UberLink and MazumaMobile before and both were excellent. RecycleUrPhone doesn’t even come close.

I’d strongly recommend avoiding this company. Spare yourself the hassle and choose one that actually communicates and cares about its customers.

I sent my phone via recorded delivery which arrived on the 15.11.25 and signed by someone named Faizel. I have heard nothing since. I sent an email yesterday afternoon to obtain an update, where the website states all emails are replied to within 24hrs. Nothing.. I have tried calling the contact number sent in the email 0208 548 8292 and the number doesn't exist. I'm starting to think I've been scammed here.

Update as of 4.12.2025.
I was sent the phone back with no explanation. No phone call, no email, nothing.
I have paid money for postage of which I have not been reimbursed.

Charlatans.

Although initial communication wasn’t great, we got there in the end. The offer was reduced but was still in line with other companies and payment made.

Traded in my wifes Samsung S21 128 gb in good condition and was given a very good price. Thank UR phones.

Honestly they are the best company. The amount of time I’ve sold something and got paid for it. The customer service is great! I’m a repeat customer.

The whole process is very straightforward, you get prepaid envelope with a tracking number to post your phone and then just wait for an email with the information. Communication is very good with fast replies. Money on the account same day as the payment confirmation email. Recommend their services.

RecycleURPhone offered the best price to buy a phone I had lying in a drawer doing nothing, and all for a good cause. Posted off to them and money now in my bank, only took three days from posting to being paid. Recommended!

Fast and free postage. Although they reduced the price they paid me for the iPad after receiving it, it was still the highest price offered on the market. Really pleased to be recycling it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY sent my phone in pristine condition no faults what so ever they had offered 295 then when they received it was saying it was flickering etc it definitely wasn't its a scam to knock the price down I did finally end up with 265 after several emails,just shows not to go with the highest offer from competitors because you won't get what they tell you 😉

Fair price offered. Good communication throughout. Special delivery bag to forward phone unfortunately did not arrive within the 14 day reply period, however after an email, RecycleUrPhone.co.uk took Christmas/New Year period into account and honoured their original offer, which was better than any other company.
