Bad business practices, wastes time
I had a very frustrating experience with this auction site (also operating as TAGeX Brands). I won an auction for 9 cases of wine glasses after the closing time kept getting extended multiple times. My card was charged immediately when I won, but the earliest pickup time they offered was a full week later based on the seller’s availability.
I rearranged my work schedule and drove over an hour to the pickup location, only to receive a call less than 24 hours before my appointment saying the seller no longer had the items and that a refund would be processed (which I am still waiting on).
It feels like the auction win meant nothing, and the lack of reliability and communication wasted a lot of my time. An auction should be final when you win and pay, not cancelled days later. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about using this site.
