We have been with them for many years, wasting $thousands in subscription fees. Had lots of social media sync problems over the last year, (if you can't sync social media then this is pointless), they use to answer support emails but no longer do. They DO NOT Care about their customers at all, ZERO support. The whole platform is just set up to cash in on artists ego, it does you no good at all. Cancelling our subscription & leaving the platform after 8 years. Enough is Enough.
Reverberation is a SCAM!! Somebody set up an account using my bank account number and $270 was stolen from my account!!! You can not get anyone to respond back via email or by phone. And I want to know WHO has stolen my account number. Speaking to anyone is a challenge!!! And I’m not happy that they let people set up accounts with no proof of authorization!!
I have recently put in numerous requests to have songs removed and they mistakely removed 1 song i made a mistake to be removed, figured out the songs i needed to be removed and requested them multiple times and also apologized twice for my mistake as it was a genuine mistake due being frustrated to the fact my personal online identity is tied to this person still as this person has caused many hardships in my life and i got away from them. Now asking for help to get these 2 songs removed only to keep getting my tickets closed with no valid reason. Im pretty frustrated with your company. If you need screen shots for proof please I will provide my inventory...
I dont pay anything to ReverbNation..I just use their free template to upload a song to facebook.Lets face it if youre a rock or metal muso with all the rubbish the plebs listen to these days youre not going to get much of a fan base. This isnt Reverbnations fault..just a sign of the times. If you want to sell records these days 1.Be good looking 2.Hardly wear any clothes on stage.3.Pretend youre cool when you really are not.4.Use heaps of auto tune5.Wear your cap back to front
After being a customer of their digital distrubution for over 7 years, they have just taken down every song I've ever uploaded, as well as my musician profile from every streaming platform. My account has been locked, with no explanation, no headsup. I've contacted their support and fraud prevention teams multiple times, with not a single response. This morning I saw that they had "solved" my tickets, still without an answer. My music AND the royalties I had earned have been taken hostage by this company and they are now ignoring me. Stay away from them.
All was okay until i receive fake claim of copyright, despite all proof that its wrong - my account is locked and no answer from support
I've been trying to get money from ReverbNation for 15 years . A friend of mine that I haven't heard from him in many years found me on there and just bought some of my songs, it still listed a zero balance . I used to see a balance years ago and could never get them to send it to me I've been emailing them and they email me back twice and said we hope everything is fine now which they did absolutely nothing I've tried to email them since then and they will not return my email, I explained to them I haven't got any money from them total in
15 years or more. If anybody knows something I don't, like trying to get a hold of somebody with an actual email address or phone number where they will respond I would appreciate it, Dana Risk. I closed the account down this past year and they still have my songs for sale on there.
I purchased fan reach pro and though my payment went through the actual service didn't it never added any of my new contacts. I reached out over 7 times and never recived and email back. i contacted the via email their help site and through the website. noone reached out. even after my plae explaining it was causing my press release to be delayed. Not having any other option i waited 3 more additional days and my press release was a mess it did not send to all of my email contacts! and to top it off a few people unsubscribed which is fine but it didnt even make room for the new subscribers!. they have a seious glitch were it constantly says you only have 499 subscribers when the limit is 500 but fan reach pro you can have more they only sent it to 499 it then continues to tell me to buy a fan reach pro subscribtion which was already purchased weeks ago!
Stay away from this scam & fraud site at all costs. I have filed a complaint against them with the Attorney's General Office of California. I was never notified of being billed $12.95 for 12 months adding up to $155. Their service was never used and I only signed up for a trial that never benefited me in any way. I have disputed all 12 fraudulent charges that were debited without my consent and they have an ongoing investigation with the AG’s office. We need to get this site shut down permanently. I have documentation of all dates, times, policies, IP login details, and proof showing that I never agreed to such charges.

I am writing to share my sincere appreciation for my experience with ReverbNation. After many happy years as a customer, I can confidently say that you are one of the best distributors on the market.
What truly sets you apart is the human element; your customer service is consistently fair, helpful, and incredibly responsive. It is rare to find a platform that shows such genuine respect for their long-term, loyal customers, and I truly value that relationship.
If there is one area where I would love to see growth, it would be the distribution reach. Currently, the lack of availability on specific dance platforms and specialized electronic music stores is the only hurdle I encounter. Expanding into those niches would truly complete the service.
That small point aside, thank you, ReverbNation, for being a cornerstone of our career for all these years. We look forward for many many more.
With gratitude, DjVani & Vani Music

Bad experience overall. Bad customer service.
I initially saw the bad reviews but I said to myself how bad can this be? Until I tested on my own. I got a pretty average-high score, and overall good feedback. But this is not the point. What is important, does the feedback come from trusted sources or from random people? Are they instructed to offer feedback in a respectful way? Is their feedback even relevant, since they are not even in your target group?
It was clear to me that people who are providing the reviews have no guidelines for offering constructive or specialized feedback, so the feedback results in being very mixed and lacking in real insights, or even rude! And the cherry on the top was some trolling that I received and ReverbNation couldn't be bothered with this.
In conclusion, it's better to ask family and friends, or even better go with your instinct, instead of using a service that does not take any responsibility for what their crowd is saying.

ReverbNation opportunities might be good for some artists, but as an electronic music artist, I have not seen any benefits at all. All the artists who got selected for different placements represented different genres. Mostly rap, hip-hop, R’n’B, pop, rock, occasionally folk, country. Not a single one doing electronic music. Even EDM doesn’t get selected. Maybe curators think that electronic music isn’t relevant anymore these days, or they try to impose their personal music preferences on their audience. Either way ReverbNation is a waste of time for electronic music artists. You won’t find fans there and will get followed by other artists of different genres adding you for numbers and having no interest in what you do

I cancelled my subscription with reverbnation over 2 months ago and they are still trying to take money from my account. The number to call customer service is bogus, and the email address isnt worth writing to because I asked them to stop trying to take my money and give me a refund but that didn't work, so I just don't keep any funds on the card they have in file and maybe one day they will just stop trying.

SCAM ALERT!
I wish I'd read these reviews before I got involved with this mess. Subscription services that I purchased through these scammers have no link for me to unsubscribe and meanwhile the billing continues. They have a video that shows you how to pull up a settings page where all this stuff is supposed to be and what is shown in the video is not what's on my page. There is no record of my subscription services anywhere on my account page and therefore no unsubscribe link. BIG WARNING DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Every opportunity they've ever offered has been fake every opportunity that I've actually seen has not answered me and has always said we're looking for someone else it seems like the only ones that ever get anything on this are the ones who pay out of their a** just to get it so it's a pay to win kind of thing which doesn't help an artist who's starving I would strongly suggest you avoid this place at all costs I was number 1 supposedly across the site but when I stop paying I they blocked all my good tracks and of course I lost 1st so again pay to play they are the new Crazy Eddie.

Reverbnation is a scam. Any time someone offers you a money making opportunity in the form of a contest but you have to pay an entry fee… well, that’s like paying a job resource web site a fee before applying for a job.
It would also be like a record label saying; “We’re thinking about signing you. Send in your demo and $35 and we’ll see”… That never happens. Trust me on this, no legitimate production company would EVER ask you for money when sending in your demo.
Here’s the other thing about Feedbacknation (see what I did there? LOL)… There are no fans who go there to listen. Maybe a fraction of its subscribers are fans, like 2%. And when someone becomes a fan of yours, they themselves are hopeful musicians and they expect you to become a fan of them. It’s all just musical community inbreeding.
My suggestion is to stay away from Reverbnation. Record your music, get a distributor to spread it on all the music professional platforms like apple and Spotify etc… and promote yourself on instagram and other social media. Spend your money where fans actually are present and you might get discovered by a label or promoter.
No matter how Reverbnation spins it (including their reply to my review), they are simply a money grabbing scam.
Remember this; If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. Don’t pay money for a contest that Reverbnation says could get your song in a movie or commercial or etc. Production companies and LEGIT concert promoters NEVER EVER do contests where you have to pay for an entry fee in order to get chosen to play. They do free auditions perhaps, but no money is exchanged.
Be loyal to yourself. Keep learning. Keep exploring. Keep on rocking in the free world, not the fee world. Stay clear of Rescamnation.

Biggest rip off since gas prices, i authorized a 1 time payment of $35 for advertisement and the results are like making love to a toilet seat, not to mention the recurring charge that keeps going on even after i checked the 1x payment option, and the fact paypal does not answer the phone for anyone needing to speak to a human so you can attempt to have the situation resolved. I do not take kindly to being robbed and will be contacting the proper authorities to find out what can be done about this abusive, shady, sorry excuse of a company whom operates on a healthy dose of daily open fraud. ReverbNation, After Your reply i have more to add. changing the contract does not change that the check box was there before and, i sent numerous emails asking why i was being charged when i thought you had done the respectful thing and trusted you made a mistake i found that you just didn't give a dam so please take your narcissist attitude and shove it with your misleading contract where the sun doesn't shine wile you refund my money .

I have never purchased any service from them.
I have been installed their app BandLab and that probably give them an access to my details - the transaction is 100% fraudulent but the PayPal has closed the case without any explanation!!! They set up the reoccurring payment for £9.xx without even sending me any email!!! That's is a criminal activity! I will speak to the Google to remove the fraudulent app from Play Store. How it is even possible to get a money without any confirmation - this kind of the activity should be illegal! The law needs to be changed as I can see from lecture of the TrustPilot reviews they doing it for years! So many people have been scammed by those robbers! It has to be stopped somehow - Only thing they offer is a shoot of the adrenaline - I am especially angry because they wasn't even offer me any proof of the transaction. It is not good for the online business needs to be STOPPED ASAP!
What a surprise! They refunded all money within 60 minutes 💵. I have no idea if TrustPilot review has helped or harsh criticism on the PayPal, but it gives me a hope that internet based transaction and online business still can survive and it is still possible to use the internet the and not being completely scammed.

In fairness, the features are useful, and I have been using the free package just to create a space where i can keep a log of all my original music for my followers / and my self to access/ stream.
What I HATE about it is that they always fish for upgrade fees by dangling "opportunities" in front of your nose. Once you enter for an opportunity you then get told you need to upgrade (like $13 pcm)....
an obvious ploy. If the upgrade was not so much money, I would go for it, like say $5 pcm instead...I mean i can sign up on other services for similar opps for about that...and it is probably just as good/bad.
Also the digital distro costs are very very high. Like to put a single out through RN, to most major DL platforms is 9.95 per year per track...compared to say Distrokid's one-time 50 year fee of about the same! So Distrokid is like 50 x less!
Still, I use RN just to keep a portfolio of work. I do like the media player and interface, but that is about it really.
I think I will likely continue to use it as a way of documenting my work, seeing as i am independent and not "famous" or mainstream in any way. No harm done I guess.
My RN page is Danny M Stewart / Innobassion here in case anyone wants to see how I use it.
