I utilized their services for my initial property acquisition. The process was seamless, and I successfully obtained the keys to my new residence on my preferred date. My initial contact with them was in the first week of August 2025, leading to extensive email and phone correspondence with RG Law over nearly three months. I interacted with various team members, all of whom provided excellent support. I would like to specifically acknowledge Suwati, who was an outstanding and knowledgeable colleague. She expertly guided me through the entire process, particularly after some staff transitions within RG Law.

I acknowledge the customer feedback regarding communication challenges, and regrettably, I can confirm experiencing similar issues. However, despite these challenges, they consistently met all deadlines. I have also noted concerns in other reviews regarding the land registry certificate, and I am interested to observe their handling of this matter.

I confidently recommend RG Law for first-time property buyers.

RG Law were great throughout the purchase of our new build property. There was a slight error with our final completion statement close to the completion date, which is the only reason we’ve given 4 stars. However, the mistake was rectified quickly and we received a refund on the same day for overpaid funds. Despite this small administrative error I would use RG Law again.

We used RG Law to purchase our property in December 2023. They were great when we first purchased the property but little did we know that 2 years later when we came to re-mortgage the house their negligence caused us serious headache. RG Law did not apply for our Land Registry change until December 2024, 1 year after we completed. This only came to light when we came to re-mortgage after 2 years in the house.

We received abysmal service from the Post Completion Team. I called multiple times across the span of 4 weeks & it wasn't until I made a serious complaint that anyone acknowledged me. The Management Team refuse to call you & do not acknowledge their negligence. I didn't receive a single apology from the Post Completion Management Team, despite the company's quite evident mistake. Despite the urgency of the situation due to our impending Mortgage offer ending the Post Completion Team showed no care, help nor did what they said they would do. We were not able to complete on our Re-Mortgage until the Land Registry application was complete, & it created a huge amount of unneccessary stress & hassle chasing people last minute.

One of the main frustrations with this company is the lack of accountability and honesty. They insinuated that the delays were with Land Registry until I contacted Land Registry myself & found out the application was submitted 12 months after our completion date. Everytime I'd call to checkup on the progress with RG Law I'd get told everything was in progress & I would then contact Land Registry to find out yet again that it was RG Law that they were waiting on to send documents. The documents were requested in July 2025 & they were only sent at the end of November 2025 due to me having to make multiple phone calls & complaints to RG Law. Each time I'd been told it was in progress nothing had actually been actioned. If I had not called multiple times & sent multiple emails & complaints would this have been completed this year? I don't think so.

The saving grace and the only accountable & helpful member of staff I encountered was Karen Marsh on the Experience Team. Within 48hours of our complaint to the experience team she called me twice & updated me. No other member of the post Completion team nor Management Team ever bothered to pick up the phone to me or update me despite assuring me with every communication that I would be updated. When a mistake this significant is made, I would expect a phone call. I don't believe that Managers or those in a Senior position should hide behind emails when their company is at fault.

If you do use RG Law I would be on top of them with the administration & double check everything has been done promptly & properly, because it's not worth the stress years down the line. I would recommend just using another Solicitor. We were recommended RG Law by Abbey New Homes who we purchased with, & as first time buyers we just went with what were advised. I would recommend doing your research & looking around to save the stress & hassle down the line.
