Richer Sounds - Guildford Reviews 

Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and even though I had spent a fair while chatting about my chosen tv purchase they still gave me time to experience their demo room. New television was delivered on a day that suited me and I’m very happy with it. Overall a great buying experience from Richer Sounds, Guildford.

The whole experience from start to finish with Richer Sounds was excellent. Initial advice, taking our room layout and challenges in to consideration, proposing options that work for us, and the communications over the few days before purchase was great. Dan was great.

I cannot praise the experience with the Guildford store highly enough. Firstly Tayla went to great lengths to get in speakers that weren’t available in any RS store to demo.
At no point did I feel sold to or upsold- just balanced advice and it was no problem whatsoever when I changed tact as decided on a completed different set up. I’m delighted with the outcome and will be back next time I’m making any AV purchase.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. I was given great advice and was given the opportunity to listen to different speakers and different styles of music. After trying 5 sets of speakers from other suppliers I have at last found the right pair!

Ordered online a portable CD player, one recommended by Which?. Collected it from Guildford store. The young man that served me gave me the distinct impression that because I had not bought the item in his store I was 'persona non gratis', to some degree. Perhaps it was the inexperience of an over-confident young man.
I am not put off Richer Sounds.

Very helpful in store advising which products to buy. Delivery arranged extremely quickly with installation 2 days later. I am very happy with purchases, but mostly with the superb customer service from Richer Sounds. I spoke with 3 different staff members in the shop yet the continuity was seamless & all were excellent, helpful & friendly.

I have bought equipment from Richer Sounds several times over the past 25 years. When it came to buying a turntable after not having had one for 27 years, the choice of retailer was simple.

Roland was very helpful in assisting me in my choice of turntable. I had so many questions, some of which might have seemed naive. He took the time to find out what kind of audio system I had and what I was looking for. There was no pressure or attempt to upsell, and I am very happy with my purchase.

There happened to be a fault with the power adaptor with the first turntable supplied, and that was quickly sorted out with an exchange.

I have spent the last week going through my modest record collection which started in my teens.

I can thoroughly recommend Richer Sounds for the expert knowledge and straightforward advice.

I booked a time to listen to the machine I was considering buying. It was all set up and having been given operating instructions, I was left to listen to what I wanted. I wasn’t rushed. I bought it😀

Spoke to someone in the shop by phone to check item was still available and they reserved it for me until I could pick it up. The stads were very helpful.

Recently, I purchased an item online, which arrived promptly. I mis-interpreted one aspect of the device which meant that it would not meet my needs. I spoke with my local shop who were very happy to arrange a complete refund. This is just one aspect of the customer support and care (and good advice) that I have received over many years from Richer Sounds.

Good advice from staff members

I went in to ask advices I wanted to replace a Sony Bravia. I was down the different models and the pros & cons were clearly explained. In the end I concluded that the LG suited my needs and that is what I purchased.

Knowledgeable staff made for good experience and purchase.
