New Sony Bravia 3

Able to order online to collect from store. Staff very helpful. Great customer service on the phone & in person. Steve helped me carry the tv out to my car & guided me how to carry/place safely.
I would use Richer Sounds again

I went to the Maidstone store to get a upgrade cartridge for my teac tn 350 turntable , the team advised me to upgrade the turntable to the argon TT 3 plus , a bit more expensive than a cartridge but I am glad I did, it was a massive step up and the sound was an amazing difference. Thanks team another happy customer.

Easy of purchase thru telephone

We were planning to buy a large TV for a long time. After lots of research and thinking we decided to buy a TCL 85 inch. I got a price match and at no extra cost, Richer Sounds provided 6 years guarantee while all other dealers had 2 years.

I ordered the TV & a wall bracket through phone. They also gave a £20 discount on the wall bracket

Special mention to Jay, who price matched & Ben who handled the telephone order

Ordered Friday afternoon, delivered Tuesday afternoon

Highly recommended

Good company with great staff

I had a generally positive experience at Richer Sounds. The staff were knowledgeable and inspired confidence through their expertise. I asked a lot of questions and received thorough, detailed explanations, which was especially helpful as someone who is not particularly knowledgeable about the products.

Initially, I felt slightly rushed, but this was later addressed and the service improved significantly.

The only disappointment came after I had purchased two products. I was informed afterwards that the second item was not actually in stock due to a supply delay, which I had not been expecting. I was also told that there was one unit available in the back, but it had been reserved for another customer despite no payment or deposit having been made. In my view, that item should have been made available to me. As a result, I now have to wait around a month for delivery.

Despite this issue, the staff were very professional and accommodating throughout. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily shop there again.

03/06/26 – I received a call from an employee at Richer Sounds informing me that my other order was available in Southampton. I was given the option of either collecting it from the Maidstone branch, where I was advised it would be available from approximately 12:00 pm on 4 June, or having it delivered to my home address. As I was due to be in the area, I agreed to collect the item on 4 June.

04/06/26 – After contacting the store on three occasions, at approximately 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm, I was informed each time that the item had still not arrived and that DPD deliveries were delayed. Naturally, this was both disappointing and frustrating, particularly as I had been assured the previous day that the item would be available for collection from around midday.

Naturally, this causes disappointment and frustration and in my circumstances a poor use of time when you are informed that it would be available from 12 pm today. The information provided did not meet or effectively manage reasonable customer expectations. Following further discussion, I was advised that the store would contact me once the item was in stock in Maidstone and arrange delivery to my home address on a mutually convenient date and time. I look forward to what could possibly go wrong next. I fully appreciate this is beyond the control of the company and they did consider alternative options. I’ve no alternative but to now reduce this experience down to two stars. My other positive comments above still stands.

I’m delighted to report that I have successfully received my CD player which although took some time has finally got here and I’m entirely happy. I would recommend richer sounds for their customer support and knowledge.

Great place, very helpful and knowledgeable, i use the Maidstone branch and always get a good deal. The only place i use for the best audio and visual.

Salesman tried pushing dearer product and more than I wanted (speaker wire) even when I explained my restrictions caused by available space and furniture placing. Not use to this type of hard sell from richer sounds...

Sometimes a colleague’s preference for a particular product or technology can come across too strongly, but it’s important we always get that balance right, and it’s clear that hasn’t happened here.

Very happy with this company

Website easy to navigate, ordering simple and straightforward.
Excellent pricing, and comes with 6-year guarantee.
Order for TV placed in the late afternoon, paid for next-day delivery and it arrived at 9.00am the following morning.
Very happy with my TV and the service.

My order arrived on time

My order arrived on time. I was a bit concerned when I sore a single man walking down my driveway and how he managed the final six steep steps to my front door. After he deliver it the second man appeard.

Cambridge audio mnx10

I purchased a Cambridge audio mnx10 streamer which was available as a clearance item it was immaculate condition but unfortunately the aux terminals had a faulty connection. The Maidstone store was very helpful. Shame to miss out as there were no more available. Both the Maidstone store and Mike at customer service have been excellent and have offered a very helpful solution. Really good customer service 🙂

Expert customer service - Projector & Screen

IMO it is difficult to get impartial, direct and easy to understand product information when buying tech. Luckily for me, Piers from the Richer Sounds Maidstone branch guided me to select a projector and screen that matched my requirements. Safe in the knowledge we had filtered to the right product, the price he gave me was by far (£250 cheaper) than all the other so-called online discount stores.
I would recommend Piers to anyone else needing expert customer service.
