I have made a number of purchases from Richer Sounds over the years and have never been disappointed, the level of service is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable allowing for informed decisions to be made prior to purchasing. I was particularly impressed on my most recent purchase, when I was offered a loan of a demo device to take home and test before buying. I am confident that this kind of service would not be offered at a larger retailer. In my opinion the independence of Richer Sounds is one of their greatest strengths, as they can offer unbiased opinions on a large range of products which gives greater confidence that value for money for the customer is a priority

i wanted to upgrade my hi-fi loudspeakers to something really nice so of course the first place i looked was the Richer Sounds website. what was great about the website was being able to compare specifications of the four products i was interested in. only one area fell short: there was no information about the delivery company and therefore i had to call someone from the national sales team. i needed to be able to request an afternoon delivery but unfortunately DPD were unable to offer this. therefore i called the closest Richer Sounds retail store who were pleased to take my order, were knowledgeable and who even gave me a discount whilst relating to my excitement at the prospect of audiophile sound once again! for payment, i was sent a link to a secure third party rather than having to read the card out over the phone, which i preferred. DPD then delivered my loudspeakers to the store for my collection. that afternoon i was able to drive to the store in my own time, park directly outside, and collect my loudspeakers and cabling in a relaxed and friendly store - they even carried the speakers to my car for me! i would encourage anyone looking to buy hi-fi, 5.1 or tv equipment to check out Richer Sounds. by appointment, the store are even willing to provide demonstrations, which i would have requested if i was uncertain in any way. oh, and the product? my new Wharfedale Super Denton 3-way bookshelf loudspeakers are everything i wanted and more! literally worth every penny. i couldn’t be more pleased. thank you for meeting my expectations, Richer Sounds. next up: a 5.1 surround sound system…

Ordered online, delivered promptly by DPD to store for collection.
I've also bought directly from the shop previously and found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable.

My original choice wasn't available but Paul sorted me a Hisense 43" Pro, and a Pedestal Stand which solved my problem regarding its positioning. The TV is great and the stand a perfect solution. The personal contact was better than shopping online, and Richer Sounds Middlesbrough the answer.

The staff member Dave from Middlesbrough branch who dealt with my television purchase provided me with the best customer service I have received from any retailer in over 20 years. For me it is this which makes the difference when I am considering a retailer for subsequent purchases. Needless to say I shall be using Richer Sounds in future.
