The fact that we could see all three manufacturer variations on our chosen item, (we chose a Samsung Frame TV) along with reasonable and easy to follow advice, gave us confidence in our end result.
Which has worked out beautifully for us.
Yes it wasn't cheap but by no means the dearest option we could have made.

We needed some advice on a new music system as we didn’t have a clue. So glad we popped into richer sounds and found Colin. He was so polite, honest and helpful. Set everything up for us to see and listen and answered all our questions. I could have easily listened to his knowledge and passion for music all afternoon. He sorted everything out for us and phoned me a couple of days later to check everything was ok and if I needed a hand with anything. I can’t remember such service from any shop like that for a long time. A brilliant shopping experience. Well done Colin and thank you mate 👏👏

Wet, miserable, rainy February day and staff gave me free brolly. Was picking up set of headphones I had ordered online. I could have had them delivered to my home but I think it's better to pick up smaller/medium sized items from the store as the more people going into the store the better chance it has of staying open. Some of the staff have worked there for decades. Support your local store if possible.

Fantastic customer service, ordered TV Monday, delivered on Tuesday. I would definitely use Richer Sounds for all TV purchases in the future.

Both employees spent a long time answering our questions, giving recommendations, and guiding us through the process of purchasing a record player. They helped us find the best combination for our needs, and set up delivery of our speakers, which came within the week. Delivery was handled smoothly.

I found the guys at Richer Sounds, Newcastle to be very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me make a decision on which turntable, amp and speakers to purchase. They setup the equipment in their test room to give me an insight on how the equipment will sound, pointing out all the features of everything. Colin was fantastic in explaining everything and also putting a price match package together. Richer Sounds went out of their way to ensure everything was delivered on time and in particular sourcing an Item from another store which they did not have in stock. A great experience with this store and I will not hesitate to return.

I had a problem with a previous purchase of a Denon DAB/FM radio-CD player some age. After discussion, I decided to replace it with the latest equivalent. I paid for it,booked a specific delivery date some 10 days hence. Then, in the meantime, my original device seem to have got over it's problems. I decided to ask for cancellation of the new device, which was still four days away from delivery. Absolutely no quibble: 'Yes we can do that, just need your card details.' Refund made immediately. Brilliant service (2026-02-05). Which is why I've used Richer Sounds, Newcastle, on previous occasions.

Technical queries were dealt with professionally by experienced and knowledgeable staff, in a friendly and informatively manner. I was provided with sound advice that anticipated any problems that I may encounter making the installation of equipment simple. There was the offer of giving them a ring if I had any problems, and they would sort them for me. Products were good value and quality.
