I knew what I wanted

Poor service at Harrogate store on…
I visited the Harrogate store on 6/12/25.
I was so disappointed.
My fitting was hard sell. I was measured and shown 3 bras. Out of the 3 , 1 fitted great. I was upsold one that didn’t fit on the sides as I was spilling out. I had challenge my fitter and say it didn’t fit else I’d have been sold it!
I am fitted twice yearly at a prestigious bra factory in the midlands so I know what a good fitting is.
I bought a beautiful body but then was pressured into trying g a gown and a slip , I’m not that customer. The bra I purchased was faulty, the next day after Wearing the fabric disintegrated away behind the clasp. I called the store and dealt with a very patronising store manager who demanded I pay the postage to send my faulty garment back. I did say if she wasn’t going to be helpful I’d contact head office.
I was made to feel very uncomfortable When I emailed pictures then I was told the postage would be covered but to send it as cheaply as possible and not special delivery. I was worried it wouldn’t get there. When i told her about my experience she was not really bothered.
I ended up having to call to store to chase my refund, Gutted to have this experience especially as my husband gifted me it.

My order took far longer than expected…
My order took far longer than expected to arrive—despite initially being in my city, it inexplicably left and was delayed even further. I ultimately had to call Rigby & Peller myself to track it down, and only days later did the package arrive.
When it did, the box was visibly damaged and ripped open. It looked as though someone had gone through it. This is especially unacceptable given that the item was a bra—an intimate, personal product. Receiving it in that condition felt invasive and deeply unprofessional.
Between the unnecessary delays and the compromised packaging, this experience reflects a serious lack of care in both shipping and handling. I expect far better from a company positioning itself as a premium brand.

Love Primadonna Bras
Always provides a great fit and support. I no longer experience the neck pain I had when wearing bras other than primadonna. The bras are well packaged and the box can be reused for returns. I appreciated the pre-printed address label. The proforma return invoice took a little understanding as I wasn't sure whether to write in the original or sale price.
