Been using riixo compression now for around 5 months , and wow what a difference they make compared to other brands. the benefit of ice and heat is so unique and can’t recommend them enough. They are now a religious routine in my recovery to get the best out of my game

I çan categorically say that my RIIXO knee cuffs are by far the best relief I have , including Physio / vitamin supplementation& my massage gun for my Osteoarthritis

The quality of the Riixo products is obvious as soon as you open the box, they also come with a handy carry case if you want to use them on the go. I have used calf sleeves before for recovery but these are an absolute game changer. Just 20 minutes in these eases the tight calves after a hard session and then just throw them back in the freezer for next time. Have recommended to a lot of other runners and would recommend to anyone interested in trying them out they are worth every penny. Looking forward to trying more products in the future.

Superbly made and truly unique in being able to achieve calf compression and icing. Nothing else like them! They are a top drawer product (and live in the top drawer of my freezer…..)

I have been using riixo recovery products to assist with my injuries over the last few years. The support, advice and incredible products I have purchased have been second to none.
The recovery cuffs are a great addition, for someone who has had a ruptured Achilles the cuffs being deployed post run have enabled me to continue with my personal fitness journey- long may this continue supported with my recovery armoury

I have been using the Riixo recovery cuffs for my calfs for the best part of a year now. I use them after each run and alternate between hot and cold and find they really help.

On the back of this I recently purchased the ice ball from the National Running Show at the NEC. What a buy! A special show price for an awesome piece of kit that is so versatile.
Its super cold when it comes out of the freezer, gets into all those hard to reach areas and stays really cold whilst self treating, really well priced and should be a no brainer to every runner...less than one session with a physio or sports therapist!

I purchased my RiiXO Recovery cuffs and ice ball from the Running Show at the NEC. The show was coming to a close and I'd been listening to a talk when I noticed the stand. Something new I'd missed.
I was with my friend Pete, a deep tissue massage therapist and we were both intrigued with what RiiXO were selling. Armed with questions we ventured over.
No hard sell was needed here, the product sold itself for me. Ok it's not cheap and I'm a single mother on a budget, but I instantly saw an investment in purchasing the cuffs. Firstly, the instant cool compression relief on my calfs was going to aid in recovery and reduction in injuries. Hoorah, I'm miserable and horrible if I can't run and physios can cost a lot. I'm all in favour of prevention.
I began to list the benefits: easy and convenient, keeps cold for hours, comfortable to wear, better than an ice bath (who likes those?), reduction in DOMS, portable and can be used warm too! Fantastic.
A piriformas injury in February, then led onto sciatica pain in my right lower leg. To get moving in the morning I alternated between warm (popping a cuffs in the microwave no more than 15 secs) and cold anything to floss the nerves. It definitely helped. The ball was brilliant for sticking in the bum took! If you know what I mean. I was back racing in months.
The cuffs are so transportable and keep cold for hours. I've taken them to track training and races and then driven home wearing them. Time saved and recovery set in motion - literally!
Probably like most runners, I have had a number of injuries and various self help tools at home, each have their place. I can honestly say I love my cuffs and look forward to wearing them after training and racing and they don't take up any of my time! Brilliant!

I purchased the calf cuffs from the National Running Show in January. I needed a product that could provide hot and cold treatment to my injured calf 4 weeks out from the Seville Marathon.

This product got me to the start line. They treat the whole calf area and I could wear them whilst working at my desk at home.

Runners spend lots of money on shoes but don’t invest in a quality recovery product. In my opinion all runners that compete in race events should purchase this product and invest in their recovery.

I purchased the Riixo calf recovery cuffs and the ‘ice ball’ at the National Running Show in January.
I am delighted with both purchases, ok I love the cuffs more as they don’t make me wince 😂!
I’m a marathon distance runner and after my most recent race I needed dry needling to my calves (as they were clearly over-used)!
I’m now using the cuffs after my longer training runs and love them! I actually spend my last few miles looking forward to getting them on when I get home 😂 My muscles feel ‘energized’ after wearing them. The ice ball is also great for targeted relief on my ‘hot spots’ ~ don’t enjoy that so much but it works and that’s the main thing (the ice cold temp is actually a good distraction, the lacrosse ball I used before wasn’t so distracting)!
Overall, great product, friendly, knowledgeable and trust worthy service!

I purchased the ice ball from the Riixo stand at the national running show, I keep it in the freezer all the time which is great as it is ready to use when I get one of my lower leg niggles, it doesn’t take up much room in the freezer and the mrs doesn’t moan at me for taking the wrong pack of peas out! Great job Riixo

Great value for money, recovery can start straight away as super convenient. Definitely seen a diminish in calf injuries since using these. Would 100%recommend.

I’m a middle to long distance runner (generally distances between 10-25km) and I run both road and trail. I very much train for fun, not with a ‘race pace’ in mind or with any kind of gruelling schedule! For me, running is all about wellness so it’s really important to me that I take care of my body before and after training to allow it to keep taking care of me.

With this in mind, I was intrigued the moment I heard about the RIIXO calf cuffs. Having experienced DOMS in the past and not been able to run several days in a row, I hoped that they might have a positive, if slight impact, but I was not expecting them to be anywhere near effective as they have been. From the first use (popping them on straight from the freezer after a long run), I noticed faster recovery and significantly reduced DOMS. I could run the next day without DOMS. I tend to use them after each run now, mostly with ice but sometimes just compression, and the impact has been fantastic.

I love that you can just pop them on and get on with your day - no need to carve out extra time like you would with a massage gun. They’re also so easy to take to and from races, because they come with an insulated box that keeps them hot / cold.

No, they’re not cheap, but I was so pleased to receive an NHS/social care discount which was incredibly generous and thoughtful from a small company. Thank you again!

Overall a blooming brilliant product!!! Can RIIXO somehow make the equivalent for quads / thighs?!?!

Working within the run form development and injury assessment and rehab marketplace as I do, I see a lot of products that look like an idea but don't really deliver.

Riixo Recovery Cuffs are very different and great value for money. When you look at the pricing you may raise an eyebrow at that statement but if you break it down and look at my weekly mileage which is is generally high both because of my work with clients and also my personal training schedule, for me and many others I am sure, the cuffs are enabling which makes them fabulous value for money.

My body reacts well to ice and cold water therapy and I use the cuffs predominantly from the freezer. They just get on with the job in hand whilst I can get on with mine. The cuffs take the hassle out of creating enough compression with ice packs and physio wrap alongside the costs of ordering in those products as well as the time it takes to spend on rehab or prehab protocols.

With a work and training schedule like mine the cuffs will pay for themselves way inside 6 months and if you're an athlete who is keen on simplicity and serious about looking after your body I suggest these are a game changer.

I love the freedom they have created for me and the simplicity of the idea. I look forward to getting in from training knowing that this element of my ongoing rehab is in hand.

I am excited for Riixo and their ongoing product development.

Having tried everything from recovery boots, to ordinary calf cuffs to massage guns to various rollers, massage balls - you name it! Riixo cuffs are the ONLY thing I have found that boosts my recovery WHILST still enabling me to hit paces and powers in the next session -ie no heavy legs!

As an athlete & business owner, I am often rushing from session to meeting - the Riixo cuffs are convenient and work 'with' me rather than me having to dedicate 20-30mins using them (as per boots or guns for example). I most enjoy using Riixo heated - though I find benefit from wearing them without freezing or heating also!

A great price point, easy to use, simple and effective. I will look forward to more products in the range.

Best piece of sporting recovery kit I have owned!

Example of how I use them - I ran a marathon before work yesterday then had to be in London for a meeting. I wore the cuffs under my trousers on the my train commute. They were then stored in my bag and without adding any weight at all to my kit bag.

The product is discreet and very effective. I’ve used recovery sleeves in the past but they weren’t as mobile or as easy and so I just didn’t end up using them much. These are very convenient. I’m an endurance fanatic but anyone committing to a high training load should seriously consider these for recovery – runners, gym goers whoever.

I got the cuffs to add to my recovery protocol after they were recommended by a training partner. They come into their own after hard speed sessions and long runs (which are very long, I’m an ultrarunner!). When I measured my legs, I was between sizes but I messaged the team at Riixo and they got straight back to me and guided me on the size they thought was most suitable, and they fit perfectly. The cuffs are excellent quality, hard-wearing and comfy. They offer a great amount of compression with the added benefit of ice. As someone who has suffered with shin splints in the past, this feels reeeeeally lovely! The carry case to keep the cuffs cool works well, too...with the distances I cover I probably test the limit but I was the envy of my running buddies after a run along the Offa's Dyke trail, when I pulled the chilled cuffs out of the car 😁

Recently I picked up a calf niggle during a training run, which was bad enough that I had to take a few days off from training as I couldn't even manage recovery pace without pain. My calf was swollen and extremely tender. I started using the cuffs 3 times per day, in combination with elevation and plenty of sleep. 3 days later I was back to full training and haven't had any further issues with the injury. They’re versatile and so convenient.

The cuffs are a great new addition to my training routine to help me recover between sessions, while sitting at my desk at work. I’ve also used them on my foot when I had some metatarsal swelling!
Made from a very durable fabric and soft, not scratchy, on the inside.
A good amount of compression and stretchy so they’re not impossible to get off.
Great for using when travelling and they don’t take up much space.

Having owned Riixo calf cuffs for a few months now I feel ready to offer a review. If you’re wondering why the wait? That’s because from my first use I felt that I had discovered a really good product, but of course one outing does not a runner make!
Over many uses I can say their excellent quality has been maintained and they retain that robust feel they had when I first got them out of their packaging. You’ll find these a thoughtfully designed recovery aid that definitely has athletes in mind. I find the cooling effect immediately soothes my legs after both short intense speed sessions and my long slower runs, both an essential part of my ultramarathon training. The cuffs are easy to put on using the application sleeve, and provide the perfect amount of compression to calm post-workout inflammation, without feeling restrictive. The hard-wearing material and genius thermacase are added bonuses!
I’ve also continually used the ice ball, which is a convenient way to combine ice with self-massage, and is particularly suited to aid prevention of, and recovery from, shin splints.
All-in-all, very high quality products, which are fit for purpose and combined with the fantastic customer service, I would definitely recommend Riixo and I will be keeping an keen eye out for future products and developments.

Having recently started using the calf cuffs and ice ball I cannot rate these products highly enough. No more messing around with ice baths or missing out on the benefits of ice/compression after a training session, with the thermacase I can bring the cuffs to work with me and they are still frozen ready to use after a few hours!

I really like the ease of this product. I'm 6'4'' and c. 95-100kg (dependent on what i'm training for). In my 50's now I have moved from running, to running and cycling to running, cycling and swimming. My preferred discipline remains running, but age and size has made that more challenging in recent years, so cycling and swimming allowed me to stay fit with reduced muscle and joint fatigue (but not quite the same pleasure). To keep running meant a regime of either applying frozen peas or ice baths. I found the ice baths really effective but not convenient, pretty uncomfortable and a little bit overkill when it's my lower legs which really needed the relief. The frozen peas treatment was ok as far is it goes if targeting a specific niggle but as a general recovery device we're talking 4 bags, being perfectly honest that never happened.
For me, the cuffs are ideal, they aid recovery to an area I know from experience I'm vulnerable to injury in and they're convenient.
I've given 4 stars here because the fit isn't 100% (I got a medium, the lower half of the cuff is spot on but I think the upper half could be a hair tighter). I've spoken to the team and I understand this has now been addressed.
I was fortunate enough to run in a couple of Commonwealth games and an Olympics, in those days little was done in regard to aiding recovery. I think these would have been a real benefit to put on post training, particularly the really hard endurance sessions. I no longer compete or train at that level but really hope to keep enjoying my running for many more years and these will certainly help.
Updated to 5 stars. True to their word the new measured cuff is fantastic. Looking forward to Rixxo adding additional products to their range.
