Perfect!
We visited, Ontdek House of Rituals op Spui 10 in Amsterdam on the 6th of May. We were served by the manager Sebastian, he was charming, friendly, attentive and made our experience perfect. We booked the hydromassage and it was so good my fiancé fell asleep. There is nothing I would change about this experience, except I wished we'd booked more !
Horrible customer Service
On May 7th at 4:45 PM, at rituals in Amager centert, there is an offer if you buy items worth 400+ DKK, then you are entitled to a small gift. My sister bought two items worth 600 DKK, and the cashier refused to give her a gift, since it was done on two separate receipts even though it was done at the same time. Therefore, I returned to the store and asked her about the offer, she stated as follows, because it was done on two separate receipts, so I asked her to return these items, and she was refusing. She said no. I told her, it is my right to return them and I want to buy them on one single receipt. She responded by, ‘calm down’ while holding her hand in front of my face. I am 8 months pregnant, you do not tell a woman that asked to return an item to calm down as I was completely normal. She later said she will give the gift anyway. Since one of the items we bought was a gift to someone, I asked her if we can have the gifting package to place my item in it. She says, “it doesn’t fit that’s why I don’t want to give it to you.” I insisted, and put my item in the package in front of her to show her it fits. This lady went full attack mode on me, consistently telling me calm down, and she refuses to talk to me, put her hand in front of me like ‘stop’ and she is rolling her eyes already and telling me, “I don’t have time for you, I don’t want to talk to you” while there is no other customers in the store but me and my sister. I told her, this is unacceptable. And I will complain, she was like, “sure sure complain I don’t care”. She is unprofessional and is ready to attack a customer verbally any time. And she was like “I don’t want to assist you”. If you cannot handle customers, do NOT work in customer service field. Even before we make this purchase she was talking on her phone despite as having my sister there as a customer in there. She also asks for private questions repeatedly, she kept on asking my sister “do you have a car, do you have a car?” She is nosey, it is none of her business if my sister has a car or not. All these questions just because my sister is buying car air freshener perfume. I always buy from rituals and other places, I have never encountered such horrible experience, specially as a pregnant woman. She does not deserve to work there.

Review for Body Lotion Mousse
I would like to mention that I was a big fan of Ritual lotion Mousse because of the texture and pleasant perfume. I also work on big skincare company, but still I liked this product of Ritual.
However recently I bought Ritual of Yazakura body lotion Mousse. I must say the quality had been destroyed completely with price increase. The texture of the product is like shaving foam now, not giving me rich oily feeling in my skin. And perfume is hardly there.
What's wrong with Ritual ??
I will never repurchase any item of Ritual, because it's no longer worth paying high price for cheap quality. Ritual no longer stands by its quality I think.

Swarnendu Chandra

There was attempted delivery of my parcel when I wasn’t home. Yodel has redirected it to InPost locker within minutes from knocking to my door. Locker conveniently full and no trace of my parcel after that. I have contacted Rituals numerous times and they just push the responsibility onto delivery companies every time, even when I was clearly instructed by InPost the next step is Rituals contacting them. Shocking customer service, minding their stuff is so expensive. Now I’m waiting for investigation to finish so no money and no items. Avoid buying online!
Good products 🗑 horrible customer service
While I am a long-time admirer of your product quality, I am writing to share some concerns regarding the consistent level of service I’ve experienced across multiple locations. Unfortunately, the atmosphere at several stores has felt dismissive and uninviting. I believe the brand's premium reputation would be better served by a more inclusive and welcoming customer service approach.
This peaked during my recent visit to the Wembley Outlet. I observed staff members treating specific customers with noticeable "attitude," including judgmental looks and disparaging comments directed at those who did not make an immediate purchase.

Delivery time states can take up to 7 days in busy periods still not received despite 2 enquiries when it will be delivered, as unable to use track and trace. I’m not sure if the products are not UK based if it is UK based then the delivery time is ridiculous. I would never of ordered as this is a birthday gift which will not arrive in time
THE BEST OF ME
Hey team! I’ve been looking for the review section for the Jujube and Lotus Flower shower gel because the world needs to know: I seriously regret not finding this sooner. Honestly, I feel like this product should be written into our national anthem so the whole country can sing about how good it is. Thank you for making me smell like an absolute boss!
Faulty lip care lipstick
I have bought 3 of their lip care lipsticks. Two had a bitty substance in them which was unpleasant to use. I decided to buy one more and if this was the same then I wouldn’t purchase any more.
The third one has a large dip through the middle of it so not even a full lipstick. I was told to contact customer service. I had to jump through hoops to show proof of purchase and the they only offered £10 gift voucher so they will still get the money. I won’t be buying anymore or give them my business. Their trust-pilot only has 2.1 rating which I’m not surprised at.

Great Customer Service from Megan Rushden Lakes
Just collected a travel (small) collection of Sakura from the Rushden Lakes Store - I was greeted by Megan who has great Customer Relation Skills - really friendly but not too pushy.
Together we signed my wife Jill up for offers and possible future discounts.
I was on an errand for my daughter and must say as a 73 year old ex boxer really enjoyed my visit.
Thanks Megan and Rituals

At this point just sell our data
At the end of February, I have received, what looked like, rituals email. It had my name, birthday, address. I clicked on a link and every time it took me to different domain. I have questioned rituals on 1st March, why they haven’t notified us that data was stolen. They told me the breach happened years ago and Danish government didn’t find any wrongdoing on their part or something like that. Today I got email from them saying that DATA WAS STOLEN AGAIN. Are you kidding me? How bad is your security? They stole everything except payment method and password. EVERYTHING. And you are saying don’t worry, it’s all fine. Right.

I always have bought from the private collection, I always go for the XL candles, unfortunately the candles do not burn as they should, also some just smell of wax. I have been i to the store to advise. If I am paying so much for a candles then I expect the burn to be as advertised. I always burn for a few hours as directed equally, but after the candles get to around 50% the wickes do not burn equally meaning I am paying premium for 50% of the candles. I have decided against purchasing. I expected some help from in store but they just are not interested. This has been, ongoing from last year

I brought some shower foam from Rituals and I have been highly disappointed that the product is faulty and they refuse to change it because I brought it from Bicester Village in their outlet instead of the shop.
An hour ago I received a reponse from Customer Service and I have to say they were speedy and sent me a gift receipt as a way of helping to resolve my issue. So Thank you for your speedy response.
Wow awful
Wow, the constant one star reviews here should have been a heads up if I had thought to read the reviews before ordering
This is my first time ordering rituals online, and I am shocked at the low rent/low end vibes they're given regarding customer service
So, I ordered an item either Thursday or Friday last week, and usually when I order at the end of the week, unless I get next day delivery the item will usually dispatch first thing Monday morning. Now at 3pm Monday, no order has been dispatched, some of my order is a gift and I need it asap. So, to my surprise rather than support me to get my item shipped, they cancelled my entire order 😁 What company in their right mind, right sense of business aptitude, and ethics would cancel an order rather than say to the customer "I'm sorry your items haven't been dispatched, we'll get these out for you asap" Isn't what any normal person or business would do? I'm stunned by the blazé attitude of the customer service agent, and why are they even in business if they can't even be bothered?
I would never spend a penny with rituals again, and I just won't even purchase elsewhere now, they're a completely "unfriendly brand" and to blame evri when they haven't even dispatched it yet is beyond me 🤣
Order UK03073037
Says it's cancelled but can't even be bothered to send me a cancellation email either
I think it’s time to give up with Rituals
I think it’s time to give up with Rituals. Every time I order, there is an issue - damaged item, the wrong item etc. This time it’s a product missing. It’s not good enough when paying high end prices. Not to mention things constantly being out of stock both online and in store.
Upgraded Bottle… Downgraded Formula
l've been buying this hand cream for almost 8-9 years, especially the cherry blossom one. It used to be one of my favorites.
Back then, the packaging was simple plastic nothing special, but the formula? Amazing. One pump was enough, super moisturizing, and it actually lasted.
Now they've upgraded to glass packaging, which looks nicer and probably feels more "premium." But the formula has completely changed... and not in a good way.
It's much more liquid, less rich, and even after 3-4 pumps, my hands still feel dry. On top of that, the price has gone up.
Honestly, I would take the old plastic packaging back any day if it meant getting the original quality again.
Buy better elsewhere
After ordering items one was broken in transit . I was given a £10.00 gift card and advised they would send out another which they did to the wrong address… was told I could get another £10.00 gift card due to it going to the wrong address and a refund …. Now telling me they don’t give two gift cards even though it’s for two seperate issues !! Rituals you definitely lost a valued customer !! You don’t care at all and all you say is we will pass on your feed back ? To who ? Fobbed off totally
