Poor customer service

Poor customer service I bought some perfumes paid , and after finished,and 1 minute before I trayed fix but they said that I have to wait do the delivery to do the return to fix again. so this is my second and last time that buy something from this company

the diffuser liquids evaporate very quickly

Rituals reed diffusers look quite luxurious but the fragrances don’t last long at all - a couple of weeks and they have totally evaporated which is extremely disappointing
the diffuser refills are also far too expensive when you need to use them so frequently - over £90 a bottle - really ??!!
I will probably continue to use the diffuser bottles but will use another brand to fill them up

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a scam. I ordered the changing foundation on 26/11/25 and found it to be very shiny with no coverage, not offering a quality foundation finish at all. It actually felt terrible on my skin. I did not subscribe to receive further orders. On 26/11/25 I received notice that my next order was on the way and money would be deducted from my account. I cancelled immediately and withdrew authorisation for them to take funds. My cancellation was not accepted and after 15 emails from me with similar replies offering 'deals' if I stayed with them, the product arrived and funds deducted. I had to cancel my credit card to stop them. I returned the product unopened, with a request for refund. No further communication has been received and no refund after 3 weeks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It actually is a zero

It actually is a zero . You talk to a machine called Hazel who tell you not to worry you will love the product you can cancel after you received your next product then all of a sudden it becomes that you must receive it for three months. The product turn orange on my face so not only do i receive a product that i do not want i cannot use it . Please stop them they are a disgrace to customers . Thanks Christina van Wyk New Zealand.

Total garbage,

Products contain no ingredients beneficial for skin, products filled with hormone disrupting agents and skin irritants. Their whole sales pitch is fancy looking packaging with garbage product and a 'luxury' image. Will never spend money here again. Terrible costumers service aswell. I have nothing positive to say other than the stores looking nice, i guess that's how they fool people into buying trash products. Very obvious green washing aswell, false claims of certified ingredients, just another one or their scams.

Awful customer service

I made an order when sales started a few days ago. I spent an hour choosing the products as I love rituals and I always treat my family and friends with rituals gifts. They sent me an email that they are preparing it 2 days ago and today they cancelled it. I was so disappointed as all the products are not available any more. I contacted customer service through what's up and guess what they said that there wasn't a problem with stock but there were issues with delivery to my address. I never requested delivery to my address, it was supposed to be delivered to their shop in Oracle shopping centre so I could collect it at my convenience so all lies basically. I never got an email about parcel being dispatched. I had no idea which company was supposed to deliver it too. What a waste of my time. I can understand that you may run out of stock but please do not lie to me and try to cover your failure by trying to blame me that you couldn't deliver the parcel.

No customer service number. Ordered 2 weeks ago and package cant even be tracked. No information and no response from email. 90 euro wasted and will need to buy a back up present incase. Will not buy from here again. Avoid

Very awful customer service

Very awful customer service. They don’t even read complaint emails, don’t check what is added to orders, and refuse to accept their own mistakes. The information on the website is misleading. I have never experienced such bad customer service.

Awful......just awful!!

I ordered two expensive Christmas gift items on the 11th of December, to ensure delivery before Christmas.
Rituals chosen courier was Yodel and apparently an attempt was made on the 20th of December to deliver said items, which isn't true as I was at home all day and items were apparently returned to sender. No communication from Yodel or Rituals regarding delivery and Rituals "human" customer service was woeful at best. Extremely disappointed with Rituals online ordering, delivery and customer service. I shall write another review, should I ever receive the items I have ordered......watch this space!!!

Items not delivered

Hi,

I placed an order with Rituals on 14 December and I was assured that the package was picked up by the post office and the delay is at their end. A Post confirmed the item has not been received.

I was advised if the item was not delivered by Saturday 20 December that assistance will be provided. When I reached out on Saturday morning I was advised to wait until Monday.

But have raised my concerns that this is a gift for someone else, however they are extremely unhelpful!

No Christmas sales increase here!

The weekend before Christmas and there was only one person on the till. Two others folded napkins, two at the door and one just holding a basket. I said to them you can’t just have one at Christmas. Your sales will be lower. The said “oh right haha”. If I was your CFO I’d be worried.

They have raised they cost so much .. they used to hair / body mist with scrub , shower gel which was excellent for large pack , now it has all gone and cost has gone up by 12 pounds which is madness .. these will surely loose customer and see heavy drop off

I used the York outlet store 20/12/25…

I used the York outlet store 20/12/25 there was a queue of people with only 1 cashier. I muttered to my son as there was a woman gossiping an employee to another employee that they should be serving rather than gossiping. It turned out to be the managerss. Straight into my face arguing with me. She was horrible. She then proceeded to get security. I left my items in the store. Security then spoke to me but realised she was in the wrong. Her attitude was disgraceful all I wanted to do was pay.

I paid for them and you didn’t even have the decency to put in some large gift bags, says a lot about their customer care. I had to buy a cutlery holder in John Lewis to house the gifts, really a poor show!!!

Extremely dishonest company policy

Extremely dishonest company policy. The “free gift when you spend £45” promotion turns out not to apply in December, which is conveniently the busiest shopping period of the year. This was not clearly stated anywhere and I only found out at the checkout after completing my shopping. This feels deliberately misleading and disrespectful to customers’ time and money. Excluding December from such a promotion is a cheap marketing trick, clearly relying on the fact that customers will go ahead and pay anyway. Very poor transparency and customer treatment. I will definitely remember this experience.

The products are perfect.. but...

The products are perfect... so my complain is not about the product, but about the online part...
I have ordered some products from Rituals Ireland... in email with tracking link it say UPS... but it's send by An-post... but problem is An-post haven't received it, Rituals say they sent it on 15 December... response we can't do anything about it... return if you can't see it in tracking on Monday.... then there is no chance to get it before Christmas... But Rituals don't care...
