Disappointed with the Prime Day promo


I’m disappointed with the Prime Day promotion — the offer was misleading and the follow-up was poor. Be cautious before placing an order, especially if you're expecting the free travel set.
While browsing the site during their Prime Day sale, a pop-up ad appeared offering a free travel set with any purchase. I entered the coupon code “TRAVEL,” which confirmed I was eligible. However, when my order arrived, the travel set was missing.
I contacted RW and was told that a discount had already been automatically applied during the sale — something a new customer wouldn’t have known. They then said the travel set would be included with my next order, which contradicts the ad’s promise. I simply requested that the travel set be shipped now, but they refused.
I’ve since cancelled my subscription. When I shared my experience on social media, my comments were hidden and I was blocked. Not impressed.

Hey Jemma,

I can see that you did get the PRIME DAY discount applied to your order. Your issue is that you also wanted another discount applied to your order, and you are limited to one code per order. We say that you are limited to one code per order in several different places including:

1. On the CART page where you enter the coupon code
2. In the email with the PRIME DAY discount code
3. If you swap coupon codes, we say you are limited to one code per order and that your old code has been removed.

I'm not sure how we could have made this more clear.

EDIT: You mention that you didn't know the PRIME Day discount was taken off your order. We mention it on the CART page, when we say "Happy PRIME DAY. Your PRIME code has been applied." We also show you the coupon code you used and the discount amount you are receiving. You also see this in the order confirmation email you get.

I can't tell if you're upset that you didn't know the PRIME DAY code was applied anymore, or you didn't get to use two codes.

We blocked you on social media because you wrote 53 comments (that actually is the number) in the span of 2 minutes claiming we didn't honor the PRIME DAY code when the discount was taken off your order. You can still see that on your order confirmation email.

Dries my hair

I have been using the shampoo & conditioner for 3 months. Just washed it after a trip to the hairdresser, my hair was silky & smooth when I left there. Now looks like I put my finger in a socket. I thought it was my hair texture that had changed, but after reading other negative reviews I feel a bit better & I will stop using these products. It dries my hair, makes it look even finer than it already is & hair loss has continued.

Love the Jasmine and Orange scent

Love the Jasmine and Orange scent. I don’t know about the regrowth, but when I use these products my hair feels fuller. I’ve also noticed I don’t need to wash every day and it doesn’t look oily on top. I will continue to use this product. Hopefully I will see the regrowth in a couple of months.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner…

I bought this shampoo and conditioner because of the amount of positive reviews on Facebook, however these must be fake. I’ve not noticed any improvement in my hair at all, in fact I think my hair has been damaged by using it. I have more hair shedding since using it than I’ve ever had. My hair has lost any lustre that I’d did have. An expensive mistake for me I’m afraid. 😡
I can see routine are saying they have no record of my order which is surprising.

I definitely felt the benefit in both condition and volume

Having wavy, thinning hair and being a woman of a certain age, I noticed a positive change within the first week of using Routine. With shop bought shampoos, I've found they leave my hair feeling 'stripped' clean, so when dry, it is frizzy and feeling dry/brittle. Routine has left my hair softer and fuller, but still clean and benefits from not having sulfates, as this didn't just help improve the condition, but has also made the need to colour my hair less often. I've given a 4 star rating, only because I received deliveries more frequently than I had signed up to. This, however, was quickly rectified when I contacted them and I would definitely order again.

STRICT 30DAY RETURN RULE

I ordered Routine from the company itself, which offered a 30-day return. I bought for a friend who chose not to use it. It was over 30 days when she gave it back to me -completely unused and opened . In spite of the fact that I offered to assume the mailing costs, the company refused any refund, despite my explanation.

In general, we try to ship out really fresh product that hasn't been sitting on the shelf for long. The product you received was less than 2 months old when you received it!

An Outstanding Product

Efficient website. Amazing products. I stumbled onto the brand and thought I would try it. I have been so impressed. I am 67 year old and my hair has never been healthier, thicker and shinier. I have always tended to have a frizz issue and that has been easily managed with Routine. Overall my hair has been transformed and I am thrilled. A wonderful, quality and impactful product that lived up to all the claims.

Bought the shampoo and conditioner

Bought the shampoo and conditioner, waited ages to arrive if I had known it was from USA I would not have bought.
This does not thicken hair but leaves it coated and my hair felt heavy and dirty, requested a refund they wanted me to return so packed it up. £20 to return I think not.

Avoid at all costs.

Priducts do not work Big SCAM! AVOID!

Priducts do not work big scam. Asked to return them they said yes, but refuse to give a return postage. Say to post to American address where it costs more to return than the products and they know this! My hair fell out even more using their products!!! SCAM AVOID!

VERY SAD

I have been using Routine for about a year now. I'm almost stupidly, due to my past dv, coercive relationship, believing that some day, my hair WILL stop shedding if I keep using Routine, I believe you Routine, you wouldn't lie to me!...Most of the reviews give great comments after all, right...?? However, my hair has gotten worse, much worse!! Especially when I put the conditioner on, big clumps between my fingers and tears falling down my face! Yet here I am, still hoping, praying that it will work!! I have actually cancelled my subscription now. Heartbroken UK customer :(

My hair hasn't shone like this for years.

I'm 61.. gone through the menopause... got a full head of coloured hair and moulting like a dog. I've tried loads of shampoos conditioners and serums and nothing stops the shredding and by saying it thickens your hair I've found it just coats your hair making it feel thick but it's not a nice look or feel... it's left feeling like it needed a good wash....I'd given up and then saw Routine advertised....with nothing to lose I ordered the Rosehip Shampoo & Conditioner. I'm on my second bottle and I love it. They are both very thick and creamy. My hair actually shines and my frizzy ponytail is starting to look quite nice. I've also noticed I don't have to wash my hair as often...it feels cleaner for longer. The only downside is the price and the hair shredding hasn't stopped but I'll give it time and see what happens.

Beware the shampoo for thinning hair

The description of the shampoo & conditioner (coconut & vanilla for thinning hair) mentions only the good ingredients. Only when you read the bottle are the chemical components mentioned and only in the accompanying leaflet do they say that it might have a drying effect on some hair. I would not have bought it had this been mentioned up front. Have only used it twice carefully following the instructions & my normally smooth & shiny hair is so dessicated & brittle that I struggle to get a wide toothed comb through it. I will not be doing any more damage by using it again. The smell is nothing like coconut & vanilla and I find it decidedly unpleasant. Expensive mistake -lesson learned.

Repeat order

This was my second order from this company. I do have a lot of new hair growth, so I feel like the product is good. However, the customer service is lacking. I ordered a shampoo and conditioner and there was absolutely no packaging in the box and the lids arrived damaged. Customer service were not helpful and offered me a $10 coupon to use towards my next order. But this would be in the form of a voucher code so could not be combined with other discount offers. I asked for a $10 refund to be applied to the order that was damaged and that wasn’t possible either but they were “SO SORRY” customer service needs to learn that actions speak louder than words. Not sure I will order any more to be honest. This has left a bad taste in my mouth.

AVOID! Mass hair loss and clumping

I stupidly bought the shampoo and conditioner going off the review, which i never usually do. Huge mistake! This is by far the WORST products I've used on my hair. The shampoo literally strips all the colour from your hair and leaves it in a mass of knots. I used the shampoo for 3 weeks because I stupidly thought you need to give it time, and trust the process. Basically, by doing that, I have lost more hair in 3 weeks, than I have in 3 months. It does NOT encourage new growth, nor does it leave your hair "thick and full". My hair resembled matted, dry pile of straw, which when you try to brush it, huge clumps of hair came out. It not only strips the colour from your hair, it strips the natural nutrients. Save your money and put a natural oil into your scalp! Overpriced waste of money and the bottles are not that big either.

Better condition but…….

My hair is definitely in better condition but I’m in my 3rd month & it definitely does not make my hair feel thicker, so I’m sceptical about the claims from others stating this. My hair actually feels thinner. I’ve not noticed new hair growth & think shedding is the same, but the good thing is I don’t seem to have to wash it as much. I have ordered another shampoo & conditioner in the hope that the other claims are true & the fact the condition is better but feel giving it more than 3 stars when not all claims seem true would be wrong at this time. It’s what goes in your body from the inside that helps with hair growth, I don’t believe any shampoo can make it grow.

would not recommend

I bought cucumber shampoo and conditioner
I wash my hair about 3 times a week and I noticed that my scalp was very itchy and developed large dry patches.
I contacted Routine Wellness and was advised to use less product and use my own conditioner until my scalp adjusted for a few more weeks, which I agreed to do.
So 3 weeks later I contacted Routine again advising my scalp was still the same, they apologised and said my feedback was important. No mention of money back.
So I emailed asking for refund, to which they replied: Unfortunately, we're only able to provide returns or exchanges for 30 days after a product was received. Since your package was received by you more than 30 days ago, we're not able to offer a refund or exchange any longer. I'm so sorry about that!
So I replied: So at your suggestion, you ask customers to try product for longer, therefore longer than the 30 days! Disgraceful!
Their response: I'm so sorry if you're feeing that way. Routine’s effectiveness can vary widely per person, especially based on diet, health, and even medication. While it is effective for some within 30 days, some require 6-9 months. The reality is that as a business, we have to set some parameters. I hope you understand.
What a waste of my money!
