Towel Radiator

Ordered via telephone. The salesperson that I spoke to was extremely professional and was fully aware of the product that I was purchasing and he managed to save me £30 by researching other colour options for the towel radiator that I was purchasing. The delivery was prompt.

A Complete Disaster

A Complete Disaster — Avoid Rubberduck Bathrooms at All Costs.

I cannot stress enough how appalling my experience with Rubberduck Bathrooms has been. I paid £12,000 for a bathroom installation that should have been professional, and what I received was a total nightmare. This company is incompetent, reckless, and entirely untrustworthy.
Here is a full list of the issues, mistakes, and failings:
1. Incorrect internal bathroom door
Despite providing them with the exact link to the Howdens 1930s Oak 4 Panel Door I requested, they installed a different door. The frame and architrave were poorly fitted.
Refund was agreed but has still not been paid, despite repeated requests and unrefuted photographic evidence.
2. Tiles and plastering errors
I returned home to find the wrong tiles installed — cheaper, different material.
They then plastered after tiling, permanently ruining the finish and showing a complete lack of understanding of installation sequencing.
3. Bathroom defects
Creaking bath — extremely concerning noise when standing in certain areas; drains poorly.
Marks and scratches on the bath — polished carelessly.
Two different grout colours — corrections were done using the wrong, darker grout, leaving a mismatched finish.
Toilet leak ignored — dismissed as “condensation” despite multiple emails, photos, and video evidence.
4. Damage to property
Kitchen worktop chipped — caused by their team, despite denial.
Window damaged — a glass panel in my property was broken. They attempted to downplay it.
Back door left unlocked — a serious security risk while the property was unoccupied.
5. Substandard boxing and tiling
Walls were out of square, edges uneven, corrections look messy. The finish will never be as intended.
6. Poor communication and unprofessional behaviour
Emails ignored for weeks; responses were dismissive, rude, and full of excuses.
Promises of refunds, visits, and corrections repeatedly broken.
Attempts to shift responsibility onto me for obvious errors.
Only responded seriously when legal action or public review was mentioned.
7. Warranty and guarantees ignored
Despite work being under guarantee, they have refused to honour the agreed refund for the door and dismissed genuine defects.
Their claim that all work was “accepted in May 2025” is false and misleading.
I attempted to resolve all issues professionally and amicably, but this company has ignored, gaslit, and treated me with contempt. I have zero confidence in their ability to deliver competent work.
Final advice: Do not hire Rubberduck Bathrooms. They are untrustworthy, unprofessional, and will leave you with a defective installation, damaged property, and months of stress chasing them for accountability.

Miss Ing,

Posting Images of the bathroom installation at an early part of the fit is a misrepresentation of the standard and quality of finish of the bathroom contract we completed for you in May 2025.

The fact that you were also using the bathroom throughout its installation process, which is also when these images were taken, added a further element of difficulty to the installers task.

As you are aware, the statements made in your review, also bare no correlation to the facts, or time, patience and efforts spent dealing with you by the showroom manager, showroom staff, installation teams and ultimately the company owner, during that process.

Your most recent complaint, claims that you are now unhappy with new items not previously mentioned.

Please note that the plastered walls and the raw timber and MDF of the door frame and architrave that you are now complaining about, 10 months after we completed our contract, are not part of our contracted works and remain unpainted by you.

We do not offer decorating services and this was clearly pointed out to you on several occasions by our staff and is clearly stated in our contract and terms and conditions.

Please also note, you have left raw plastering, timber and MDF unpainted for 10 months while bathroom has been constantly used. This will obviously have caused them to expand and lift.

On enquiry with the relevant trades, we were advised that :-
“These areas in a bathroom must be sealed to prevent water damage, as they are all porous and prone to moisture damage.”
All our staff and installers have worked extremely hard and gone the extra miles to deliver a bathroom of the highest standards in what was an extremely challenging and dilapidated 100yr old bungalow.

It is disappointing that you are not satisfied with the effort, attention and finished product, however, we are happy that our team have completed a fantastic room and trust you will be able to enjoy it once you’ve completed the decorating.

Very polite and no problem was too small. Delivery firm let them down with poor communication between them, I had three delivery dates and the final date delivery was to be between 10.45 and 12.45 they turned up at 07.40, just after I had left on a job?

I'm a trader

Recently, I ordered a bath panel, but unfortunately it arrived damaged during delivery. I sent photos showing how it was received broken.
I would like to thank you for sending a replacement bath panel so quickly. I really appreciate your excellent customer service and the way you handled the situation.

Let down by their couriers and suppliers

Rubberduck were let down by their delivery service. My order was shipped from their supplier and was somehow split into two deliveries. One of those deliveries was lost by their couriers. The second delivery had some parts missing. I appreciate that both these were outwith the control of Rubberduck. They did send replacement parts by a more reputable courier so, kudos to them, everything worked out, but delayed the job by a week. Would I use them again? Probably, but only if their delivery system improved.

They kept sending me damaged products

They kept sending me damaged products. Had to get them elsewhere in the end. Still waiting for confirmation of refund. Avoid if you can. On their reply they tried to blame the courier. The items were damaged because of the way they were packed. There was little or no protective packing. Also they sent 3 damaged cisterns not 2. I ended up having to source elsewhere. I am still waiting for my refund and no-one has contacted me about this. AVOID !!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

After reviewing your orders, I can see that the cistern you ordered had arrived damaged on two occasions. We can only apologise for this as we have little to no control over deliveries made by third party companies and for any damages in transit.

We’re sorry that you feel the service did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

We are always grateful for feedback and continually strive to improve the service we offer.

Kind regards,
