Worse costumer support ever
I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Runkd, which I would consider the worst customer service I’ve encountered in years.
While I initially made a mistake by omitting the street number from my address, I corrected this error promptly, well in advance of the expected delivery date. However, the delivery company (UPS) made multiple errors, including failing to deliver the package after the address was updated and admitting to system issues that caused further delays. Despite this, neither Runkd nor UPS took any meaningful responsibility for the situation.
Runkd has been particularly unhelpful throughout this ordeal. After these companies failed to deliver my order on time, I requested a free return since the product is now useless to me. Runkd refused, even after acknowledging the delivery issues. When I eventually gave up fighting and agreed to pay for the return myself, they refused to accept the product because two months had passed instead of one—ignoring all the delays and complications caused by their partner’s mistakes.
This level of inflexibility and lack of customer support is unacceptable. I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing from Runkd. Their handling of this situation has been appalling, and their refusal to assist after all the additional costs and frustration I endured is a clear example of how little they care about their customers.
How is it possible that, after everything, I finally decide to return the item and even agree to cover the costs (on top of all the expenses I have already incurred), and Runkd remains completely inflexible in adapting to such a specific situation where the customer has clearly been disadvantaged? This is unacceptable.
Avoid this company at all costs.

To be honest I ordered the trainers before trust-piloting, which was unwise, some of the experiences below appeared very negative.
BUT!! Perhaps luckily for me (or not) I had absolutely zero issues with Runkd!
Very informed and smooth from the time of purchase. The trainers were sent from Carpi in Italy (Not Capri) and arrived in Manchester in 4 days!
Sorry to those who had problems. I ended up with a pair of New Balance for £95 inc shipping that were sold out in the UK and were £140 when available.
I think this is a regular occurrence for RUNKD. Avoid!!
Money gone from account, paid the extra amount for quicker shipping, “package” stuck in Madrid for almost 2 weeks now and no sign of it changing or even if the package will be delivered at all. Customer support do not respond. Just pay the extra and order from a good website.

Terrible sports store and even worse customer service.
One star, only because it's not possible to rate it a 0 or even negative. I bought a pair of black Adidas Strung X2 Prime sneakers, size 45 1/3, since I already have the same model in yellow, purchased from the official Adidas website. The shoes arrived in not a very good shape box and turned out to be half a size smaller than the ones I own, despite being both pairs the same model and size (45 1/3), which means they are factory defective (assuming they are even genuine Adidas shoes). I sent them a picture clearly showing the difference between the two right shoes (yellow and black), I received a nonsense email showing that they did not bother to review any evidence received and they refused to take responsibility for the return. At this stage I’m not even sure if the shoes are authentic, given the significant difference between them. In the end, I'll have to request a refund directly from my bank and Mastercard with all the evidence to initiate "chargeback"process and get back my money, as I didn't receive the product I purchased online. When Runkd wants their product back, please let me know and send me the paid return label and I will immediately send it to you. I also suggest Runkd to pass me the contact of Adidas Italy to avoid Runkd intermediation about these pair of shoes but no answer, otherwise based on the comments can take months. After days still no answer from Runkd about the contact of Adidas Italy to verify the authenticity of the shoes. Trying to cover a Scam???

Extra costs and long delivery time
Same as everyone else writing, got charged £50 for the VAT and imports and took about 3 weeks for it to be delivered. Have to fill out customs forms which I had no idea how to do and no guidance on how to do these.

Delivery much later than expected
Order arrived a lot later than when I was told it would be delivered, tracking did not work and I had to reach out to customer service and to UPS multiple times and yet did not receive any updates.
Overall the product was delivered and it was fine, but the experience was not the best.

Untrustworthy company and silent customer service

My case with Runkd has been going on since December 2023. I ordered shoes on black friday, tried them on and returned them. My biggest mistake was to not upload images of the shoes before sending them back because Runk knows how to use this as an opportunity to scam their customers. The shoes were to small, only tried on inside because they were unusable, but Runkd claims they were dirty and worn and impossible for them to re-sell. I was in shock when they declined my return and asked me to pay for the return cost. It has been their word against mine for half a year because I did not take images before returning - why would I? They were in great condition and never in my wildest dreams did I expect them to refuse me a refund.
They came up with an offer to deduct 20 euro ( 25% of the purchace price) for keeping the shoes and cleaning them. I do not how they came up with this cleaning fee, but I offered to cover 10 euro just to close the case. They stopped replying and I had to create new cases to get in contact.
Meanwhile, I got in touch with the European consumer counsil. Their partner in Italy tried for several months to get in touch with Runkd, but they were ignored as well.
Suddenly they decided to go a head deduction 20 euro and refund the rest without my concent. I wrote to them twice after this asking why they avoided the customer counsils inquirys, but they are silent and I assume they just close the case as soon as they open my e-mail. I have not accepted refund from Klarna so the case is still ongoing.
It's been terrible and Runkd has been gaslighting me from the very beginning. I shop a lot online and I understand perfectly what is acceptable to return or not - this is not on me. Do not shop here - it is better to pay a little extra and avoid any contact with Runkd.

Thrust-worthy experience: great price, fast delivery
I found Runkd While searching for a more “exotic” brand, Altra. They had the shoe model I was looking for, at a Great price. I placed my order and what followed was a very quick dispatch, the shipping (dpd) was OK and runkd provided good email communication. I would definitely shop again.

Was my first time to order as the price is the main reason. Bought saucony endorphin pro 4 for £143. I know it non UK. What made me worry is th waiting time duration approximates 6-25 days. But came within 2 weeks! So not that bad coming from abroad with reasonable shipping price. Came double boxed. Hope this review will help someone deciding.

If you visit a site selling sports equipment in pounds sterling you may foolishly think you are buying from the Uk !
Unfortunately if you buy from this company you will actually pay around 20% more than Uk prices .
Read all reviews not just the positive , there’s a reason they are getting 1 star , buy at your own risk .
I didn’t even receive an apology which probably would have calmed me , instead I’m being portrayed as the person in the wrong .
It seems to me like they are intent on committing commercial suicide by the way they treat customers .

Good buy
I qas kind of hesitant at forst to buy, due to the few bad ratings
However the pricwpoint on the shows was great and I therefore purchased anyway.
Delivery was 9 days from putting in the order.
One thing that was annoying, was that I recieved a tracking number, but this states that the parcel is still in Italy but has just been recieved in Denmark, this goves unnessisary concerns.
All in all - would for sure buy again!

I ordered a pair of shoes, North Face Vectiv Pro. I paid for them using my debitcard. Two days later I get an email telling me the order has been cancelled to to that the shoe is no longer available. I then sent an email using another personal email to their custumor support and they say ”Yes we have the shoe in stock”. I have not got my money back yet.

Never had such a poor experience
Never had such a poor customer service experience. Issue with my padel racket after only 3 months. Waiting for a solution now for almost 2 months where the Runkd customer service keeps saying they are waiting for their supplier to answer and they can't do anything. Purchase and logistics where fine but as soon as you have any issues their service is the worst I've ever experienced.
