I have stored my precious possessions (clutter) with Safestore (Portsmouth) for more years than I am prepared to admit. Julian (the manager) has always been very helpful - but today I received exceptional service from Lucy. She went the extra mile - arranging for me to move to a larger unit at a very reasonable price. Because I am disabled, she also arranged for someone to move my stuff - that very same day. God bless you Lucy.
I can highly recommend Safestore Portsmouth if you want reliable service and secure storage.

I'm an NHS worker who needed safe clean and reliable storage for a long period of time, I stored my belongings all neatly washed and boxed up I was supposed to be contacted if my children went to the unit without me (this was not done on 3 occasions) my boxes were chewed through in the 6 months of storage and multiple irreplaceable items were ruined beyond repair the closing balance was supposed to be £1:500 and I have since had to remove my items I was told a week and given 3 days then I received a bill from safestore debt company suggesting I was in debt of £4:500, I have spoken to a solicitor and they have informed me that I should sue the company for unfair pricing lack of safety of my belongings due care of handling of my property DO NOT USE SAFESTORE PORTSMOUTH FRATTON WAY the staff are INAPPROPRIATE AND RUDE they DON'T INFORM YOU UNTIL THE BILL IS TO HIGH TO AFFORD the SPECIAL NHS DISCOUNT DOES NOT EXIST as everyone can see their lame reply which is complete nonsense I have proof and video evidence of vermin and their dropping which have been forwarded to my solicitor and the main safestore complaints department who are looking into it

I made an enquiry into your services and since, I have been getting calls daily, including on a bank holiday monday and weekends. I have emailed and asked them not to call, but they continue to do so. This is harassment.

I Can’t recommend enough the helpfulness and willingness to help customers at Safestore Fratton Park Southsea Portsmouth Hampshire. Very clear and good communication about the contract.

I don’t have my own transport but l live local and asked if l could use their trolley to load numerous boxes which made life so much easier during stressful moving period.

Mason was great from start to finish spoke to him on the phone to book storage and again when emptying storage at the end of my term he couldn’t be more helpful especially knowing we were having problems with having things picked up on time. Highly recommend

DO NOT USE SAFESTORE
I rented a storage unit, in February, and was told that i could not get an NHS discount and a long term discount on the same rental so i opted for what i thought was NHS discount i even provided my ID, now when i tried to close my account i am being told that i am in a long term contract and cannot leave until January 2025, this does not say this in the contract i signed and now i am trying to close my contract, all the staff do is say we told you this and ont the phone , as if thats legal and binding which makes it my word against theirs, i have seen other reviews and similar issues are occuring, DO NOT USE safestore they are very unprofessional, i will update the outcome of my complaint on here

Great service from Danny very helpful, all my questions answered clearly and succinctly. As made my decision to the idea of storage very clear. Look forward to visiting the facility tomorrow.
