I placed an order in July and the payment was taken using Visa Debit. The item purchased did not arrive and no response to any emails or phone calls.
So.……….
At the beginning of September, I rang Citizen's Advice. They have passed this to Trading Standards for investigation and issued a case ref number. In the meantime they advised;
1. Send Safety Marine a tracked paper letter "recorded delivery" demanding the goods or a refund.
2. if still no response contact the customer services of the Visa Debit card issuer. All the big ones are part of an insurance scheme to cover this sort of problem.
I did all of the above and have just been refunded by my card issuer (Halifax)
As with others on this thread, do not use this company. Order placed which was never fulfilled, despite my payment having been processed. No response to email or telephone calls. This is either a company that is a complete shambles or they are nothing other than fraudsters. Either way, don't waste your money!
I ordered a quick chain counter sensor kit a week ago. Paid online and had a confirmation but I have had no response to follow up emails or phone calls and no advice that the goods have been despatched.
I wish I had read the earlier feedback before I ordered. I would not have dealt with them.
There is no response from them and no service either.
I will not deal with this company again and I recommend that anyone reading this does not do so either.
Do not use this company. Ordered £1000 windlass. He took the money and I haven’t heard a word since. Will be going to police . Fortunately used a credit card so hopefully will get money back. The guy on the end of the phone is knowledgeable as are all con men
