I ordered a delivery with chop chop the fast delivery, I ordered, paid my shopping was packed and picked up by a delivery driver, he never came to my address instead sent me random texts that he was going to cancel my order,he asked me to go outside, I live in a first floor flat and it was cold outside, he was nowhere in my carpark, he cancelled my shopping, when I rang customer services they said I'd get a refund within 5 days but if I wanted my shopping would have to re order and pay again! I didn't have enough money to do that.
After many calls to customer services and being given head office numbers that don't exist and speaking to countless customer service personnel I asked fir a transcript of my calls, still waiting and don't expect to get, Sainsbury's is the worst customer service that I have ever come across,

No care for the customer

Parking eye issued a fine to my mother in October 2023. We supplied evidence of payment made and the ticket issued (with an incorrect reg by their machine). PE still chasing and harassing my 87 year old mother, who has a pacemaker, by phone and lettter via their debt collection agency. Wrote to Simon Roberts, CEO of Sainsbury's. His office said that parking is a separate matter that they do not involve themselves with. Head office apparently have a parking department, but it still took the executive officer more than a month and a half to find this out from them. There must be extremely l9ng corridors at head office and very little basic technology, like phones We can find no evidence of the email that this officer allegedly sent my mother informing her of this inability/unwillingness/lack of interest to get involved. The line given to me was that there is no relationship between parking eye and Sainsbury's, despite the car park being used by their customers, and the indisputable fact that Sainsbury's use this car park to 'park' (sic) their trollies.
This is the worst attitude to customer service that I could imagine. What care? What support of the local community? What customer service?
I am beyond disgusted!

Sainsbury's Delivery - No show

I ask myself how much does it cost to make a phone call to a customer???
Had a delivery booked for today and to my surprise no delivery made to me even though they charged me.
When the time elapsed for my delivery I contacted the helpline who advised me after speaking to the Calcot Store they knew it was not going to be delivered as they had issues outside the store stopping the vans departing. So why didn't someone pick up the phone to let me know?
Very poor customer service. I think I will sticking with ASDA in the future.

I think most people are aware that…

I think most people are aware that inflation is currently just over 2%. Why then, are Sainsburyprices rising at a rare qell above 2%? I noted that Sainsbury's own plain chocolate bar is now priced at £2.60. This is outrageous! Not so long ago this same bar of chocolate was £1.60! Other prices have risen by well over the inflation rate, another example being oat milk what is going on? This is sheer profiteering and should be stopped.

Seriously

Seriously
I don't buy ANY FOOD from sainsbury or any other supermarket anymore because of cost and low quality ingredients half portion sizes but I need things like flour and pet food etc.
Honestly today had zero cake or icing mixes absolutely nothing it was all out of stock 8 items for baking missing.
I mean it's a f"""n joke.
Why not mark it out of stock or even better if you know your catering for the masses Why not have any f"""n stock?????
Every time I shop on line you always have at least 8 to 15 items missing and I don't even buy food.
I'm telling everyone to boycott supermarket chains until they start looking after customers again and go grass fed and support farmers loads deliver now and it's the freshest meat you will ever eat.
You can buy potatoes and veg on line now to and farmers need your support more than ever.
They want to end farming and bring in 3d printed meat with absolutely no goodness whatsoever.
People are even eating plant based b.s and I've seen that chemically based cr@p being made and it's far from being anything plant.
Stand up for yourselves uk 🇬🇧 if you don't you are going to regret that decision.

Where's the 12 pound discount codes 🤔

Where's the 12 pound discount codes 🤔

I've not received one since opening my account 3 months ago.
Customer service says you only receive a welcome 12 pound voucher and that's it.
On my last account with them I received loads so that's a lie.

I don't buy food from any supermarket anymore I buy my meat from farmison & Co beautiful fresh meat delivered to your door.
The chicken is unreal no water still fresh even has blood in the packaging from how fresh it is.
Mince beef beautiful and tender and safe.
If you buy supermarket meat it's full of water and the Mince comes from over 100 cattle which isn't good and the meat comes from farms that treat animals terribly so they suffer trauma which you then eat that trauma which has no goodness to it at all.
Buy from farmer's they need all the help they can get right now.
Yes it's more expensive but it's a small price to pay to feel safe and happy with what is going in your body.

Supermarkets are absolutely disgusting now giving low quality ingredients smaller portions at double the price.
Make a change people it's up to you before we lose everything to greedy supermarket chains only we can change things.

Robbers and thieves with sell by dates only a day left to use the food's.
Vegetables are soft and only lasts a few days when they should last for a few weeks definitely not British products like they say.
I've spoken with farmer's who tell me none of it is British they just slap on a label like red tractor and we fall for it.
Take back control only we can change things if we don't it's on your heads for putting up with it.

Must be the worst supermarket I’ve visited since visiting Russia back in the 80’s !!! . Vegetables were not fit for human consumption, I wouldn’t feed them to animals , dried up soft boxes of carrots, parsnip, garlic and ginger with zero moisture in them! Courgettes were eaten by some snail or something! Shame on you Sainsbury’s !! . Spoke to duty manager who said he will remove all items but why are they on sale ! Blood in the chicken display counter … horrendous.. avoid at all costs

For the attention of CEO Simon Roberts

For the attention of CEO Simon Roberts. On visiting your store at Pontyclun mid Glamorgan s.wales I was just in the store for a matter of a few minutes and I was met by two young security guards that asked me to a-company them to the office to receive a ban from Sainsbury’s in total shock I promptly put my shopping basket down and followed these two young guards to the office and as we entered it I was offered a seat while one of these young chaps left the room and in about five mins reappeared with a open letter to myself stating the details of my ban. I got out of my chair and I asked them what am I getting banned for and he said that all the details are in the letter and picked it up and offered it to me to take with me’ I said that I don’t want it because I’ve done nothing wrong and one of them said that I was making some of the staff feel uncomfortable wile hanging around near the fridges when shopping’ I stated that I was waiting for a chance to use the fridges and nothing else, the to guard were probably just the messengers I think as they were not prepared to listen to anything that I had to say and asked me to leave the store with them, they were very insistent on making sure that they both escorted me right off the property and walked me right up to my car witch was parked quite a way up into the car park and insisted that they take a picture of my numberplate off the car. The whole experience has left me feeling “completely dehumanised and shocked” +++don’t trust this company to keep you safe while visiting their stores+++

Disgusting Customer Service at Sainsbury's Fulham. Surly unhelpful staff member, calls for security when I asked to speak to his manager, then falsely accused me of swearing at him! Security staff member unable to call for manager. Came to do my weekly shop, got treated like some criminal. Disgraceful, disgusting service does not deserve any custom at all!

Went to the Marshall Lake superstore…

Went to the Marshall Lake superstore last week Thursday night & encountered the rudest staff i've ever met. He was an old guy who at first comes up to me when i was having issues with the scan which was beyond my control & was helpful. Then i was having other issues (not my fault) then i could see he was getting irritated with me. I said don't worry i'm trying to leave soon as i can in a jokey way & he said, yes & the rest of the store wish you would. I felt so embarrassed at his comment. Then i couldn't log into my Nectar account & was standing there for ages trying to get a wifi signal. The whole ordeal put me off going there again. Having spent nearly £80, i don't expect to be treated that way. No matter how may times a customer needs your help, do not be rude.

Don't trust Food to Order

Part of Sainsburys mission statement is to be the 'most trusted'. How on earth they are ever going to achieve this is beyond me. We placed a 'food to order' order to cater for a big family event. They willingly took our money and made us feel we could trust them. However, less than 24 hours before the event they emailed us to say they would not be fulfilling the order and gave us a gift card to spend in their stores. This left us short of any cash to go anywhere else to get food and do it all ourselves. Luckily family chipped in and a trip to Costco saved the event. But despite making countless complaints and phone calls for an explanation, no one has called us back as promised. The 'help' number is a call answering agency based in another country and look for any excuse possible not to escalate the issue. One person did try to transfer us but there was no reply. She said she would ensure someone called us back but it is now five days later and nothing.

You sold me chicken breasts absolutely…

You sold me chicken breasts absolutely pumped full of just ridiculous amounts of water, just totally absurd. (The past two occasions) you could see just by looking at them, very unusually strange and the surface tension of the chicken looked so obviously bursting with pressure from water within.

It resulted in an absolutely disgusting texture!! If I had wanted water, I would have simply bought bottled water instead, but, I wanted chicken!

The pan was so flooded with water trying to fry it up, and even trying to oven cook - the texture was just plain wrong and not at all like chicken! (Even with a long bake time). Utterly wrong and disgusting. You wouldn’t think these had come from what I used to consider to be a reputable brand name supermarket, not at all.

No joke, quite literally an Olympic swimming pool’s volume of water, came out of my pack of chicken breasts after butterflying and oven roasting them, utterly disgusting!

Sainsbury’ food to order is not to be trusted

Ordered Sainsbury’s food to order 20 days ago for party tomorrow lunchtime. Was due to pick up in morning but was just told it’s cancelled due to “Technical issue” - not even 24 hours notice. Appalling service. Been shopping Sainsbury’s for as long as I can remember not any more. No customer focus whatsoever. Left me just couple of hours to go and buy buffet food for 60 people. So much stress and anxiety on what should have been a happy day. Had my money over £250 for 10 days but left it to the eve of pick up to cancel it!!

Awful chat experience

Awful chat experience, wasted 20 minutes trying to get my old mobile number updated on the system only to be told to ring the helpline, asked absurd questions like when did you first register your nectar card and how did you take it! (assume they meant how was it received/collected) Then had a "back and forth" rant with the call handler Triparna Neogi who was rude and passive aggressive with various comments. Customer service!!! What a joke. Don't bother contacting them just call the number on the back of the card which takes you through to the same call centre in a land far far away!
