Rated 1 out of 5 stars

worst customer service I’ve experienced

By far the worst customer service I have received in my life. I’ve been waiting for months for them to exchange a tablet, which controls the heating. Sauter has been absolutely unresponsive and nobody seems to feel accountable.

The worst company in the world, bar none

It's not a judgement I pass lightly to their products of "home automation", yet the degree of pure incompetence that goes into making a product this bad is grand on a historical scale.

Have you ever came across something really expensive you cannot get rid off that just doesn't work at all? Say hello to Sauter home automation, together with a big round of applause to LandSecurities, for picking the world's worst home heating system supplier.

- Their home thermostats have no hope of ever working, they get the temperature entirely wrong. Compared with many other products I've bought just for the purposes of testing theirs, Sauter is 100% consistent and 100% wrong. 24 celsius you say? How about 27 instead?

- Their app is so incredibly bad it can only be the product of someone systematically and willingly trying to take their own life by repeatedly smashing their head on the keyboard. Not only they are too incompetent to produce a stupid slider or a button and you actually need to press 3 times to edit a number, therefore creating the worst user experience in application history, since the '60s terminals, it also consistently fails to perform any action at all, and remains consistently useless from the day the system is installed until the day you finally decide the expense of having their stuff completely replaced is worth it.

- They are using unlicensed plugins to facilitate their application because they refuse to do things legally and pay for their software like everyone else, which is causing the app to consistently malfunction, so it's entirely unusable. Want to change the temperature in your home? Good luck, here's a permanent red error screen for you!

- They take 0 responsibility for their actions and they have the audacity to demand a stupendous day rate simply to come fix their own broken crap. They send people over which will do absolutely nothing, and break your stuff even further, just because they insist on using other people's software illegally.

Few things in life have managed to push me so far into writing reviews like this, but it's companies like Sauter portraying the very epitome of human incompetence, devouring any shade of quality product like a violent cancer. I don't know how any of those people working for them have the guts to sell a single product, when they know just how bad it is.
