My husband had SMP 10 years ago and not knowing any different I thought that it was a fairly good job. Over the years, as it was meant to fade all it seemed to do was change colour slightly and some areas of pigment just spread into one another, I still thought it looked OK, but my husband was not happy with it for a long time and wouldn't go out without a hat on. When he decided he was going to do something about it and he found Scalperfection, he was still unsure in case he ended up with another bad job, but the photos and reviews were excellent so I was totally on board with him having it redone. It took a lot of patience having the previous SMP lazer removed as it seemed to have been done with ink that didn't want to budge, but Grant got rid of it and was then ready to start the treatment. After the first session, when my husband got home I have to say I was completely amazed at just how realistic it is, I never would have thought it was possible to make it look as real as it does. Now that the treatment is finished, it looks so real, it has taken years off him and his self confidence is back, and no more hats thank goodness!! Grant has a real skill and if you are considering having this done I would not think twice about going to see him, my husband was nervous due to the terrible job he had done last time but he worried unnecessary as quite honestly, I never would have thought it could look so realistic.

A massive thanks to Grant at scalperfection! I had a bad smp treatment and lived with hats for 10 years, I spent years researching and met other practitioners who did not inspire any confidence at all, then I found the best, Grant! An extremely professional educated approach to meet all my needs removing my old smp which was deep in my scalp but Grant managed to remove it with zero damage to my scalp. The smp treatment itself, oh my goodness I can't tell where my own hair is and where smp begins, that's how good it is! I can't praise his expertise enough! If you are looking into getting smp and you want it to look real as it should get to scalperfection you will be glad you did!

Absolutely made up with the results post SMP. I think it’s the best treatment I’ve ever spent money on. I wish I’d come by Grant and Scalperfection sooner.

After my 3 sessions it looks so natural, I can’t find the line between the SMP and my own hair. It’s flawless! Grant has blended it in seamlessly (I only grow hair around the sides, nothing on top). I was never overly conscious about balding before but since having the treatment I’m up on another level of confidence. No longer needing such an extensive hat, cap and beenie collection.

As for the procedure, no issues at all. Grant made me feel totally comfortable and explained everything. We had a some good chats, coffee and kind of enjoyed the relaxing posture position of the treatment chair. No pain during or after the procedure. Totally superb! If you are thinking about having SMP definitely link up with Grant… it’s an art-form and he’s got it mastered.

It's been 3 months since my last treatment with Grant and I continue to be blown away with the results. The treatment has been subtle enough for people to almost not notice but very noticeable to me. Even upon closer inspection, the results appear very natural, understated and very satisfying. I took the decision to do this on a whim and am very very glad i did. I cannot speak highly enough of Grant. He is a top bloke who makes you fee very comfortable. I really looked forward to my visits to Norwich and can honestly say I was lucky enough to receive treatment from the best. I would thoroughly recommend Grant to anyone.

Two and half years on.. have never looked back. Recent touch up just to add a little bit more.. Grant always listens and finds the time.. even though he practically works 24/7 to his detriment.

The mental angst.. the constant self annihilation in the mirror.. all gone years ago now. I didn’t need to do it to ‘complete’ or ‘change’ my life.. I was happy before.. but the decision took my self confidence to another level and life is so damn good now.. settled in a fabulous relationship and enjoying my family to the fullest. You kinda realise what you weren’t quite before AFTER you’ve done it.

Other than shaving my head every few days.. which I love doing btw.. love the feel.. and applying a mattifying moisturiser (important to me).. I don’t think twice about it anymore. Sure.. I still love my beanies and baseball caps.. but it’s to keep my head warm or sun off it now.. not to hide from the world.

So.. if like me a few years ago.. you’re constantly beating yourself up about it.. becoming overly self conscious and obsessed about it.. just do it! Take the leap of faith with Grant.. you won’t regret it. Life is short.

Not once did he try to oversell or push products or services, which immediately built trust—especially important when undertaking something as significant as SMP.

Grant tells me about how some of his clients receive poor SMP laser removal treatments and end up having to come to him to get it removed properly and I can’t imagine how disheartening that process must be.

I have been living with poorly done SMP for over 5 years after going to two different ‘artists’ which has really affected my confidence and mental wellbeing.

I have considered having the SMP removed previously but dubious after speaking to a couple of companies.

As soon as I came across the Scalp Perfection Instagram I knew it was the right place for me to proceed with the tattoo removal.

From the first conversation I had with Grant my mind was put at ease and he went into plenty of detail explaining the full process.

I have been today to have my first removal session and am over the moon with the results. Grant carried out the work in a lovely, clean studio where he is located and from start to finish I knew I was in great hands.

I recently completed my Advanced Beginners course in Scalp Micro Pigmentation with Grant at Scalperfection and it was such an enjoyable and great experience. From start to finish, the training exceeded all my expectations and wished I had reached out to Grant sooner.
