Two and half years on.. have never looked back. Recent touch up just to add a little bit more.. Grant always listens and finds the time.. even though he practically works 24/7 to his detriment.

The mental angst.. the constant self annihilation in the mirror.. all gone years ago now. I didn’t need to do it to ‘complete’ or ‘change’ my life.. I was happy before.. but the decision took my self confidence to another level and life is so damn good now.. settled in a fabulous relationship and enjoying my family to the fullest. You kinda realise what you weren’t quite before AFTER you’ve done it.

Other than shaving my head every few days.. which I love doing btw.. love the feel.. and applying a mattifying moisturiser (important to me).. I don’t think twice about it anymore. Sure.. I still love my beanies and baseball caps.. but it’s to keep my head warm or sun off it now.. not to hide from the world.

So.. if like me a few years ago.. you’re constantly beating yourself up about it.. becoming overly self conscious and obsessed about it.. just do it! Take the leap of faith with Grant.. you won’t regret it. Life is short.
