It's disappointing that the company doesn't respond to emails; delivery is generally fast. However, this time, one of the samples leaked, and the bubble wrap was covered in the liquid. Order #19384

Arrived late, no contact with the company and product itself smells diluted
First off the product arrived 10 days late. When I emailed to company to ask what was going on I received no response, when the product came all the fragrances smelt extremely faint, becoming a skin scent within in seconds. DO NOT BUY!
These are definitely not decant
These are definitely not decant. I had original samples of Idole Nectar & Libre Intense, and ordered samples of the same from scentsamplesuk to compare (attracted by Ss-UK prices). Ss-UK samples are much paler in colour (see photos) and although they smell similar to the OGs, don't have the creamy top notes/opening, instead there are harsh notes a bit like a harsh vanilla essence or harsh cream soda. The perfumes have definitely been diluted with some harsh-smelling chemical that eliminates the creaminess but maintains some of the OG DNA. Shysters. If a load of 5-star reviews follow this one, that is them trying to drown out the bad reviews including this one). Definitely not genuine.
Don’t waste your money
Ordered 4 samples for £30 and they’ve gone in the bin. The £10 Jo Malone sample smells like hairspray absolutely stinks, I sprayed myself with it & had to wash it off it was that bad. Some others are off too and one has a slight smell of something. In my opinion these are either being watered down or using really old off perfume or fake perfumes.
Maybe 10% perfume content.
Bought a 5ml sample of Baccarat Rouge for £12. It doesn’t smell of anything at all. It’s basically pure alcohol with the faintest smell of some sort of unidentifiable perfume. Lesson learned!
Didn't receive all my samples
Didn't receive all my samples, tried to contact customer service several times to no reply at all. All the samples smell watered down and don't even last a minute which i know for a fact shouldn't be the case for a lot of the perfumes I ordered.. please stay away
I thought it was strange that the price…
I thought it was strange that the price was so good and it's because the product is massively diluted. You could hardly smell it compared to the real product. Very disappointed. I ordered from them as money is too tight to buy a whole bottle and I've just been scammed.
Satisfied customer …
Have been buying from them for more than three years now and all the samples were genuine. Reasonable pricing as well.
They sell not genuine parfumes
They sell not genuine parfumes, I ordered 4 and they all smell like fake ones, really really far from original. The smell last for 2-3 hours , and I have the original of that 4 parfumes which can keep the smell on my cloth more than a month!
I have been buying fragrance samples…
I have been buying fragrance samples for some years now and am convinced that the samples I purchased from Scent Samples are either diliuted in some way or are not genuine. The website looked legit but I should have known better. I should have read the other reviews and I should have realised the prices were a bit too good to be true, for higher quality niche fragrances. Will NEVER use again.
I ordered a sample of Xerjoff Naxos and…
I ordered a sample of Xerjoff Naxos and it smelled really odd, so I went to a shop to see if they smell similar but it was completely different.I am very disappointed with this company and please don't buy from this company.this is ridiculous!
Should’ve read the reviews before…
Should’ve read the reviews before purchasing. They don’t send email confirmations and there’s no way to contact them. I do not recommend. Save yourself the stress!
FAKE FAKE DILUTED WITH OIL!!!!!
Don’t order from this company, all FAKES and WATERED DOWN WITH OIL!
I have ordered so much this year before I realised I have been buying fake perfumes which are watered down with oil. I’ve been able to compare some of the scent samples I have purchased with the same perfume I already have or have compared in the shops, I can see that the colouring and smell is way off and also very oily when sprayed on the skin. No projection what so ever, even tho some were meant to be beast mode!
The seller doesn’t respond back to emails, the worst customer service I’ve ever received from a business! Thought it was a legit site, I should have realised with the prices being too good to be true.
Don’t be fooled by this company save your money and research other companies to order your samples off! Use Fragrance Samples UK very reliable as you can see when you read the reviews.
Just straight up wrong what this seller is doing watering down the perfumes with oils to make more money! How do you sleep at night knowing you’re scamming people!
Please don’t risk spending your money on this company!
No Response
I had an issue with my order after finding a defective bottle in the batch. Despite sending emails I’ve received no response it’s been weeks. Looking at how many other people faced the same experience, it seems clear this company will take your money but should anything go wrong they have no intent on helping to resolve. I will not order from them again.
Do not use this company
Do not use this company. I have not received my full order. I have sent several emails but have had no response. I found a telephone number but this is not valid. I am now a victim of fraud. Hopefully if other people read this they will not lose money like I have.
They don't respond to your messages and…
They don't respond to your messages and seem to have stopped even replying to feedback. Paid days ago and it says next day delivery upon full payment which is not true. You just buy and hope you get something. have ordered before and got what I thought was a good heads up that I don't like the fragrance but since visiting a department store i see some smell nothing like the actual scents! and some were obsolete so can't check but the seeds of doubt have been sewn.
Ordered Xerjoff Torino 22
Ordered Xerjoff Torino 22 before checking reviews. Pretty sure it smells the same but I’ve sprayed it on card against the original that I had a tester strip of, needs to settle a while but If I don’t return to edit this review it was legit 👌
Avoid!!!
I purchased a 20ml sample of Baccarat Rouge 540 but didn’t try it until a few weeks later. When I finally did, I noticed it doesn’t resemble the scent of the original fragrance. I’ve owned the original before, as well as an inspired version, and even the inspired version smells closer to the real thing than the sample I received.
The original fragrance lasts for days on clothing, but your sample faded within 20 minutes and required constant reapplication. This raises serious concerns about authenticity. Charging full price for what appears to be an imitation is unacceptable.
I emailed your customer service on 1/12/24 but have yet to receive a response, which adds to my suspicion. Ignoring customers with valid concerns is disappointing and unprofessional. I won’t be making any further purchases here, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company.
Fake Sample
As the perfume I was looking to purchase was quite expensive and I’d never tried it I decided to blind purchase a sample instead. It arrived and I rather liked it so went ahead and bought a bottle of the original fragrance from John Lewis. When this arrived from John Lewis it was very different (albeit gorgeous) to the sample I’d received from Scent Samples showing that this company is selling fake fragrances. Will definitely not be using this company again and will use reputable companies that I have received genuine samples from in the past.
My order didn’t come
My order didn’t come, no tracking info provided and no response to any of my messages to them - don’t recommend at all
Fake samples
I ordered two samples (10ml travel size), one of Creed Aventis and the other of Creed Green Irish Tweed. Neither smelt very good - the Aventis smelt like it's an old perfume which had past it's sell-by date.
These two are meant to be high-quality, higher-end perfumes, but I doubt if the samples I got from this company are genuine.
Will not be using them again.
