The webshop and the logistics behind were just perfect. In the past few months I ordered many gifts through the Schleich webshop and had them sent directly to family members in Germany. Everything worked great and the packages arrived within 1-2 days. Great service!

Can't cancel an order after 1 hour
I placed an order and decided I really didn't want it. I contacted them within a few hours. The order wasn't processed but they refuse to cancel it. They expect you to receive the order and then ask them if you can return it and maybe they'll give you a refund.

Not only are their toys top quality, but so is their service.
The first time I contacted them, it was after I bought the newly released stone monster for my son. For some reason, this toy's arms were very squeaky and stiff, and eventually, one arm broke after a month. Outside of the usual 28-day return period, I contacted Schleich who sent out a brand new stone monster at no cost.
Second time: my 6 year-old son spoke to a lady on the phone, and in a very cute manner, asked her about the Stone Skeleton, to which she said was no longer in development, and sensed that this disappointed my son. She asked him if he liked a different model, to which he said 'Blizzard Bear'. What did she only go and do? She only went and sent a Blizzard Bear to us free of charge! Talk about amazing service and compassion. The lady who did all of this was Sahdia Khan. Thank you again, Sahdia!

Unethical and toxic work environment. Would never recommend to anyone.
1. To begin with, the company does not provide any help or facility or reimbursements for relocation/accommodation.
2. The departments do not work in unison and there is a lot of internal politics. The onboarding process is nonexistent and unclear. One needs to arrange for KT sessions by themselves.
3. No mid-term assessment with new joiners. HR only listens to the existing team without hearing anything from new joiners/fresher.
4. Constant threats about being fired in probation, absence of work culture, or communication. There was no exit interview that was held, the decision was communicated in a 5 mins meeting based on the feedback of a person who is to leave in another 2 weeks.
5. Create 'job vacancies' to fill spots for people on leave. As soon as someone joins back, the person on probation is laid off without any valid reason.
I ordered the large dinosaur station for my grandson. There were missing parts, however, all missing items were mailed to me within a week. I do recommend Schleich toys. My grandson loves the dinosaurs, and was thrilled with the dinosaur station, even without the missing parts. Now that all parts are in place, he is exstatic.
I ordered my daughter two Christmas gifts online during their Black Friday sale. I didn't get a confirmation email which I thought was weird so I checked my credit card transactions and couldn’t find any record of it. I phoned the company and found out my order never got placed. The person I spoke to on the phone told me my order was cancelled and she would put it back in. She told me to keep an eye out for a confirmation email which again I never received and still nothing showed up on my cc so I phoned back again and found out that the same thing happened AGAIN. By this time the sale was over and they wouldn’t honour the sale price despite the fact that I had provided the case number from my first phone call to them. They offered me a small discount code to use online, but by this point I wasn’t willing to deal with them any further. I received no emails about my 2 attempts to order, but I still receive plenty of marketing emails from them. What an absolute joke of a company!
Whatever you do DO NOT buy from Schleich direct online. They sent out a practically empty box, then the replacement parts weren't even the same range, they are rude, got my name, order wrong multiple times. It took me nearly three months from delivery to get it sorted and finally refunded and many many hours of my time.
Buy from a UK shop or the UK Schleich but NEVER from Schleich online appalling attitude and customer service.
There website is horrible, extremely glitchy! There customer chat is beyond annoying, the support people are absolutely no help! They keep telling me that they have sent my request to the appropriate team however won’t let me speak to the appropriate team! So much BS! I have talked to 3 people on the phone who just tell me the same thing as the online support people! I will never order from this company again! Beyond disgusting customer service!
Recently bought a toy helicopter for our son. The rotor blade broke after a few weeks and having contacted schleich customer services with a photograph, a replacement part was sent out at no cost. Thank you very much!
Absolutely disgusting service. Customer advisor extremely rude. I placed an order last night and after 30 minutes realised it was over £135 and I would be charged taxes and VAT at customs. I decided to cancel and was told last night that a request was put forward. There customer advisor line opened again this morning so I called to make sure this order would be cancelled and I would repurchase, splitting it into two orders to avoid duties. Spoke to Anika who at no point told me that this order was unlikely to be cancelled. Two hours later I call again as I am worried the items would be dispatched and then it would be too late to cancel. I was greeted by the most disgusting female who was abrupt and told me that she didn't have a manager when I told her I no longer wanted to speak to her. She said the order could not be cancelled and had no idea who Anika was?! Phoned again after hanging up on the very unpleasant advisor and got through to Anika who told me it could not be cancelled and just to refuse the order. This could take weeks now before I recieve a refund!
My son is disabled and only plays with animals. I have spent £££'s on Schleich but after this I will not be back. You have lost a loyal customer and I will be telling friends and family about my terrible experience.
Schliech wildlife.... Their horses are good but this ranger park is awful. They should see how 'Playmobil' do things.
The plastic used is cheap grade stuff. Putting it together is a nightmare as the components do not fit into the corresponding part. (and it's not that i'm incompetant either )

Really wouldn't bother ordering from Schleich. The whole experience has been really stressful. I ordered Christmas presents 4 weeks in advance accepting the 'few days' delay. However it took nearly 4 weeks to arrive. I ended up ordering from a local supplier as I didnt think it would arrive in time, who delivered it in a few days. Now I need to return Schleich's order which is honestly really not straight forward when you have to ship back to Germany! I followed all the instructions (you will need a printer) and then its been delivered back to my address! Hoping it does eventually arrive back so I can finally get a refund. Communication has been poor throughout. Support your more local businesses instead and get it a lot quicker with better communication.
I actually usually love schleich products and my little boy has lots of their animals and sets. However I put an order in weeks ago and subsequently received an email saying there was a delay but don’t worry, I would receive my order in time for Christmas. As it’s still not been shipped I emailed for an update and received a very dismissive reply saying they couldn’t give me an update and if it didn’t arrive before Christmas to refuse the package and it would be returned and refunded (that’s living in hope!). That’s not really helpful when it’s my 3 year olds main Christmas present and we’ve spent our budget on it!!
I’d say either buy the products from a shop or buy an alternative brand. Do not order online!
I live in Spain and I ordered three items way ahead of Christmas for my child. It has been weeks of waiting and, even though the company informed me twice that there would be delays, the items were shipped VERY late from elsewhere in the EU and not Barcelona as stated on their website, and they still have not arrived. I have in the meantime recieved parcels via Correos and private companies in a timely fashion, and the company seems to blame all its issues regarding tardiness on the carrier rather than themselves. The fact is that they processed my order over a week after I placed the order. Why?
I do appreciate that Schleich informed me of delays via email, but time is running out and I don't believe I will get my products before Christmas. Very disappointing service for such an established company. Especially since we are regular customers, although this is the first time we have bought from them online. I guess this is why people shop at Amazon?
I am 13 years old and I still have a huge passion for Schleich. Before I even found out about Schleich I was using the animals you get at the Dollar store. The Dollar store animals always broke and you cant even put them in the water 0/10. The Schleich were the most realistic animals I have ever seen! I have over 80 of them already. My parents don't buy me these unless It's my birthday or Christmas. I use my own money other wise. I know they are pricey I usually get them when they are on sail. Castle toys and Peavey mart are the two stores I buy them from. If you are a parent who has a kid who loves animals you should take the Schleich into consideration. I'm pretty sure your kid will love them. 5 stars!
Prices always seem to be on the high side for my liking, Good selection though.
Contacted them for replacement parts for the barn I bought because some of the pieces are broken. I emailed their customer service department 4 times now since Nov 15, 2019 with no response.
What is the point in having a “contact us” page if there is NO customer service?
Placed an order on the 13 April however I forgot to add an item so emailed to either amend or cancel the order. They have still not replied back to me today to apologise for a terrible service. I emailed them the 13 April, then again 15 April as I noticed they were dispatching it and then finally the 19th April to state my disappointment. I expected more from Schleich as a high quality toy company. Good products however make sure you never have to contact them.
