First they claim they have stock and if you order, they will take your money instantly. Only to show in your order that they have no stock. No ETA, no customer support to ask. Just black hole.
Faultless shopping experience.
I have purchased all of my PC peripherals from Scorptec.
All goods have arrived very quickly in Melbourne Metro area and have been very well packaged with 0 damage.
Customer support was also very prompt in answering a query I had.
I couldn't recommend Scorptec more highly.
Many thanks!

Good products but check the specs with manufacturer before buying.
I just wanted to say how disappointed I am in the service from Scorptec. I have been a Scorptec customer for many years, both in my business and personally, but I will not be returning anytime soon. Yesterday I purchased an LG smart monitor from your Clayton store. I specifically wanted a monitor with a built in webcam. The LG monitor has a detachable webcam and is the right colour. What I did not realise is there are 2 different models, one with a camara and one without. The monitor I purchased from Scoprtec did not specifically say the camara was not included and did say on the website that a webcam was supported. After picking up the monitor yesterday, I realised that there was not camera, and after spending 2 hours on 'chat' with LG, realised that the LG-32SR83U-W (which is what I brought) should have been the LG-32SR85U-W instead. I shared the link to the Scorptec LG-32SR83U-W with LG and they said that the information provided was incorrect and misleading. The LG description states there is no camera where as the Scorptec listing does not mention that. Given the similarities in the models, this can create confusion, especialliy when Scorptec listing says is supports a Camera (which you cannot buy seperately). All being said, I rang up Scorptec and arranged to return the monitor. I had only unpacked it for 3 hours, and then returned it the following day (today). To be charged 15% packing fee when I only had it open for a few hours and I am returning the item because your website is ambiguous and is not as stated by LG is beyond frustrating. I was told that the repacking fee was discretionary to a maximum of 15%, so to be automatically charged that when the item was repacked exactly as I brought it is both unfair and unwarranted. This transaction has cost me $123 and I will not be returning to Scorptec again. I will also be posting a message on the website to ensure people do their research as the listings used by Scorptec are not the same as the manufacturers and can cost people real money.
ex demo B760 MSI
Purchased an ex demo B760 MSI mother board product arrived quickly and packaged well.
I had questions regarding compabilty with 14th gen CPU and the staff were quick to reply and help with potential bio versions needed if PC didn't post. Overall very good service.
I also purchased DDR5 ram which then went on discount of $60 after i purchased it and they were happy to adjust the price before it shipped. Again excellent service.
Scorptec are becoming my new favourite PC store.
After other companies I won't name have let me down lately with service and willingness to offer support.
Scorptec has great customer service
Scorptec has great customer service. Whether its face to face support. Or Phone support, the sales staff is courteous and respectful of the customer. Unlike the Centre Coms Phone Sales support staff, which is rude and condescending. I bought significant item from both shop. However my last unpleasant experience talking to Centre Com Sales Phone Support pretty much sealed the proverbial centreCom sales coffin. So if you want great customer service talk to Scorptec. But if you want to be verbally abused with a dashes of frustration and irritation then Centre Com takes the cake.
Refuse to Return or Repair
On August 20th, 2024, I purchased a Fractal Design Define Mini C. Upon inspecting the item, I found that the front panel clip kit was faulty. I returned the product on August 21st, 2024, but the return or repair was declined. The model is 8 years old and was initially priced at $149, now reduced to $79 for clearance. No other retailers are selling this model, and the plastic component has become brittle and prone to cracking. CBA issued the refund via credit card dispute on 23rd August 2024.
They delete poor reviews and product questions
I purchased a wired earbud headset from Scorptec which had 1 positive review so far. The product description lists the headset as compatible with XBox but fails to mention the annoying hissing sound, the very short cable and lack of volume adjustment. These are expensive and useless to me now. Asking a question about the product was deleted by the merchant and review of the merchant and product was never published. This creates a significant lack of trust in this merchant. Will never use again.
Garbage systems with loads of problem
Garbage systems with loads of problem. I pretty much install nothing on my machine except games. I don't visit rubbish sites because it's important to me that my machine doesn't gather anything that causes its performance to degrade.
I've had relentless issues with blutooth devices and frame jitter with games to the point where I've pretty much stopped playing. Have spent countless hours trying to fix these problems instead of using it for the purpose I bought it.
My nephew bought a machine from there and has had the same issues. Their solution is it get you to leave the machine with them for up to 6 week. What
a joke!
Windows stuffing things up on you is challenging enough without throwing one of these garbage systems into the mix.
If you want to spend all of your time trying to get your machine to work properly, these are the systems for you.
I bought a PC from Scorptec
I bought a PC from Scorptec, around $8K. A few months in I started to have issues with the computer display going blank, and the case fans roaring. In the end, I sent the pc back under warranty, I took pictures of my pc prior to shipping it. During transit back to them, they claimed the pc sustained damage, and a leg of the tower was totally smashed. Despite me having photo proof of my pc, they wouldn't hear it, and charged me $400 for another case. I argued that to smash a leg off a pc, it had to be dropped in transit, I feel had legal grounds to fight these reeeeeetards, but what do you do, just a small fish. They ignored me when I said I had photos of my pc prior to shipping undamaged, ignored me when I asked to see the damage, and ignored me when when I asked what would become of the older pc tower. I really felt bullied by Scorptec. Funnily enough, the new computer they shipped, they lost my windows product key, as it was a sticker on the previous case. That was yet another debacle.
If there is a negative stars I would…
If there is a negative stars I would give it a minus 10.
I bought an LG widescreen monitor from Scorptec and didn't turn it on to use for a couple of weeks and was left in the box. When I finally got it mounted and ready to go, I noticed a swirly image at the center of the display on startup and when my computer wallpaper desktop was displayed, I got a massive vertical white bar which ended up was faulty blank displayed image near the center of the widescreen format. At first, I thought it was a minor glitch until I saw a tiny crack near the very bottom of the display panel. So I realized that I basically bought and received a damaged monitor. I went back to the shop and asked for a replacement but they stalled and refused and said they would get a manufacturers warranty and I should wait.
I thought that this is odd and that they should just give me a replacement monitor from their inventory like any other major store in Australia would do. But I agreed and because I had it for a couple of weeks already even though I haven't opened or tested it.
Unfortunately, I did have it for a couple weeks but never used it because I had to arrange for other things for that monitor due to its size.
Now why would a person who has spent a lot of money on an item be careless with handling a new prized purchase!! Ever watch an unboxing video on YouTube. I pretty much have the same care without talking to a camera.
Anyway, I think that it was either damaged at the factory or it was some sort of return that they discounted (because I only bought it on a discounted sale) and I was the unfortunate sucker to buy it. There was no sign of impact damage on the box or on the monitor shell, apart from the defect on the actual lcd panel. And I know there is no other way that the monitor could be damaged in my hands as I live alone.
Anyway, it has already taken 2 months since I bought it and I am still using my old trusty functional faultless 27inch monitor. No new widescreen monitor on my desk and Scorptec is now trying to weasel out of giving me a replacement or a refund.
Fortunately, I used Paypal to raise a dispute, but I am yet to see what will happen because I think Scorptec will try to say it is my fault. Its like they can sell damaged goods and get away with it.
2 years of good service
Fast delivery and quality products. I Haven’t ordered a lot of items but during the last 2 years everything was good.
Check their "policies" before buying
Mirroring JD's review - if it's not working for you, scorptec will slug you a 15% "restocking fee" - this is not disclosed during the purchasing process.
Check the return policy
Check the return policy! Warranty (if you are lucky) or hell if you mistakenly bought the wrong product and wanted an exchange or return. Will not use them again.
Had a GPU fail
Had a GPU fail four months after buying a gaming rig from Scorptec, their service and understanding has been amazing and professional, just found out today my GPU was fried and they replaced it with an even better one as my original is not sold anymore.
Thanks to the Scorptec team 5/5

I had a issue where I did not recognize a order or the name of the person on that order and i called up twice and never got any response and now I cannot log into my account and they still refuse to help me... Unbelievable.

Scorptec warranty handling is negligent and unnecessarily slow
If you have a warranty issue then look out. I had a failed MSI mother board which failed in just a couple of months. I tested for the fault which is exactly the test they would do in about 10 minutes. Took them 2 weeks to send the board to MSI and they wanted $99 to do that. I couldn't wait so I told them I want a refund and I bought another board so i could get back to business. They sent a replacement board after 26 days and refused my refund request. EDITED 28th May. Last week I was contacted by Scorptec HQ and they provided a full credit. If you have an issue take it to their head office in Victoria.
Don’t buy from this company they do not…
Don’t buy from this company they do not honour their warranty terrible customer service
Awful packaging
Awful packaging. Ordered two drives, they arrived in a timely fashion however the box had no "fragile" sticker of any sort. I know from experience that Aus post will throw and drop parcels that do not have any fragile notice on them. The hard drives were also sandwiched together with NOTHING separating them, no bubble wrap at all in between the drives. So their whole journey they are just bumping against each other. There was also such minimal bubble wrap that the edges of the drives were not covered by bubble wrap air pockets. Least you can do is double wrap hard drives when they are being transported. Especially considering how cheap packaging is.
Product was well priced but who knows how they will last given how poorly they were packaged.
The WORST customer service in the industry
I've been a customer for over a decade.
After seeing how disgraceful and dishonest they have treated my friend who purchased a faulty graphics card and then got a faulty replacement under warranty. Now they claim that the 9 month old faulty replacement is out of warranty and there is nothing they can do.
I will NEVER recommend or buy anything from Scoptec again!
The WORST customer service in the industry, simply not worth the risk. If anything goes wrong, youll be glad you DIDN'T buy from Scoptec.
