worlds Best Customer Servixe
Previously I was so disgruntled with SO Energy, they wouldn’t leave me leave when I got home as previous tenant had left arrears… as soon as I could I left and came across Scottish Power!
Such friendly people, people who listen, talk and can share jokes with and when I say listen they really do and they care. Factoring in the age of my young children, my epilepsy and if needed special arrangements around the utilities.
Such a pleasure to work with, I tell everyone about my experience with former supplier and say “if you’re looking at leaving your energy supplier… go to Scottish Power!”

I cannot stress enough to avoid this company
Moved out of property in March 2026, took and submitted meter readings that day, received and paid the final bill 2 days later. All this showed on my account.
Received a letter 2 months later confirming account closed.
2 months after that received a bill for £124.14 based on "estimated readings". Email sent to set Scottish Power straight. Received a response completely factually completely false, gaslighting and ignoring the actual meter readings and final payment I'd made 4 months earlier.
After havingto contact them again Scottish Power finally corrected their error - no apology, no compensation, no care.
This matches my previous experiences where Scottish Power's errors took months of phone calls and contacts to resolve.
