My experience at this company was very good. Myself and my partner received a fantastic service from Peter 😊 He was very helpful, friendly and efficient. Peter was also extremely informative, knowledgeable and patient! We needed time to find the right material and colour for our chosen sofa and did not feel rushed or pressurised by Peter. We were also impressed with the range of sofas ant SCS and the fact that you are able to choose from so many different colours and materials! The only disappointment with our overall experience is that all other companies we had already visited in search of a sofa could guarantee delivery before Christmas…unfortunately SCS could not match this and gave us a delivery date in January 2026. Such a shame as 5 stars all the way, until we discovered this news! However I would still highly recommend SCS and the lovely customer service received by Peter 😊

We were very impressed with the fantastic customer service we received when visiting the Croydon store. The sales assistant was attentive but not pushy and left us initially browse around and then helped us with our queries. Based on the feedback SCS has compared to other sofa companies, we decided to purchase one of their sofas. We got it delivered exactly when they said it would be ready (mid October) as they are made ofsite and the sofa looks fantastic and in great quality. Only had it for a few days so time will tell but so far so good. It is very comfy and reclines beautifully. A big shout out also to the delivery team (Neville and John) who were absolutely professional. They took great care in bringing it in without damaging anything, set it up and tested it too. I wish all delivery companies were like them. They work hard and do their job with a smile. Thank you SCS. I will definetely recommend your sofas to my friends and family.

Excellent experience in the Purley Way showroom where I was helped by Michael without being a pushy salesman. The product was delivered today by two very professional and respectful men, Stewart and Reece. Great care was taken and I'm very pleased with the service and product.

We ordered our sofa in June. Michael was our salesperson and he was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect sofa for our needs. The sofa was delivered on Friday - the actual day that was the ‘estimated delivery date’ given back in June, we were very impressed.
It’s an amazing sofa, really good quality and we love it. Thoroughly recommend SCS Croydon and have told all our friends and family about it!

Muhammad is an amazing ScS associate and he provided all the solutions to deliver my furniture through a very narrow door. His knowledge of sofas, the materials to bespoke your experience is nothing short of exceptional. He Evan planned for an upholsterer to dismantle my sofa and reassemble in my flat. I am totally satisified with my purchase, delivery and total experience. Thank you Mohammad for your help in exceeding my expectations.

From ordering in store to delivery can not fault the service. Salesman was a gentleman. Order was completed within the time frame. Delivery guys were efficient friendly and kept updated throughout. Sofa is lovely we are very happy with the purchase. Glad we came to SCS Croydon.

From start to finish the SCS Team have been friendly, knowledgeable, easy to deal with and all very proud of the quality of the products they are selling.
Delivery was well informed, efficient and all packing (the items very well packed) was taken away.
The delivery team made sure we were happy with the location of the sofas. The sofa bed had to be dismantled to get into location and this was dealt with efficiently.

Calvin was one of the most helpful, attentive sales people I've ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble and he was not fazed by our demands for small leather sofas. The other staff chipped in with their good ideas too. Although we ended up not buying a sofa from SCS in the end, I highly recommend SCS Sofas in Purley Way and Cavin in particular.

Shaun and Rich delivered my sofa with exceptional care and professionalism. They were courteous, efficient, and made sure everything arrived in perfect condition. It's clear they take pride in their work—couldn't have asked for a better delivery experience. Highly recommend!

The two men that delivered the sofa did an amazing job bringing the sofa inside our flat when it was such a tight squeeze.

A wide choice of sofa style and functionality, and all styles can be matched with any fabric.
Overall a brilliant experienc. This was the 5th sofa shop we visited that day and we bought there because of all the above, which hopefully says it all!

Never buy from SCS they lie to you they will tell you whatever they want. We had a fault sofa delivered it was dropped before even come to us. They denied everything and even in writing they put in a report. It was damaged on in transit yet they stll saying it’s our fault never ever buy from them again bunch of scammers. Now they won’t even answer emails

*EDIT re the response below: we have been waiting several WEEKS now for your store to call us back. Seems like no one at SCS will take responsibility for any aspect of 'service' whatsoever, given your response. I won't hold my breath for the store to call back, seeing as they haven't bothered responding to the 4 other voicemails left over the last few weeks.

Got a parking ticket outside the Purley Way store, after spending over 3 hours in store and spending over £2500 on a sofa. Have contacted SCS (to get it cancelled) by phone, left three voicemails, me and my partner have both contacted them on Facebook, they told me they can't speak to me because I'm not the account holder, so I asked them to respond to the three voicemails my partner has left, but the message has been ignored. My partner has also contacted them on Facebook, and they haven't bothered to respond. This doesn't bode well for our sofa order, which isn't due to be delivered until October, and we haven't heard a thing since paying a £500 deposit. May as well cancel the order at this point and go to a reputable company, as it seems they don't have a customer service team, or even person to respond. Looks like we will be driving back to Purley to cancel our order! Absolute joke.
It's a real shame because Peter in the Purley Way store was brilliant, and he's been let down by the back office staff.

All in all a fantastic experience. The showroom staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. The sofa we decided on in amazing - super comfortable and looks fantastic as well. The delivery team were great as well - we had texts and a phonecall ahead of their arrival, and the 2 guys that delivered it were very friendly and took care not to bump or knock anything as they brought the sofa inside. Thoroughly recommended!
