We were served today by the lovely Ian. He welcomed us and showed us around a few different sofas and talked to us about the differences and the offers. He was very helpful, in fact so lovey that we came back a few hours later after looking at other sofas to buy the one he suggested. Really could not fault his customer service. We’re hoping to get a matching arm chair in a few months time so will definitely come back to speak to Ian about getting this as he’s been so helpful today

Ian our sales guy was great. Very patient and helpful with the different fabric choice, sofa choices and helping us mix and match with what we required to suit our choice. Made it feel nothing was no problem.

Very polite and knowledgeable, put it where I asked them to, and went through how to use it..

When the furniture eventually arrived 5days after promised delivery date the 2 men on delivery were very diligent and polite and very helpful.staff at store on purchase were very helpful especially Robert Madden who was pleasant to deal with explaining everything we needed to know purchase wise

From the moment we stepped through the door and we were greeted by Charles (scs uddingstone) we received excellent service. He was knowledgeable, helpful but not overbearing. Exactly what you need! Looking forward to receiving our purchase

Avoid if you can. They aren't there when things go wrong, refunds take months or longer - still waiting for mine. Terrible service.

Really friendly and helpful. Knew a lot about the sofa showed us a wee hidden extra. That was a nice touch .

Delivery didn't go to plan, told sofa would be delivered between 10am and 3pm then specifically 1210pm and 1240pm, waited around all day, with no updates, until 630pm, when delivery finally took place, so not satisfied!

Every member of staff was relaxed .. informative and kind .the manager recognised me each time i was in store .. and not once made me feel under pressure to buy but instead helped me to feel relaxed too .. offering any help of i needed it .
Sandra was a delight to deal with.. and so helpful when choosing colours .. very knowledgeable about her products and easy and fun to speak to .
The delivery process was exceptional.. keeping me updated on the tracker .. making it easier to plan my day . and the delivery boys phoned me half an hour before arrival and delivered my new sofa efficiently and without any problems. they were kind courteous and respectful of my property

so different to experiences at other stores nearby . i looked at several sofas but the staff at SCS made me want to back there .

We visited the Birkenshaw branch and dealt with Sandra on a few occasions. She was very knowledgeable and helped us make our decision after answering many questions. She was also great with our 4 year old son and even gifted him a few items from the shop to keep him entertained while we browsed the selection in store. The sofa we picked is high quality and we were impressed with the amount of colour options available to us. Can’t wait to receive our new sofa, thanks again Sandra.

I visited the store at Birkinshaw and was given plenty of time to browse uninterrupted. When I had settled on 2 choices of sofa, Scott the sales assistant answered all my questions on fabric,size,delivery, payments etc. His knowledge was invaluable. Scott was extremely patient and not once did I feel rushed to make my choice. I had previously visited the Glasgow Fort branch but found the staff too pushy and condecending. Scott at Birkinshaw secured my order with his excellent service.

Ordered a Tizzolo suite from SCS in July 2025, delivered October 2025.

To be fair, the Snuggle Chair has been absolutely fine. My complaint has always related only to the 3 Seater Power Recliner.

Within around 4 weeks of delivery I reported issues including loud noises when reclining, cushions flattening, and decorative stitching/thread coming away.

An engineer attended in January 2026 and some work was carried out, however the problems were not fully resolved. We were then advised replacement covers were required, but the wrong parts were later ordered and sent.

As of today, the decorative stitching issue still remains unresolved, and the reclining noise is returning.

Most frustrating has been the aftercare experience. We have been passed back and forth between SCS and their repair agent Emeria Group, with each directing us to the other. We now feel we have exhausted all possible avenues simply trying to get an ongoing fault resolved.

Very disappointing experience after spending a significant amount on new furniture.
