Seamless customer service sucks
Seamless customer service sucks - they do not have any useful answers and just go around in circles telling you the same nonsense. I couldn't get a receipt for a group order that I paid for because it was "private information that seamless doesn't have access to." If seamless doesn't have this info - who does
If don’t mind getting ripped off by way…
If don’t mind getting ripped off by way over charging then this is the place for you. I ordered two pizzas at 17.39 each. The total with delivery, fees, taxes etc was just over 49. They charged my credit card 70.20. When I called them they said the pizza’s were actually 23 plus for each and I gave the driver a 11.00 tip. Nowhere on the site did it say anything about a tip. She told me you know there are hidden fees.
Cold pizza spend money for nothing
This company is a piece of garbage. I ordered a pizza in Queens New York, which not only came cold but was totally overpriced, this company is a total scam and their refund of some 7 USD is a joke anyways, as I will never reorder.
Thieves
Thieves. Should be a mins 5. I ordered online, the restaurant I ordered from does not use them, unable to cancel order. Called and was told it would be refunded to charge card. One month later, no refund. Stay away from this company!!
Account Continuously Blocked
Seamless is a nightmare when your address, neighborhood, or city changes semi-regularly. I have experienced several account lockouts over the past four years. But the app doesn't tell you this; it just suddenly and consistently tells you that your payment methods are invalid. I work in SaaS software engineering and I get it, they're trying to hide that they think fraud is occurring. But in 2023, it can't be that unusual to be in a new city every few months. And it takes an "escalation" to a department that is not immediate; it often takes several days to resolve. Well, their loss. I wonder how many people just give up when they experience this generic failure.
Never again
The original driver ate half my food before returning it to Sharky’s. Sharky’s called to let me know they were remaking it, but I should contact the third party to get a refund. What I’m irritated at is that I did and I do not feel anything was done. Their driver, Mike E, returned my food after they had it for about 20 min. Claiming they had a family emergency.
When we received our food from the second driver, they did not follow the instructions I left for them which was to call me when the order was there instead of leaving it in the lobby. Such a mess…never again.
Seamless/GrubHub is horrible
First off, I have used Seamless prior to them being bought by GrubHub. Ever since that occurred they have gone down the toilet. Drivers taking so much longer than they should, do not follow directions or do not even English. Why they even allow non English speaking drivers baffles me. When you contact customer service, you can spend 50-75.00 for an order and it be ice cold. The customer service rep will offer you 5.00 credit, then if you’re unhappy with that, 7.00. Which honestly doesn’t even cover the service fee they charge. It’s absolutely ridiculous how they have gone downhill. Use Uber Eats. So much better and better customer service.
Terrible delivery and customer service
I ordered from a pizza place 4 blocks away. The driver drove 40 blocks to get to me. The food was cold and gross by the time it arrived 45 minutes late.
I complained and was offered a $10 coupon for the next visit. I explained that i paid $20 for the service fee and tip. After 30 minutes on chat, they offered me $15 for my next order and would connect me to anyone that could help.
Waited 2.5 hours for delivery
Waited 2.5 hours for delivery. Called restaurant and was told that my order had been sitting there ready for over an Hour and half. Extremely poor service! Will not be using Seamless/Grubhub again!!
Order very delayed, dropped on porch, spilled everywhere
Order very delayed. When arrived, delivery person dropped it in porch, the Italian food spilled everywhere (I have pictures). Yet they make it impossible to give them feedback. Deleted the app !
NEVER AGAIN
We tried 3 times this year to order through seamless and all 3 times are order was EXTREMELY late, food was cold, and all that was done was to give us a $10 off future purchase discount.... no thanks. NEVER USE THEM. Customer service sucks.
Had to pick up food myself
Looks like I’m not the only one here that has experienced terrible service with Grubhub /Seamless. This is the second time that I had to go to the restaurant and pick up my food with a house full of company because Seamless did not follow up with the restaurant order. Not to mention both times I lost the $4.97 service fee. According to the restaurant many of their customers experience this same issue with Grubhub/ Seamless.
The food is always on time and if there…
The food is always on time and if there are any issue they are addressed immediately
They never deliver food or give…
They never deliver food or give refunds. This app is highway robbery! And because it’s a big business it doesn’t even care. Spend $40 for air. Literally received nothing and was told they don’t do redelivers and they can’t refund me. This company is thrash
Food was never delivered!
I ordered some health drinks from a juice bar and the delivery driver took 1hr 17min. to say he couldn't contact me on my cell, but made the delivery!! That'd never happened. When I contacted Seemless, they said they would cancel my order and issue me a refund. That never happened either! Contacted them again to inquire about my refund the next day and customer service rep. claimed that I signed up for a monthly subscription to Seemless+. Who would loose $41.00 and sign-up for monthly service which I have to pay for?? They refused to refund me my money. Do not trust them as reputable company when it comes to customer service because they suck at it! My experience was downright awful and trust me, I will use all of my social media sites to tell EVERYONE!!!!
They totally mark up the restaurants prices with no value add.
I placed an order for pickup not realizing I was ordering through an app that wasn’t the restaurant’s app. When I arrived to pick up my order I was looking at the menu at the counter and realized that seamless has jacked up the prices on most of the menu. Two of the items that I ordered were marked
Up $4 and $5. So in total I grossly overpaid for food that I was driving MY car and using MY gas to pick up. Had I known I never would have used this service and would have called the restaurant directly. I will never use seamless or grub hub again.
Ordered from a neighborhood restaurant
Ordered from a neighborhood restaurant. Received an email with an ETA of 45 min. Waited with no results. I logged back into the order and was informed the order was cancelled. Called the restaurant and was told the salad has been sitting there. I had to pick it up. No Phone Call From Seamless.
This company is worthless,will not…
This company is worthless, will not refund my money, very rude, customer relations are bad, they gave me a 25 food credit will not honor it,they need to be reported to the BBB,IM ADVISING the public to boycott and do not hesitate they don't care about there customers, just making MONEY
Seamless is protecting bad restaurants
Seamless is protecting bad restaurants. I have written several reviews over the last few months, almost exclusively negative ones, for restaurants screwing up orders, unilaterally adding additional charges the next day, cold food, late food, wrong food, etc.
When I go back to look, the restaurant only has a star rating and no written reviews are visible.
Why is Seamless protecting the bad, dishonest, incompetent restaurants on their platform?
