Our history

SECOM’s roots in the UK go back as far as 1918, when the family-owned Lodge Lock and Safe Company began providing security solutions.

Growth and acquisitions led to its re-emergence as the Carroll Security Group – a major independent electronic security company.

I think it is a waste of time

Always there is a problem with the system goes down few days ago the engineer was her to fit the part but he could have changed the batteries while here, but no few days later another one came to change them and charge me fees to do the job it is ridiculous..!!! what have 2 engineers out in space of couple of days.!?

The matter has been reviewed internally and our records show that the first attendance was for the call out however the second attendance was a planned maintenance visit which typically can take more time. This was the case on this occasion where the batteries were changed as part of the annual service. The second attendance forms part of your annual contract alongside other elements.

The technician was clearly very…

The technician was clearly very experienced. He knew exactly how to fix things straight away. Whilst I can't fault any of the technicians that come, this one is my favourite. Very efficient.

Experience counts

Your engineer, Chris, has visited on several occasions. He is always polite and helpful if any problems arise does his best to address the issues. His main concern is keeping the system working with minimum fuss for the customer. His extensive knowledge of the system is a bonus.

Same mistakes yet again!!

Repeatedly told customer services to give me at least 1 days notice of a service appointment and the first time i knew about it was a text to say we were the next job. Don’t understand why this simple request cannot be followed. Service was completed in about 15 minutes on a fairly large site with plenty of sensors etc is not very thorough either!! Poor
