The communication, response time and supportive interaction with the loss adjuster team was really helpful during a very difficult time. We had the same people dealing with our case who we were able to keep in regular contact with throughout.

Following storm Goretti in February we discovered after several weeks that 2 roof tiles had slipped and we consequently suffered a collapsed ceiling in our upper lounge. Although Aviva were quick to designate the claim to Sedgwick's it was a few days later that anything could be agreed and we were still suffering from storms so water continued to ingress. However, once we had stressed (in very strong terms) that we were not happy Sedgwick's took charge of the situation. Unfortunately, due to the possibility of asbestos everything was delayed and once this was confirmed it was delayed even further. However, Carly Conway of Sedgwick's was a real blessing and if this was just about her service then the rating would be 5 star - she could not be more understanding or empathetic to our situation and was constantly keeping us updated on what was happening. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of SCI group (asbestos analysis and clearance) or Total Repair Services (ceiling/roof repair) who, we believe, were not concerned about resolving our issue merely increasing the amount of work they could be employed to undertake at the expense of the insurance company. Neither would receive anything above 1 star rating - less if it were possible. With Carly's help and our own investigation we were able to source a local builder to resit the roof tiles, a local builder to repair and paint the ceiling and finally a local asbestos removal company that undertook the work for considerably less than were allocated under presumably the preferred companies by Sedgwick's. As we have said Carly was brilliant and very helpful but I do believe that large international corporations have lost sight of the benefits of letting local residents. who possibly have access to far more competitive solutions to a problem, be trusted to use their local contacts instead of relying on a supposed recommended larger company. As it has proved in our case, we have saved Aviva several hundred pounds if not thousands of pounds by sourcing the solution locally.

Very pleased with the company throughout the insurance repair process. My communications with Bev Rawlings were excellent and adequate. The actual repair work carried out by their selected contractor was completed quickly and to a good standard.

I highly recommend Jeanine, Paula, and Michael from Sedgwick. They handled my domestic water leak claim with the utmost professionalism. The team was very responsive, responsible, and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. If you want a team that gets things done, I would fully recommend them.

The personal friendly contact from Emma and Jasmine. They put our minds at rest and kept us updated throughout the four months. This was a difficult time, as we had to move into temporary accommodation whilst the work was being completed. Emma and Jasmine were not only friendly, but professional throughout, giving us support and replying quickly to every phone call or email, I would highly recommend Sedgwick, as these two employees are excellent.

Worst experience, we had a water leak under our kitchen floor, so when we phone the emergency admiral line, we expected to get an admiral plumber, we did not, they use a third party company (Sedgwick) who do not cover the finding of the leak, just the repair, the third party company then sent a plumber who charges by the hour, he’s put 3 holes in existing pipes which he then spent hours repairing before he moved on to the actual leak, it was a complete rip off from start to finish, admiral should change their company name to Blackbeard, you have been warned warned, you do not get what you think you have paid for until it’s too late.

I felt that the care, compassion, empathy and understanding that was extended towards me and the situation from the first point of contact was exemplary.
A very difficult experience has been made easier to bear and certainly easier to navigate, by the professional manner of all of the staff at Sedgwick.
My family and I would like to thank David and Michelle for their kindness, guidance, support and immense patience throughout. We truly appreciate it and are very grateful.

Absolutely awful. Disorganised, inept, incompetent, laughable customer service who just reads messages on a screen and set up with different departments that send you from one to the other, claiming the other needs to sort things out. Their conduct has been in the verge of being criminal, sending inexperienced contractors to fix a simple leak under the bathroom sink, who broke a pipe. They are now refusing to fix the problem, despite calling them 20 times. They are vile, a joke, profiteering on people and causing distress and damage. Do not use them or deal with them. I will be taking them to the tribunal for the small claims.

I was overwhelmed with a domestic flood in my 91 year old mother's property. I met Jade Ayres who was acting as a loss adjuster for the company and she kindly took time during our first meeting to listen to what i had to say and give me the mental support i needed , and she reassured me she would support me through this. I have to say Jade was amazing, she had kept in touch with me every few days , keeping me fully informed, whilst still being supportive. We are almost out of the back of the problem now and I really feel having Jade alongside me lifted pressure and fully gave me confidence that i would be supported as i have been.

I had roof damaged caused by a storm Goretti ,I was advised by a video communication showing the rain water dripping, the dates were consistent with the `met office records of storm when wind strengths of more than 60 mph observed, a loss adjust visited from Sedgwick to investigate ,her finding were that there was no significant high winds , then on inspection the leak seemed to originate from the top of a dormer window and there is an area which is flat ,which I was unaware of , the LA insisted that it represented a surface area greater than 20% of the entire roof which is untrue, anyway on the basis of their report Towergate Insurance rejected the claim despite this being my first claim with this property in over 20 years.

You know most insurance companies work against you - trying to give as little as possible. Sedgwicks actually worked with us to give us the most they could have given us - at a time when we were really hurting from a massive theft at the worst possible time.
Sedgwicks were really kind and sensitive and thoughtful in their approach. And also, very human. We did not at any point feel we were just in the system. They genuinely cared and you could feel they really wanted to do their best for us.
Thank you especially to Eleanor Isbitt and Simon Marcer, we are so grateful to you.
We highly recommend Sedgwicks - they are genuine and not just "another insurance company." Thank you for all that you do.

Excellent effort from Linda Cole and Kieran Browne to settle my house claim after a substantial fire, going above and beyond the call of...Friendly, compassionate and addressed me by name. Earlier loss adjusters less helpful. Highly recommended.
