SEEMS TO BE A SCAM SITE!
I sent my cell phone on 9/25/24. It was received 2 days later. It is now 10/15 and I've contacted SellMyCellPhone twice. The 1st time, they said that my phone hasn't been received. Still waiting for a response from my 2nd contact. BEWARE...SEEMS TO BE A SCAM SITE.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts we have been unable to contact Vince Marcus, the owner of GoNerdzy and the website is no longer active. We have seen a report online that a new website has been set up by the owner called https://buybackgadget.com/ that is also now gaining bad reviews. We advise all users not to sell through https://buybackgadget.com/.

CONSUMER BEWARE!
CONSUMER BEWARE! BingBong Tec company is not to be trusted at all! Sell My Cell Phones should be ashamed for listing them on their site. I made a huge mistake by mailing them my cellphone and now they won't mail it back, won't send me my money and I'm out of an iPhone X! Their phone number is a fake and I read somewhere else that the address is non-existent! Please don't make the same mistake I made, don't buy anything from them or sell anything to them. You will never receive your money or merchandise.
UPDATE: Bing Bong Tec finally sent my money but after I complained in. every way possible. Sell My Cell they were found on your site and they are still listed on your site today.

Despite this, we contacted you to offer our assistance but you didn't respond to our Trustpilot 'find reviewer' message nor our email directly to you. We are glad that the matter seems to have been fully resolved and you received your money from the buyer.
SellMyCellphones might send you to a SKETCHY WEBSITE
On August 16th I quoted my iPad mini and iPhone for an exchanged on Bing Bong Tec website. They sent confirmation of receiving both items and passed inspection on August 28th. Their website advertised next day electronic check through email which I opted for. It is now Sept 23rd and I have not received any payment for my electronics. I've tried communicating with them multiple times through multiple channels and received nothing. After a month of trying to receive my payment for the exchange of goods, I have decided to report this issue to BBB.
UPDATE: Sellmycellphones has been very reactive to my concern and has since then been a huge factor in the reason my issue with BingBongTec has been resolved. Be careful out there.

The reviewer did not place their order through our website so we had no knowledge or record of it. Despite this, after receiving 1 email from the seller stating that they hadn't received payment, we were able to liaise with the buyer and the matter was resolved within a few hours.
The buyer stated that an e-Check had been sent to the sellers email address a while back after the devices had been received and checked. This may have been caught via spam or service provider and the buyer therefore re-issued payment.
Thank you for updating your review to reflect that we were able to help you resolve the matter and you have now received payment.
We aim to only partner with reputable businesses. It is definitely not in our interest if users of our website do not receive payment or have a bad selling experience and I am glad that the matter is now resolved.

Won't use this service again...
I am disappointed with the level of service I received. Initially, although I followed the site's process, I did not receive payment for my phone. It took my awarding the site 1 star to get their attention, as they take no responsibility for ensuring that their process actually works. Finally, although they did help to resolve the problem, their attitude concerning my score was a trifle irritating.

Thank you for updating your initial review. Prior to the 1 star review that you left on Sunday July 21st, we, nor Decluttr who you sold your device to had received any contact from you to say that you hadn't received payment. Rest assured that we take all genuine customer queries seriously and always respond to them.
After receiving your feedback on the 21st, you provided me with further details of your order on Monday 22nd. I then contacted Decluttr on your behalf to query payment. They responded quickly to say that they would look in to the matter, and you were updated on this.
On Wednesday 24th I received information from Decluttr that there had been a genuine but very unusual case of the courier misplacing your parcel and that was why it hadn't been processed. The parcel was tracked, located and processed and you were updated on this.
On Friday 26th you received payment for your cell phone as per the original quote.
The whole process was resolved within 5 working days and we are very happy with the service we provided in this case.
Apologies if you found my attitude "a trifle irritating", I just asked if you could update the initial review and 1 star "bad service" rating to reflect that the issue had been resolved and you had received your payment. We take all negative feedback seriously as it is important that other Trustpilot users are aware that we resolved the issue you had experienced with this buyer.
