AP department is horrible
Our community just recently went to the new community pro system and it's horrible. Sentry did not bring over our vendor information to the new system and now are refusing to pay people until they have info in set up in their new system. Hey dummies pull this information from the old system, it's all there and all are in compliance. I know of communities that Sentry doesn't even pay their bills so the power has been cut off at the clubhouse and now their pest control is disrupting service until payments are caught up. Their AP department is the worst!!!! Our local office has been great at trying to help but their hands are tied.
This company is absolutely horrible
This company is absolutely horrible! They let fake board members use poa funds to sue property owners for their properties and try to push people out. They don't take complaints seriously
Not very responsive to issues
Not very responsive to multiple issues, multiple attempts. Eventually if you're willing to make@ least 3x attempts on each issue to get their attention. Apparently the squeaky wheel gets the grease. The website is useless as is Clickpay in getting auto pay set up. I consider myself computer literate, but apparently the ability to use these sites is a computer science degree. 5 weeks to get approved for a basic exterior project
I've always appreciate what Sentry…
I've always appreciate what Sentry Management has done when I have had to interact with the agent for our association. I had notice that a townhome across our street and that one of the light fixtures was loose. So I contacted our Sentry representative to inform them of this situation. The very next day someone was working on the light fixture and fixed the problem.
Bad Management of Community and Financial funds
Here we are again a year later since my review from last May and sadly there is no positive changes and the 'Community Lien' is still over our total 88-condominiums and homeowners cannot get a HELOC loan with their banks nor can we sell our homes until the lien is lifted and that can only be done when the remaining monies owed from the $63k lien put on community because of Sentry's mismanagement of finances is paid in full. So we are stuck in the unsightly community in which landscapping services have not been done since last year and our community looks bad. Plus you factor in the worst renters thanks to Sentry and our place looks like a ghetto here at Treymont at Sugarloaf while the leadership and HOA Manager sit in their nice Sandy Springs offices and/or work from home and while we are left to deal with bad renters, bad board members and absolutely no oversight in this community at all. The blame also should go to the homeowners who are sitting by and not doing anything to help hold HOAs and Board members accountable. We the homeowners are the ones paying on a number levels including higher HOA dues, plummetting property values, etc.
I had question regarding statement I…
I had question regarding statement I received for Eagles Landing POA. I called 6 times. Four times it was disconnected and two times some one answer and put back on same line. No one answer the phone and there is no customr service. I do not uderstand why ELPOA keeps this no service company. If rating was avilable in minus, I would have given the lowest rating.
Our representative with Sentry makes my life so much easier.
Our representative with Sentry makes my life so much easier as president of our HOA. Our home owners know to contact Sentry direct with any problems, our representative lets me know of her actions to correct the owners concerns or just handles it by contact to landscaping or other contractor. She is efficient and flexible to the occasion.
Their website isn't very sound and it…
Their website isn't very sound and it passes off control to another site to collect payments. My husband and I have tried to create accounts that work and we have both failed. Lots of wasted time. No responses from them. Online chat is useless. Want to do a setup autopay. Don't they're going to charge us every time we do it by phone. There must be better services out there. Homeowners associations take note! Ours has already chosen them but you don't have to replicate the mistake!
No one gets back to you if you email…
No one gets back to you if you email them. Not corporate or local. When you call you're on hold for an hour and if you leave a message and still no one calls back. My payment got lost in the mail so they charged me $120 for lien proceedings and I still tried to contact to resolve and no one got back to me. I have lived in my house for 17 years and I have NEVER not paid my dues. Now because i've waited for resolution they have sent me to an attorney and added another $400 to my bill. I can't even go in and pay my current dues owed. They are unprofessional and are quick to try to scam anyone out of extra money.
They constantly post payments late
They constantly post payments late. I have set up payment with my bank the banks say payment cleared on the 1st Sentry Management says it bounced. After much digging they said my checks are too dark to read so they charge me $20 for bad check it wasn’t bad and if it was too dark maybe you should find another way to maybe manually post the check. I refuse to use their click pay because I don’t trust Sentry and I think the goal is to collect an extra 2O dollars they won’t let you speak to management. I have friends in the community that set up auto pay and Sentry took the money out but still charged a late fee. This company is shady and robbing people who have no choice because it is the company our community chooses to use. I am stressed every month by this I am a senior and I feel powerless and hopeless dealing with this company. I am currently trying to find a reasonably priced lawyer because this is unfair and I can’t take the stress of this anymore

I have been a realtor for 7 years and dealing with Justin and his team over at sentry one has always been a smooth transition. My clients who have moved into his condos that they manage have always been very happy and satisfied with there work over there, thanks Justin Cavanaugh
The end of January 2023 I lost all…
The end of January 2023 I lost all power in my unit. After flipping all the breakers I still didn’t have power so I called an electrician to come out. He found the problem and I paid 225.00 to get it repaired. This was at the main exterior power box so I should be reimbursed as it was not an interior issue. As of January 31st I have sent numerous emails and spoke to 5 associates including 2 managers about this. The power box has tripped again since the original loss of power and fortunately I watched what the electrician did on the original visit and was able to fix it myself. The supposed associate in charge of my property “ W. Perry” refuses to reply to my emails or phone calls even though I told him the power is still going out and I’m concerned about a possible fire. I also told them I travel for a living and if this happens when I’m out of town I will lose all my refrigerated perishables. It is now April 24,, 3 months later and I’ve heard nothing from anyone at Sentry Mgmnt. These people and this company are absolutely horrible. Lawsuit?? I am now going to inquire with my attorney. You people don’t care about your properties. Get out of the business and take your lousy employees with you. S. Edwards
I am pretty sure sentry is embezaling…
I am pretty sure sentry is embezaling money from myself and my neighbors. We USED to have a pool, but have not had one for over a decade. In spite of receving less and less amenities our rates have increased every year to the point where my HOA dues are over HALF of my mortgage. They tried to make me ask them to install a satellite dish in spite of the fact that FCC regulations specifically outlaw them from requiring any such notice. They placed tow stickers on my vehicle that I NEED to get to work giving me TWO days notice before towing my car. They don't powerwash like they claim. They don't put out mulch on a consistent basis. They don't provide the same level of yard upkeep they used to. The gutters are constantly full of leaves. The one thing they did do was repave the pavement so at least there's that. I am sure that wasn't cheap, BUT they also made me pay $2900 to have a tree cut down. I think I am going to contact all of my neighbors that own so we can create our OWN HOA and kick Sentry to the f'ing curb or at the very least I need to investigate our statements and books because something seems crooked. Your days are numbered blood suckers!!!!!
The absolute worst company
The absolute worst company. Zero communication. They attempted to contact me, apparently "multiple times," via mail to an address I had not lived at in 3 years. When not rectified, because I had no knowledge of it, they continued to place late fees, interested, and a lien on my property. Confirmed they had my current email and phone number and never once reached out. Yenny Perez in the Longwood office is the laziest rep...most concerned about maximizing profit rather than actual providing a service.
Roxanne Wolf Ft Myers Sentry Managemet…
Roxanne Wolf Ft Myers Sentry Managemet has helped us out during the hurricane Ian and showed great Community presence by helping out Board Member when his phone wasn’t working calling the plumber and meeting up with them and after the storm when we had a main water pipe broken. She has gone out of her way for days after the storm. I feel she should she should be recognized by Sentry Management for going above and beyond
Horrible
Horrible - They write a tons of citations for stupid things around the neighborhood. Expect it to be fixed in 30 days or your fined. Yet, when they need to fix or make something correct they can take 6+ months. I received a citation - fixed it in a few days - they closed it - then reopened it months later saying 4th violation. They don't stand by there decisions.
Worst property management co
They never respond to emails or calls. They MIGHT get back to you after a month or more, regardless of time sensitivity. They really shouldn't still be open.
I own a home in a HOA and was fined for…
I own a home in a HOA and was fined for someone parked in front of my home while at work. I explained that it was not associated with my home. I asked for license plate, the car is unknown to me and I was threatened with a lawsuit/lien on my home. I have nothing to do with what happened and am being fined. Watch out for this company they are crooks.

Multiple attempts of contact by email and phone by my husband and myself to resolve acess problems to our condos pool area and parking decals. No action, no resolution for weeks now. Nothing.
But they are quick to ask for money.
