I recently submitted my Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds for repair to ServiceGruppen (contacts were provided by Sony support in Denmark) due to a partially non-functional right earbud (the touch control wasn’t working). Despite the fact that my earbuds were out of warranty, I still expected an honest price for the repair. To my disbelief, I was presented with a bill of 1,975 DKK for the repair. This is astonishing, considering that on Elgiganten website, the exact same model (both earbuds with the case) costs 1,645 DKK used, and 1,935 DKK for a brand-new.
To get my earbuds back, I was still required to pay a 360 DKK inspection fee. When I asked how the repair is conducted, I wanted to understand if they simply order new or refurbished pair, or even just another right earbud and pair it with the left one. If that’s the case, it’s not a repair — it’s borderline fraudulent. On the other hand, if they spend time repairing the defective part, it’s simply an illogical and inefficient practice. My question was met with silence, which is utterly unacceptable.
I am extremely dissatisfied and outraged with the lack of transparency and exorbitant pricing.

Reply from Service Center Gruppen A/S
The Technical gentleman from LG was very kind and very friendly and helpful . I recommended %100
This is the 2nd repair we've had ServiceCenter Gruppen out to our home to take care of an issue with an appliance. Last time it was the Samsung Dryer, this time the Samsung Washer. Our repair technician - Jan [he was here last time as well] - was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided us with good information as to the problem, the repair, and general manintenance of our products. We cannot recommend this service provider highly enough!
Claus was very efficient, helpful and friendly.
TV works as it should now.
Nice fast and easy repair. On time and with eng speaking technician. Highly reccomend.
Claus was the technician that came to our rescue today. His inspection and diagnosis were thorough and accurate, enabling him to get our machine up and running again. He took time to explain the process, as well as provided helpful tips for future use of the washer. Super helpful and friendly. A pleasure to work with. Thanks so much, Claus.
Received very great service from Karsten! He was very friendly, professional, and quick. He came to replace a power supply on my LG TV which was recalled due to overheating issues. (It was a free repair paid by the manufacturer--LG)
Karsten also followed up via email quickly to share the new warranty on the part that was replaced.
Terrible experience. The Samsung washing machine we bought malfunctions all the time. Service Center Gruppen Samsung made the repair process a nightmare. They artifically drag the repair on and on. Total lack of transparency when it comes to rules regarding their visits. At this point the technician replaces parts that he replaced a week ago. People at the office don't answer simple questions regarding the repair process and rules.
