Excellent Car Purchase
I recently took delivery of my Kia Picanto from SG Petch in Sunderland. This was my second purchase from this dealership. My review of my first Kia Picanto was that the process was probably the easiest I had ever encountered. The process for my second Kia was even better....totally seamless. Michael was excellent throughout - knowledgeable and answering all my questions and queries. If you are looking for a hassle free car purchase then I would highly recommend SG Petch in Sunderland.

Buying a car from Nicky at this dealership was a pleasure.
It took us 6 hours and 4 trains to get to Sunderland but it was so worth the trip.
We especially appreciated the complimentary stay overnight.
Collecting the car was straightforward and Nicky was helpful and professional.

Service which has restored my faith in people
The review is specifically about the Station Garage, Haxby which is part of the SG Petch garage chain. We have used the Station Garage for many years to maintain and service our vehicles and always been impressed by their efficiency and good value, however, my experience last week exceeded all expectations.
I am a district nurse, and travelling in my vehicle to tend to one of my patients in the community a landscape contractor’s lorry smashed the wing mirror of my car, failed to stop and disappeared into the distance.
I took my vehicle to Station Garage and rather than immediately look to replace the damaged wing mirror at a cost in excess of £1000, manager Phil Simpson, said he and his team would look to see whether they could repair, rather than replace the broken part.
Upon returning to the garage, I not only found that they had managed to repair the wing mirror they refused to accept any payment as a thank you for my service to the community and as a counter point to the actions of the contractor who had caused the damage.
It isn’t lost on my how much time and effort Phil and his team had put into making the repair and I was truly touched and quite emotional at their generosity.
I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Only went in to view and possibly test…
Only went in to view and possibly test drive a couple of cars, however ended up test driving the MG HS and purchased it the same day. Sales staff Hayden was brilliant and helpful. Picked the car up a week later after some confusion over the finance, which Charlie one of the sales managers sorted out straight away and had the car ready the next day for pick up.
I had a couple of issues with the car (rear washer not working and mold spots on the passenger rear seatbelt) which have been dealt with straight away. Fantastic service and it's also my second car from SG Petch.
