It was easy to setup easy to use and easy to cancel. A no hassle experience all the way around.
It used to be a good service. It's done nothing but get more expensive as it's degraded, and the customer service is a joke. Today I tried to log in and had a FIFTY MINUTE queue to access my own computer. I use this computer for both time-sensitive gaming and for MY JOB. Their service constantly goes down for "scheduled maintenance" (how many times a week can you schedule maintenance?) and the latency, total loss of FPS/freezing, and disconnections are constant. Done. Shopping for a desktop right this very minute.
Edit: It's NOT a resolved incident. It happens all the time. I tried to log in at 10 PM on a Friday yesterday and had a 30 minute queue. That was after they issued this response. So on top of everything else, they're out here lying.

My VM is really decent, the site is well designed, intuitive and user friendly and mostly does what I want and need, but I was hoping to arrange an upgrade. I sent at least 5 messages over 3 weeks to explore options and not 1 reply. To me that constitutes horrible customer support. Hopefully their VM offerings will continue to get stronger and faster and dealing with customer support will not be necessary.

I signed up today, hoping to give them another chance, gameplay was laggy and unplayable... I've ran into constant "Windows Activation" errors every time I sign up with them, seems like they are using product keys on multiple systems, even when contacting their Support they say not contact Microsoft and to activate using phone and put that it was only activated once, which is a little shady.

I wanted to develop android applications but you cannot run an emulator in android studio, I asked to cancel and a refund but the AI bot gives a blanket NO. Very poor

Even with the better connection my shadow is usless, i can not run any emulator or even write because of the latency.
I ve tried to change all the parameters but did not work.

I have a Shadow PC that I use for my business, especially when I am abroad.
Now I haven't been able to start my PC for a whopping 14 days – no access to my programmes and data – everyone can imagine what that means in business...
I contacted Shadow Support almost daily – no support, no help, nothing at all. I was ignored and have now, logically, cancelled my subscription.
For gamers, it may not be a problem to go 14 days without playing, but for business use, it's a disaster.
At first I was very upset, but now I've found better, more reliable and cheaper alternatives, so I'm glad I'm away from Shadow.
Since I couldn't access my PC or reset it (the option is there, but I got an error message), I asked Shadow to delete my data and confirm that they had done so. Of course, no confirmation was provided, so I am left with a bad feeling because I am not sure whether my business data was actually deleted.
All in all, a disastrous experience with Shadow...

Shadow's response to my review is unbeatable in terms of audacity. Shadow writes that support is always there to help solve problems – IN MY CASE, THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE. Despite writing several times by email and via the contact form, I received no help whatsoever. I was simply ignored for two weeks and had no access to my PC during that time! !
Shadow has time to respond to my review in detail and with fairy tales, but I am still waiting in vain for confirmation that my data has been deleted, which they are legally obliged to do. I wonder why...

I purchased a VM product from Shadow Tech based on their advertised specifications. Within hours of setup, a known service issue made the VM unusable. Shadow Tech admitted the fault and explicitly promised to “escalate your ticket for compensation review once the issue has been resolved,” ensuring any approved refund would cover the entire downtime.
Once the glitch was fixed, Shadow Tech reneged on that promise. Instead of full compensation for the entire impacted period, I was offered only a small discount—directly contradicting their own policy. Their follow-up emails were filled with polite apologies (“we understand your disappointment,” “we’re working to improve”) and invitations to “contact Support again,” but no real action or accountability.
This isn’t a simple service hiccup; it’s deliberate misdirection. Charging customers for a non-functioning product, admitting the defect, then refusing a proper refund amounts to theft. Shadow Tech’s superficial PR language and repeated deflections prove they’re more interested in delaying and dismissing complaints than in making things right.
I have filed a formal complaint with the ECC (European Consumer Centre) and am preparing to report Shadow Tech to the police for fraud.
Warning to others: Shadow Tech’s promises are empty, their compensation policy is meaningless, and their “customer support” is a puppet show designed to steal your money.

Nutze Shadow schon länger und bin mit der technischen Leistung (Performance, Verfügbarkeit der Server) zufrieden – für meinen Anwendungsfall funktioniert es gut.
Weniger zufrieden bin ich mit den Antwortzeiten des Supports: Bei meinem letzten Fall (Zahlung korrekt am 06.08. gebucht) wurde dies erst viele Tage später im System aktualisiert, und die Kommunikation dauerte deutlich länger als erwartet.
Solche Verzögerungen sind ärgerlich, auch wenn am Ende kein direkter Schaden entstanden ist. In solchen Fällen wäre es wünschenswert, wenn der Support – oder zumindest die zuständige Leitung – aktiv Lösungen oder Kulanz anbietet, anstatt den Kunden einfach warten zu lassen.

I’ve been using Shadow for a while and I’m happy with the technical performance (server speed, uptime) – it works well for my needs.
I’m less satisfied with the support response times: In my last case (payment made on 06/08), it took several days before the system updated, and communication took noticeably longer than expected.
These delays are frustrating, even if no direct damage occurred in the end. In such cases, it would be appreciated if support – or at least the responsible management – offered solutions or goodwill gestures instead of simply leaving the customer to wait.

Wouldn't reccomend. Customer service is quite poor and the service itself is subpar at best - look elsewhere.
I wrote them asking to cancel and refund my account same day that my account was charged and no dice after asking politely multiple times. Fortunately
The service itself is laggy and inconsistent for gaming or anything real time.

I was specifically looking for an alternative to GeForce NOW to play games that aren't supported on that platform, and Shadow PC has proven to be an excellent choice. The performance has been solid, and I appreciate having access to a full Windows environment rather than being limited to a specific game library.

I only been using it for a month in Europa it was pretty much perfect and stable, the price is a little bit higher than I'm fully comfortable, but still quite a good offer with a lot of way to change your setup and so many possibilities, you can do so much with a pc so having a pc on your pocket anywhere that keep your data is really an interesting prospect, gaming was very smooth too even on my smaller device,i'm an owner of pc and using shadow to reduce my electricity cost as I'm already over using my pc so having that is a breath of fresh air on it specially on summer not having a hot pc blasting hot hair below my desk is pretty nice.

The idea is good, the price is more or less acceptable per month, but there is a very large input lag and ping. When you move the mouse, the computer delays the movement, and the mouse eventually freezes. For this price, the experience is unpleasant.
