My experience
I speaked with the support team several days before I actually bought a subscription on Neo plan, the support team was amazing, always answering me in less than 24h, even though I has in an non supported country. The team provided me with a link to a page when I was able to do a connection check prior to the subscription. Even being at approximately 1.800km of the server, the connection is excellent with very little lag.

False advertising! Horrible experience, never worth buying. So much input delay, just buy boosteroid or save for a PC. Complete waste of money and it can’t run any newer games without terrible stuttering and horrible frames.

The reasons why I am satisfied
I'm truly satisfied with ShadowPC because it's exactly what I've always wanted: I no longer have to worry about maintaining my hardware, which often failed me at the worst possible times.
With the NEO solution, I've found a great balance for both gaming and working. My local desktop PC has now simply become a terminal to access Shadow.
Since I understand and appreciate the philosophy behind Shadow PC, I also understand the need to shut down the PC after about 30/40 minutes of inactivity. While I would have preferred slightly longer times, it's still a compromise I accept, especially considering the accessibility to powerful hardware for the monthly fee.
Before renting my first cloud PC, my main concerns were latency, smoothness, and the ability to install the programs I needed. After reading the FAQ and testing it myself, I can confirm that they assign you a PC that you manage just like your own. I can install all the games and work programs that I normally used on my local PC.
I'm writing this review specifically to express my satisfaction with this service and its support. I hope it continues to grow and consistently offer the best, as it's already doing. I can definitely say I'm a very satisfied user!!!

Lifesaver.
and has algorithms that fine tune its service to your habits.
The idle time out disconnect on the non business packages
(you can't make it always on cept through their business packages)
is about 30 minutes unless they're having trouble.
So no flight simulator or movies unless you set a timer.
But.. the service itself..
Boosteroid is awesome because it works and is cheap (as long as you set your upstream correctly)
GeforceNow is awesome because it offers the best (although 100 hours then you pay twice as much)
Shadow PC is awesome because there's no time limit, it's a mid-range PC and it costs 1.5 times as much as 100 hours from Nvidia's 4080's.
I'm saving £40 a month in electric bills by relying on cloud computing and it's costing me £35.
This is the way forward.
Beautiful service that caters to you. This is a win for me.

A near perfect go-to remote PC
The Shadow client would log me out without warning. Otherwise, my Shadow PC has been a great experience. Not only is it my go-to remote PC, but I will often use it in place of my home PC.

Very disappointing customer support…
Very disappointing customer support from Shadow
I subscribed to Shadow's service for $50, and within 30 minutes of signing up, I realized I had chosen the wrong datacenter for my needs — the connection was laggy and not usable. I immediately reached out to support to request a simple switch to another datacenter (from Washington to Portland), both of which are in supported US regions.
My request was denied because I’m currently on vacation in Vietnam. However, I signed up with a valid US address on their US website, and Shadow accepted my payment without any restrictions or warnings. The service works fine here — so why deny a basic technical change?
Instead of helping me fix an honest mistake, support quoted the Terms of Use and implied I was trying to abuse the system. I’m not. I’m a US customer temporarily abroad.
This was my first and last month with Shadow. If a company can’t show a minimum level of flexibility or understanding toward paying customers, they don’t deserve loyalty.
👉 Shadow, please do better.

I would like to reassure you that it was not our intent to imply any breach of terms of service.
The issue in this case is that the product is not inteded nor can be used reliably while outside our supported areas.
Concerning the relocation of a machine, we have precise procedures to follow in order to make it happen, and a connection from an unsupported region would not allow us to justify the change.
I am sorry for this inconvenience.
