It was a long wait (5 months) due to CV19 and supply issues but well worth it. Our new timber front door has surpassed our expectations as it is a beautiful feature to our house.
Alex and his apprentice Liam grafted for a full working day to install the new frame and door. There were a few technical issues due to the previous door's fitting including having to shave 10mm or so from the interior walls but Alex overcame any issues with a professional zeal.
His attention to detail whether it be the caulking and sealing or fitting the door furniture was second to none.
Liam made from scratch a new piece of shaped timber to insert above the door, again, first class.
Alex consulted on every detail to make sure we were satisfied. He obviously takes a pride in his workmanship as evidenced by him and Liam taking photos of the finished work.
Yes, it's more expensive than a composite door and maybe some companies offerings but the quality speaks for itself. An excellent company to deal with from Jamie at the Hartley Witney showroom, the quotation process, the communications and installation.
My partner is now thinking about replacement windows from Sherborne!

An incredible job the guys at Sherborne Windows have done. Complete replacement of cottage windows in the solid wood. We are absolutely thrilled with the windows and have had so many compliments re the quality and how 'in keeping' with the cottage they are. We are delighted! When the windows were installed, I honestly expected to return from work to a building site and yet I was hard pushed to tell they had even been here! Not a trace of dust, mess or anything to clear up …. just amazing!
Their follow up service is fantastic as well. As always, on any job, there is always the odd niggle that doesn’t always go to plan and yet the team dealt with tiny amount of that efficiently and effectively. They are such nice guys to have working here as well. Polite yet fun! Totally impressed with Sherborne Windows as a company and will be using them again when the rear extension goes up. We will also be highly recommending them to EVERYONE we know!! At last, a company whose product quality matches the service! Worth every single penny.

I have just had Sherborne carry out work for me, it was not a standard job and it required some structural work, Jamie the estimator was very good indeed, knowledgeable and straightforward, he introduced me to their Building works Director Stuart who filled me with confidence with his knowledge and can do attitude, I needed the job done sooner than they were able but Andy in the office jiggled things for me and the work started ahead of schedule, I was very grateful for this effort, and it truly set the tone for the whole job, every single aspect and staff member was wonderful, I cannot remember the names of all of the lads, but each one was spot on with the quality of their work and the way they went about it, it was a pleasure to have you all here, Stuart, Ben, Mark and all the other lads thanks so much, a truly awesome job from start to finnish Thank you

This company was a pleasure to deal with. Everything was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The men who installed the windows were polite and tidy. They even managed to save 3 of the old windows for me, with only minor damage. I'm delighted with the result and have received several compliments on how smart the house now looks. Highly recommended.

I have obtained the quotes from 5 suppliers before selecting Sherbone. They were one of the most competitive but just as knowledgeable and engaging as the top quote which was 3x higher. Whilst the lead in time was a bit longer than advised originally we felt we could trust their advice and word. We are more than happy with result, great acoustic and heat retention. We will recommend them and come back for future orders.

They say you get you pay for. In the case of Sherborne this is very much the case - and then some! Cannot commend the team highly enough for the way they handled our custom from start to finish. Honest advice and support at the order stage all the way through to a seamless installation by their in-house professionals.

I can highly recommend Sherborne. From my first enquiry online through to my final invoice and sign off the engagement with the Sherborne team has been nothing short of excellent. We had a Orangery extension and from design, building reg’s, foundations, building, carpentry, installations and fixings the entire team delivered a high quality service and finish. Nothing was too much to ask of the team and Andy’s project management and availability to respond to questions and support when needed was exactly what I wanted from the team running the project. I would recommend the Sherborne team and have already done so, if you looking for high quality with a company that can run a project from start to finish then Sherborne should be on your list.
