Items are usually excellent.

I give customer service 5 stars for their information, reassurance & support.
Before I purchased the two items, I requested reassurance that they would be delivered in time, as one was a Birthday gift.
Unfortunately due to previous experiences of being too lengthy a time with dispatch & delivery, this was of great concern to me.
I had to call customer svs again for that very reason.
The lady I spoke to there was so helpful. That is my reasoning of 5 stars given.
I need to add that these two sets of shell pearls were not in the best of conditions. With chippings from them left in the satin boxes.
I have to say that this is the first time the quality of Shipton & co items wasn't up to scratch. I am sorry to state that, as this is most unusual.
Hence the 3 stars.

Let me start by saying I would order…

Let me start by saying I would order again. Customer service was not brilliant over the phone and there was no response to an email I sent.

Item took a while to arrive. It was for a birthday present and didn't arrive on time. That's fine as it was for my mam and she understood. Item was perfect in its own right but did not look like the one on the website! The item looked green tones on the website and pinkish tones in real life.

Good service

Good response from customer services when I requested an out of stock item. It was ordered and I was notified when it became available. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. The product was a gift, which was completely appreciated.

Fast delivery, safely packaged and lovely item.

Ordered just before Christmas and wasn't expecting it to arrive by Christmas (not that it was a present) but it arrived in a couple of days, securely packaged. Loved the item - just as it looked online. Very pleased with service and item. No complaints.

First time problem

For the first time, ordering from Shipton & Co, something went wrong. I ordered 4 items but when the delivery eventually arrived there were only 3 items in the bag but the delivery note itemised all 4. There was no note saying one thing would be coming later. I contacted the company, which got back to me quickly, saying it would investigate. A few days later the missing item arrived, no explanation. All is well but I was concerned about lack of information.

Attentive phone calls from…

Attentive phone calls from Shipton...things had got complicated because I had to order by phone, rather than online, due to the vouchers I had received previously. Very happy with the ring and earrings.

Why I recommend Shiptons.

Well made and presented products at exceptional prices…

…but, please stop including the ringsizer as a complimentary gift - I’ve got 6 of ‘em languishing in a drawer!

Disgraceful

When my mother was alive I ordered her some things under my name as she was not capable of doing this herself. She died last August and over the past 15 months I have phoned customer services at least 5 times asking them to remove me from their mailing list as it was upsetting for my 92 year old father to keep receiving these catalogues at his house as it reminded him of the wife he'd just lost after 60 years of marriage. Each time I was assured by the person I was speaking to that I would be removed. More catalogues kept coming so I filled in a online form to Shipton & Co demanding that they remove me from their mailing list under the right to be forgotten UK GDPR ruling. What did they do then? They started emailing me asking me if I wanted to buy their stuff!!!!! Another catalogue has just arrived. How bloody hard is it to remove my name from their mailing list. It's a total lack of respect and very upsetting for all of us. If I could give 0 as a review I would have done.

Beautiful jewellery and an excellent multi purchase offer. Arrived, safely packaged and very prompt delivery. Other online companies offer tracking which would be helpful.

Benchmark for Excellence

Over the years I have used Shipton&Co many times. From the first contact (by telephone, too long in the tooth for computerised ordering 🤔) And as I was phone earlier today. They have never let me down. I was late with my Christmas order, and was informed. The company would do their best, but it wasn't promised.At about 11.45 this morning a recorded package arrived. My wife's presents in time for the big day 🎁🎄🎅So in this review can I say again. A brilliant professional, yet comfortable, easy to deal with company.
