Avoid if you want to receive your parcel quickly

I placed an order from the US and it arrived in the New York Warehouse on May 6. My parcel has not arrived in the UK. I’ve had nothing but issues and apparently it’s delayed in Dubai with no update in 10 days and coming up to 4 weeks and no sign of my parcel. Customer service repeat the same message. I’ve used other shipping forwarding and this is my worst experience and would not use again or recommend. Don’t be fooled by there prices.

Update: I’ve updated my review to 2 stars from 1 star as I received my package on the 23/06/2023 which was delivered by DPD.

I wouldn’t use this service again for anything of high value or anything that is needed quickly.

Poor service

Very slow and bad customer service.
In dubai, you have a very bad delivery man.
He never calls and make an update that I refused 3 times the shipment which cost me 500 euro.!!
When I reached customer service by email, I recieved an automatic message.

Bad Overseas Handler in Hong Kong

Been using Shopandship Flex for many years and shipped countless of shipments.

Most of the time it was painless. The few times when there was a need for Customer Service to step in, it was difficult as most in this place had described but was able to overcome with the team.

Since 2023, the overseas handler engaged by Shopandship in Hong Kong is horrible. The issue is still pending and the service team seems helpless this time.

I am writing this here hoping someone who is able to help can contact me.

They don't provide any kind of support…

They don't provide any kind of support with regard to any issue. They asked for invoice and i submitted it in form i got from the seller. But they are not accepting it and holding my parcel unnecessary.At least they should specify reason for non acceptance. But they are not doing that. I think i made a mistake by choosing them. In future,i will prefer others instead.

Not worth it

First of all, the mobile application is down and has been down for almost 2 months now with no announcement whatsoever on what's happening or when is it going to be fixed. Keep in mind this is not a "just you" problem, but rather myself, my partner, and my 2 friends. And "myself" is 2 phones with different updates.

There are no notifications sent to your email when your subscription expires, you gotta know the hard way when you go to pick up your package and they charge you the double.

Customer service seldom helps or even responds like they have actually read your email. Just generic automated responses.

Unreliable and Unethical: A One-Star Review of Shopandship

I have been using this forward shipping company's services for years and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with their service. I would give them a one-star rating out of five for their shady policies and unhelpful customer service.

The company has set up policies that allow them to take money from customers which they have no right to take. For example, they require customers to upload an invoice within 48 hours of receiving a shipment. If the customer fails to do so, the company sets the price of the items in the shipment by estimation. This means that if they overestimate the price, the customer is forced to pay VAT for that estimated amount, even if the actual price is much lower. This is a completely unethical practice and shows a complete disregard for their customers.

Furthermore, while the customer service representatives may not have been rude, I found them to be unhelpful and unresponsive. They seemed to have no interest in resolving issues or addressing customer concerns, and I felt like I was not being listened to. When I tried to get any meaningful response, it took a lot of effort on my part.

Overall, I would strongly advise against using this forward shipping company. Their policies are shady and unhelpful, and their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful. Save yourself the headache and find a different company to work with.

Their Japan facility puts 2x 3x the actual shipment value FRUSTRATING DISAPPOINTING

I ordered something from Uniqlo Japan on the 13th of April and it was delivered to their facility on the 15th of April but they took 4 days (19th April) to link the shipment to my account and this was done only after I submitted the shipment information in the "Claim Package" feature.

Now to my surprise, the shipment value was mentioned as 36,000 JPY whereas the actual amount of shipment was 16,930 JPY (more than 2x). I immediately opened a complaint by email where I clearly said I have the invoice and can also submit proof of payment and requested to amend the amount. Somehow on the 20th of April, the shipment value was confirmed by the Dubai team for 36,000 JPY with no invoice and no proof of purchase.

Later I got a reply saying I need to update the invoice in the "My Shipments" option on their website and when I went over there, I can't even find my shipment, I could see my other older shipments which were already delivered to me. So I replied to the same email saying I could not find the Japan shipment with the screenshot.

There was no response for a few days and later I got a reply saying that once the shipment is linked to my account, I only have 48 hours to update the invoice and they can't do anything about it. The shipment arrives in the destination country on the 28th and the amount is still wrong and I kept mailing them asking to amend the value. They still said they can't do anything about it and I refused to accept the delivery.

After speaking to so many agents, and attempting several requests again and again, one of the staff membered took my request seriously and updated the amount, today is the 6th of May and until now I haven't received my package and today they are saying they will "try" to deliver it.

Disappointed...

I gave this mob a shot with something basic - a book - and I found that, so long as you aren't in a super hurry, the service works.

From the book arriving 24/4 at their UK centre, it was in my hands, in Sydney, on 4/5.

I will mention the back-end software seems very basic. When they get the parcel you have to tell them what it's worth and upload your invoice. You do this, and the system still has a message, "need e-invoice". So you upload again... same response. And again... same response.

I contacted customer service but before they could reply a couple of days later, the parcel started moving in the system anyway.

I now have a second book at the Japan depot where it arrived there on May 2, and I've been trying ever since to get the system to accept my e-invoice. No luck.

You will see a reply telling me to contact customer service, below. Customer service is useless. I contacted them on May 9 - 4 days ago - and there's been no response. So it seems they make replies like that to seem proactive but, in reality, they are hopeless.

I'm tempted to make this one star, but the fact I have received 1 of 2 books shows that this weird, broken system CAN work, just don't expect it to work with any speed, or in any sort of coherent way.

Unprofessional and very Disappointing

UPDATE:
unfortunately, I have just been contacted by phone. The person who contacted me confirmed that they did not provide any document justifying the amount requested! It's really irresponsible on their part. I cannot pay an amount like that without being sure that they will ask me for even more before delivery.

I asked many times the "Customer Service Executive – Customs Clearance" In Morocco to let me know the detailed calculation of customs fees for a package arrived from France n°9556800120. Her asnwer was literally: “Go to customs on site to do the necessary "!
She wants me only to make a bank transfer to their bank account in the name of ARAMEX INTERNATIONAL MOROCCO without giving me an official document where the required amount should be detailed and justified.

They said that my item isn't acceptable, even though they sent the same item in the past and the item is not subjected to DOT shipping rules. And now i bought the same item from Amazon SA"not with shopnship" and they are shipping it now from the US, there is no consistency. And the support are just copy pasting human bots who are clueless when it comes to shipping logistics and didn't even answer my questions and kept dodging them. NOW THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR EACH AVAILABLE OPTION OTHER THAN DISCARD THE PACKAGE. In short words this company is a B2B but when comes to B2C they are the worst ever and have anti consumer tactics. I've should have believed all the reviews on the internet but am stupid.

The worst level of customer service and disgusting staff on their social media platforms

I need to express my utter dissatisfaction with the way my matter was dealt with by Shop& Ship.
I needed some medical items urgently for a sick patient in Dubai and the items were available in Singapore. I ordered it online and gave the Shop & Ship address of Singapore.
This process was done earlier several times and I never had any issue.
The items were delivered on the 11th if April but I never received any notification from sHop&Ship.
I checked with the company of the medical items and they told me the items were delivered urgently by their driver and sent me proof of delivery with the signature of the Aramex staff as well as the official stamp of Aramex logistics.
I contacted Shp&Ship and received some of the most unacceptable responses which no self-respecting person or company would ever give.
One of the replies by email was exactly worded as this “Even we cannot find your items!” whereas on twitter their staff were more intent on mocking me and kept on repeatedly asking me to show proof delivery in spite of the fact that I uploaded the document several times! Each time the staff typed the same message with a smirking sarcastic emoticon as if he was mocking me which is totally unacceptable and I will not remain silent on this!
Ultimately it was through my own earnest efforts by contacting the office in Singapore and reaching out to their VIP office manager that they did find the items and dispatched it by Aramex
Needless to say, the items arrived too late and the patient’s condition worsened due to this mess and I have a supporting medical report to testify this matter as well.
Not at any time did I feel I got any support from their team either by email or social media platforms and this warrants a legal complaint specially upon their staff who mocked me repeatedly by asking for proof of delivery even though the proof was sent.

I received my package from Netherlands to India but…

I received my package from Netherlands to India in almost 2 weeks. Which is not as bad as i expected but my item's weight was 1.8 KGs (including packaging) and Shop and Ship charged me for 3 KGs. This really increased the shipping cost by a big margin. And there's also no proper customer support number in India to contact them with ease.

They want your business, but don't want to take any responsilibyt

I had bought a couple of things from Amazon and was waiting for two packages to arrive, and called S&S to find out why it said they had been delivered to the shipment center (NY), but hadn't been registered to my account.
The customer service rep told me they had both been assigned to another customer - despite a printed address label from Amazon - and since one package had been delivered, they were "sorry there's nothing that can be done".
I paid $110 for that package on Amazon, S&S messed up, and they don't want to take responsibility for their actions?

This is the company you would deal with - no accountability, no responsibility.

This has rarely happened over the last 10 years that I was using them, but the past few years I've seen a steadily declining service unfortunately.

Find another company if you can, I know I will look for one.

Global Customer Support intervened and solved my issue!

I edited this review to change the rating from 1 Star to 4 stars, because of the intervention by Customer Support (Global).

I had an issue with S&S customer support (Local) who handled the customs very poorly, they asked me to pay an additional amount via local bank transfer to a bank account which may or may not have been Aramex's bank account in my country. There was a possibility of a phishing scam from an email that was sent from Aramex.com, they might have a bad employee who swindles money out of customers... Tomorrow I will go to an Aramex facility in my city to discuss this case further with them.

Less than 24 hours after I posted the 1 Star Review, Global Customer Support reached out, reviewed my case, and my parcel was delivered the next day!

All is good here, thank you Global Customer Support!

All the reviews are absolutely right

All the reviews are absolutely right. Go elsewhere. They have robots for customer service agents. They will make a mistake and then they will not accept it. They will want you to pay more money for a mistake that you did not do. And when you start challenging them with proof that it is in fact their fault, they will blatantly ignore you. And yes this is with their Global Customer Centre email address. They have no clue what is going on in their business. I have never had a more frustrating experience with any other company.

I mean look at their replies to review here, it's like a script they copy and paste to every review. They do not care!

Please do not bother asking me to email my issues to your globalcarecenter email because I have done it and now they have just stopped replying.

Amazon US order bungled by S&S

Ordered from Amazon US to deliver to local S&S centre. Due to circumstances Amazon order was broken up in several parcels and arrived in 4 batches at S&S centre. While providing the single invoice for the 4 parcels and sending a message on their platform requesting to ship as 1, S&S treated them as 4 seperate shipments and charged me accordingly, making the shipment at least AU$50 more expensive than it should’ve been, as each shipment has a base cost and an additional cost based on weight. The base cost is 4x more than it should’ve been. S&S never responded to my message, is not reachable by phone and only provides help desk level answers (and no way to talk to anybody with the authority to make financial decisions). Very poor customer service.
