Ordered 3 packets of goat milk from…

Ordered 3 packets of goat milk from Australia and had them delivered via Aramex' Shop and Ship. I was out with my daughter on the day the package was delivered and did not hear the miss call (there was only one at 11:41). At 15:00, I arrived home and found the items in the heat outside my door. It's August 20th and the temperature is 46 degrees. We also had our nanny at home in addition to my wife. All it would take is someone to ring the bell and the package will be taken.

After calling to complain, I was met with the attitude of the employee at the call center. I asked to speak with the supervisor (Majdaline) to hear that my items were not damaged, so what is the problem? By the way she also said that if the item is damaged they would refund. In other words, they only think they are finished once they refund you the money. Bringing the same item back takes 15 to 20 days. It is not even considered what my daughter will drink all this time. Your perishable items may be damaged, but the money is refunded, so what's the problem? This is the attitude.

Hidden Fees. No Support

Usually US to AUS has a FTA and no GST or Duty charged on invoices under $1000. What Aramex/S&S fail to tell you is they charge GST on all shipments. Unless you deiced to read through all their terms and services hidden half way through an essay youll find they charge this fee. In this day and age of technology it blows my mind that they cant have this displayed anywhere on their website other than hidden way.

Dont even bother trying to contact support. Emailed multiple times and havent had a response in two weeks.

Slow website. Broken links. If you try call aramex they will just tell you they have nothing to do with S&S.

Avoid this company. If you have something of worth and something happens youll have no way to contact anyone and youre most likely doomed.

Avoid at all costs

Absolutely abysmal experience with Shop and Ship! Initially, their website presented a seemingly reasonable 80 dirham shipping cost. To my dismay, they demanded an unexpected 250 dirhams extra, citing a 'maximum package value' clause in the FAQ, which felt very deceptive. Two weeks passed with no word, until they asked for the initial 80 dirhams. To add insult to injury, they hit me with an inexplicable 500 dirhams tax, allegedly mentioned in a hidden corner of their FAQ. Despite enduring a month of confusing back-and-forth and paying all the arbitrary fees, my package was delivered to an unselected location. The lack of clear directions made finding it a nightmare. Moreover, the absence of an online payment system forced me to visit Aramex in person multiple times, further adding to the inconvenience. It felt as if they were holding my package hostage, with threats of destruction if I didn't comply. Please, avoid this service. It's a labyrinth of hidden costs and poor service, seemingly designed to cheat customers out of their money.

UPDATE on the initial Post dated May, 2023

UPDATE: to my original post dd May, 2023. When i posted, somebody from S&S name Hala called me back and ensured me that my case will be investigated. I asked her to share her email so i could send all the details about what happened to my shipment, including pics, she gave me the wrong (!) email, to which i tried multiple times, i also tried various spellings. Nothing works. I still have my emails to her in "not delivered" status. No one ever reverted to me, neither via email nor phone call. No one ever explained what happened, and what are the further actions, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN S&S AT ALL. Message to those, who wrote positive comments about S&S - wait until you have a very minor problem with this company. I agree with people, who say here that S&S hire people with as less IQ as possible. I also can back up every word said by someone here "month of interaction with Shop&Ship demonstrates how deranged, basic, unprofessional, unsophisticated, mindless your employees and processes are".I have nothing more to add

Never had a problem with them

Never had a problem with them, I ship from their US and Australia addresses. Great job SnS team. Indonesian CS also very helpful, kudos to Ms. Sari.

Poor service, Website, Price

Poor service, their website is extremely buggy always 504 error and it takes ages to load. for some reason my FLEX S&S was disabled i had a lifetime plan. i have no clue what's going on with their website. will try to sort it out with them soon and get back my FLEX plan back.

They used to be good but now i'm little disappointed.

EDIT: about FLEX S&S protection disabled ( Its was a website bug i guess )

Damaged collectors items

I have been dealing with S&S for a long time. Over ten years. They started out really good, but the last 4 or 3 years (I think post COVID?) they started to go backwards. They literally open every package despite it being scanned in X-Ray or something. I don't mind them checking, but what do I mind is them not properly closing it and having there tape on my books which will tear the page later on. I asked for a refund and they refused. Of course, I spoke to with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and then they became good and refunded me.

Now I got a collectors playing cards by baseballers. These fools at their warehouse opened the package with a razor and damaged the box slightly. That is a big problem. They also opened the playing card itself! Imagine the idiotic behavior. They have ruined my cards and the box. What I paid is all for nothing now. I will complain to the Dubai Chambers of Commerce again.

My recommendation is not to deal with these people. The management might be having a good motto but surely they are not enforcing the good work ethics. One should understand that when someone uses you as a forwarder, it means he or she trusts you. Trust is a big word. It is not because we don't have options, no the options are there and I will mention them. But if trust is broken then the customer will complain. I, as an Arab, will talk to all majles I go to. Will write my review in every site possible and yes, even in Google Reviews. I will write it in the new paper article (I work there) and on online websites. This attitude to ruin collectors box is unacceptable. This shows the lack of respect to their clients who pays them for them to make a living.

You either get it sent directly to you or just use other services like Stackry, MyUS, Planet Express, Shipito,...etc. Just google them.

Worst customer service

I left a review on 07/06/2023 and I received a response advising me to contact globalcarecenter(at)aramex.com - I have sent 3 emails so far and I have heard nothing back. This is the worse customer service I have EVER experienced. My package has been sitting in Switzerland since 19/05/2023. I uploaded my invoice as soon as I received the request to do so and to date I have heard absolutely nothing. I don't understand what the hold up is. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Total failure

Total failure.

My shipment from the US has been blocked for a month since it's been classified a weapon (it's a kitchen knife), so your company refused to ship.
Unfortunately you guys are unable to hand the parcel to USPS so that the item goes back to the seller in the US, despite me paying for the extra-shipment costs.

This parcel is now lost somewhere, nobody knows where it is, and I want my full refund back. A month of interaction with Shop&Ship demonstrates how deranged, basic, unprofessional, unsophisticated, mindless your employees and processes are. More than 10 different people on the phone have no idea what's going on, more than 50 emails and nobody knows what's going on, 2 visits in person at Dubai's airport Aramex center and nobody has the slightest idea of what's going on.

It is a miracle you are in business. In a normal world you'd be all fired without the chance to find any job better than public street cleaners (which is much more honorable that the job you failed to perform).

SNS...Stupid people working in the customer…

Stupid people working in the customer service who have their head stuck in someone else's Ars and do not think and not capable of reasoning because the IQ is below ZERO. Lack of accountability and respecting customers. We lost it, it is customer problem. We broke it, it is customer mistake. We do not know what happened to the item, as SNS, we does not care, it is the customer problem.

8 days later and still not shipped

I have ordered for my small business from a Canada supplier. I am supposed to receive the package between 3 to 6 working days. After 8 days, the package still hasn't moved from their facility, still hasn't been shipped.... I call on a daily basis to mention this is urgent and all I am being told is "we share with the team so they make it urgent". I have no clue when this is going to get shipped nor when I will receive it and this is badly affecting my business as customers are waiting.... I do not recommend nor will I renew the experience.

Assuming the package price and taking more money

They have assumed a price for my package without asking me and took more money for the shipment and the customs plus the Vat

When I have contacted them they said they can't change the price which they have just assumed .. they have pushed me to pay more money than what I have to pay ..

Wanna loose your package?

They are placing shipments under wrong accouns most of the time their moto should be "bermuda triangle has nothing on us"

And I did contact the GlobalCareCenter email as they have mentioned below yet I see no interference from their side or what so ever.

They gave my package to someone else and they did not compensate me.

I've been following up with them since the 1st of June and it's almost August and im still waiting.

No help no customer service hidden cost bad service

I read the other reviews, mine is exactly the same no communication no answers different hidden cost and global and local shop&ship doesn’t reply, the replies are the same please sent a email so the issue can be resolved . But it never happens. Somehow this great service is now zero service!

A very very very bad company with a…

A very very very bad company with a very bad customer support, none of the information or the team is helpful im reporting this and raising a legal complaint what i keep receiving is back and forth emails im reporting this last : [CaseReference:AUH/0523/11788] and ending my member ship with this horrible company!!! Even with the reply back Useless yet very bad customer support im sharing this story out with all online platforms yet raising a legal issue as this has to stop, i will make sure not to let this happen to other people.

Horrible Company

Update: based on reply from the global team, I sent an email to them. They're worse than the local team. Wasted my time thinking they're any good. Guess it's a company culture not to help, to be useless and to use false marketing and communication.

I have had a shop and ship account since 2013
I started in Dubai then moved to India
Recently I moved back to Dubai and wanted to change the address back to Dubai
I couldn't edit it on the site itself, tried contacting S&S through email, on their website, instagram and facebook
They do not have any contact number
Do not respond, even though I told them I have an expensive shipment that was sent to my address in UK.
It was a free lifetime account. They deactivated it, my money and items are lost
and now they are asking me to sign up to the premium membership

Complete lack of ethics, customer service or anything
Horrible horrible people

If I could I would have put 0 stars from the horrible service I’ve received trying to use them as delivery and their delivery partner shop & ship US. Even trying to contact them through their website is a broken link!

Aramex Order Number 9458021322 - Import Charges | Case 13840921

This issue has been going on for too long since March when the order was placed from the US using Shop & Ship. First I was told that a box of chocolates was prohibited for shipping to the UK, and after countless emails to Lubna and Maryam at the office with no resolve of the issue. Forced to returned the package to supplier I was sent countless broken links for payments of the charges which has been reported to them by email and to both offices and also no resolution of the problem, contacting the London office with Arran Kakar who just kept forwarding the emails to maryam and lubna for it to be ignored from their side and never replied to. Sent emails to them and again to reply and the issue has just been ignored even though the problem was from their side. The package is worth over $200 and all they can send is package will be disposed in 30 days even though the return was issued but unsuccessful due to their lack of customer support!
What kind of service is this?!

Bad experience

I placed an order from Japan and I mentioned my shop&ship account number but the personal shopper didn’t mention my account number, so I called shop and ship to inform them about the issue they told me it will take 10 days for the package to enter the system and when that happens they can help me with it and sign it to my account, I kept on calling them to make sure they don’t assign it to different account and when it’s finally on there system I called to ask about it they told me it’s assigned to my account but I had to call the second day to confirm it and then the surprise is it’s assigned to someone with the same name and family name too.

And then I requested from to fix the problem they said they will and few days after that they said the package is out for delivery but guess what they didn’t change the account and send it to the wrong account address so I called again they told me you refused the order and here they confirmed that’s it’s not me who they called it’s the wrong customer. I sent an e-mail telling them my problem and I attached the invoice in it and explained everything but no response until I called again and complained and went into an argument with them then the second day I received an e-mail from them asking for a proof.

Which means they didn’t even saw my e-mail and when I asked for their manager to call me it took them few days to call me and they called in the early morning so they can get with it. I requested them to call me again but no one did.
