Usless S&S

This company is completely fraudulent, constantly altering their regulations. My package was stuck in the UK for more than a month because they were unable to ship it to my country, even though the same items were permitted to be shipped in February. After six years with their ineffective "Flex Membership," I am closing my account and avoiding their poor service. I advise everyone to protect their money and avoid dealing with them.

All packages have gone missing at origin in USA

Worst company do not use. All your packages will go missing. SCAM. When you try to speak to customer service they give you generic copy paste answer and kept repeating them selves. AVOID, I have lost hundreds of dollars because of these thieves.

Hidden Fees

be careful using their website when they quote potentially cheaper rates using flex membership. What they don't tell you up front is the 'handling fee' of 13% on top of whatever shipping fees they quoted. This is what happened to me. Never again using their service. I'm just leaving my flex membership anyway

Aramex shop and ship lost my package…

Aramex shop and ship lost my package and in total had 175 euros loss because they did not accept to pay me in full for package being stolen by Aramex employees either at origin or during transportation or locally.

even if selecting guarantee shipping for 250 euros disclosed amount they failed to reimburse me in full. The back and forth emails lasted for about 3 months until they insisted to cover only 100 euros (also lost money on transportation cost 25)

HAD TO DEREGISTER FOR THIS BAD EXPERIENCE EVEN I WAS A CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS

DISGRACEFUL

I have been a customer for years but recently they changed my address without informing me. When i finally figured that out and used the address,the last three shipments were all lost. I had to basically track them myself to get them to be shipped to me after months of delivery. The customer service is non existent and when you find someone they are USELESS. This last shipment arrived at their offices two weeks and they cant find it still. Whats worse i am getting vague emails that contain alot of words but make no sense at all. They are asking to provide proofs the even Colombo woulndt be able to find. I dont know what to do, but this is the last time i use their services. Such a shame.

20 plus years customer with hudnreds of shipments

Source : I'VE been a customer of Aramex S&S for 20 years.
they started brilliantly, recently the company is al about profit and service went to the gutters.
most of the shipments will be delivered - but delayed- they won't commit to a delivery time span,
when - When not if - they lose a shipment of yours,
it is impossible for them to act accountable.
they follow strategies of distraction and time wasting that they will literally through everything at you all at once even if they contradict themselves like :
- We never received the shipment please proved proof of delivery
- address is not correct
- we received the shipment, but it was assigned to a wrong customer, and you never claimed it within 7 days
-shipment was put on hold then destroyed!
- shipment was returned to sender and lost in the post
- claim invalid (for no reason)
- delivery was rejected by you!
in addition :
rates are inexplainable, annoying messaging bots, customer service trained to drive you in loops and despite being polite have ZERO authority to solve any issues.
My advice, try emirates ships or MYUS - anything will be better than Aramex S&S

It’s literally a scam

It’s literally a scam! My package via DHL got delivered to their address and they are acting like they didn’t receive it, customer support is slow, no way to reach them by phone…
When you open a claim, they literally close the case without any feedback; how is this legal and authorized worldwide and in the UAE?

Possible fraud, hidden fees, bad customer service, does not encrypt your address/name/tracking number/etc in communication

I tried them and thought I would like them, but unfortunately, here is what happened:

1. False advertising: Upon registration, their app explicitly says that with a FLEX subscription, the S&S Protect service fee is waived. No additional notes or asterisks whatsoever that say something like “but not in all countries” or “depending on the value of the package” or “terms and conditions apply”. I had to discover this when I got charged for S&S Protect after I ordered even as a FLEX subscriber.

2. Hidden fees: They will also charge you a customs clearance fee, and won’t tell you in advance how much it is or even mention that there will be one. Or at least, they don’t do so in any advertising (I’m tired of reading their Terms and Conditions by now but feel free to check by yourself to see if this is fraudulent or just hidden). Let me be clear: This is not what they paid on my behalf to customs (import tax): I did pay that too — this is their own fee for providing the services of customs clearance on top of the import tax.

3. Shipment delayed: I received the shipment later than their estimated delivery date by a few days. Also, they took quite a few days from receiving the shipment in the origin country until they updated the app to reflect that I have a package now. Not a big deal for me, but nobody at the company apologized or seemed to care or provide a full explanation.

4. Receipt doesn’t match what I actually paid: OK, this one has to be fraud, but to be fair, they are still sorting it out right now and therefore I will update this review accordingly with the result after I get their response. So, upon receiving the package, I paid the full amount in cash, stepped inside the house, and checked my phone to be surprised that the app and my email both say that I haven’t paid what I actually paid and that I still owed them money! I had to call the delivery champion (that’s what he calls himself) and Aramex a few times and they all are saying this is just a matter of time until the app reflects the true amount, and that I don’t have to worry about it and that I will receive a receipt with the remaining amount I paid by tomorrow, so let’s see.

UPDATE: The app now says everything is paid, but no new receipt was sent, and the old receipt link still reflects the old amount. Which means that when they go to the government to file their taxes, they possibly pay way less than they should, who knows.

5. Bad customer service: When you do call them because the online chatbot is useless, you get a massage encouraging you to use the chatbot. In any case, I was shocked that even when talking to a human, it still felt like talking to the bot. For example, when saying: “I paid the full amount of [such and such] in cash upon delivery”, they would still ask me: “did you pay [another amount] in cash or credit card?” and I had to repeat my original statement. This was a theme when dealing with them: I think they understand what my problem is, then all of a sudden they would ask a very basic question like that. One more example, I had to repeat the statement: “The app still shows that I owe you money”. Moreover, even when saying that there is a bug in their software, and that they are working on my problem, they still didn’t apologize. Now I would rather they fix the issue than apologize and do nothing, but so far they haven’t done anything either, so let’s see what happens.

6. They don’t secure your information: They send you sensitive information about you and your package without encryption. As an IT guy, I know that encryption costs nothing (you just choose to turn it on or off) so the fact that they don’t use it is very concerning.

Scammers - AVOID!!!!

My parcel was delivered there over a week ago and I have tried emailing, submitting a claim through their website, contacting them via instagram and also facebook messenger and they just close/ignore all my messages and have not responded to what has happened to my package. They are just scammers who will steal your package, and you will never be able to get in contact with them. Their facebook messenger seems to be attended by a completely useless AI chatbot that will drive you insane trying to get a response out of them. And their website portal is just as frustrating, you can't see any kind of response to any of your requests, just that they have been closed. So beware, and I would suggest to avoid this company if you don't want your time and money wasted.

can i give less than one star

can i give less than one star? please don't bother. Horrible horrible service. They will take up all of your time, over charge you on items when the mistake is on their end (and there will be many as their system isn't set up properly) and you'll have random people calling you attempting to solve the issue supposedly, but no one communicates with each other, each has their own way of doing things, and you have to repeat yourself and resubmit everything over and over and over again. Cut your losses and move on to another company. This is some of the worse customer service you'll encounter in the Gulf.

21 day hold - no explanation, no contact

i got an email saying my package is being held for 21 days, to contact my local office. the status online in my account says 'need packing' but no other info...lodged so many requests to get this sorted, nothing. called my local Aramex, they have no idea what I'm talking about and keep asking for a tracking number *facepalm* its like Aramex New Zealand has never heard of shop and ship before. what in the actual f??

Avoid at all cost, pay the extra and use MYUS reshipper instead

Removing all emotion from my experience, this has been the situation.

23/5/24: Ordered a jacket valued at $1000 from Coach Canada and used Shop&Ship forwarding service to ship to my business in Perth, Western Australia.

29/5/24: Order arrives at Shop&Ship Aramex faciltiy.

4/6/24: Package (Order) leave Canada for Sydney

5/6/24: All postage and fee costs paid to Shop&Ship

16/6/24: Package arrives in Sydney

27/6/24: Package leaves Sydney to Perth

27/6/24: Shop&Ship notification in my profile claims that package had an attempted delivery. Originally, the attempted delivery stated that it tried to be delivered at 9:05pm.

28/6/24: Shop&Ship notification in profile then updates the attempted delivery time from the previous day to 3:05pm (I have CCTV footage showing business was open)

8/7/24: After no movement of the package, i phoned Aramex and was told they would monitor package and escalate. From there, everyday up until today 15/7/24 i phoned Aramex in an attempt to locate my package. Was told on more than 5 occassions that the emails were sent to the Perth warehouse for location however they went unanswered. Their staff told me they have no direct line of communication with the Perth warehouse, no phone number exists and everything is via email. I finally managed to speak to someone in a call centre in Australia who tried their best to assist me in locating the package. During this whole process, i was not contacted by S&S nor Aramex other than a reply to a ticket being opened because of the staff at the AUS call centre.

15/7/24: In the AM, i phoned QLD call centre again and was dismissed by a rude staff member who said this is not their problem and Aramex is not affiliated with S&S in any way. This is incorrect as, Aramaex owns S&S. I asked to speak with Lynn who was the only point of contact thus far who sympathised with my situation and helped me as much as she could. She stated that the package has been considered lost as it cannot be located. I contacted S&S via facebook in attempt to get some resolution. At 1:47pm AWST i received a reply from S&S on Facebook stating they tried to call me but the line was busy. This is incorrect as i had no had received any phone calls, nor was i on the phone in the 3 hour prior to receiving this message. I replied stating these facts and the staff admitted to lying to me about the attempted phone call.

Its 8:14PM AWST and i still have no received any contact from any S&S or Aramex staff. I have no received any compensation nor my package. I have lost alot of money and even more time.

My opinion: The item that has more than likely been stolen by staff (Packaging showed the brand and was in possession by Aramex employees before it was "lost". The item limited edition item and is completely sold out so i have no way of acquiring the item again.

Shop&ship stole my package in france

I sent the package to France; it arrived on May 29. I have proof of the delivery, but until this moment, my package isn't in my account.

I've sent several emails and Facebook messages, but they haven't done anything. They just make excuses. I asked about a refund and they told me to wait until they find it.

Then they start the same thing again, asking for the tracking code and proof of delivery, just to buy time. Worst company, terrible employees.

Disappointing UAE service

I live in UAE and twice so far I've lost my shipments with them in USA NY address, 1st time they said they've received an empty package, 2nd time they said my shipment was delivered and I got NOTHING!!!
The worst is their way of trying so hard to make it the customer's fault so they'd just close the case not interested in actually investigating. Extremely disappointing!
