Shopblocks are professional and easy to work with. Had some bad experiences before moving our website over to Shopblocks and the transfer and management of the website was taken care of seamlessly.

We switched to Shopblocks as we have little web design expertise in house and the cost of continually outsourcing major updates were spiralling. Jake and the team built our new site in no time, taking all of the data across from our old site for us and were more than happy to amend it multiple times to get it just right for us.

Since the site went live we have updated it ourselves on multiple occasions. It couldn't be more simple once the basic training is done.

I'd highly recommend using Shopblocks, the price and service are second to none.

Made the move from Squarespace and love my new site. I’m enjoying building and designing myself. Started out with a clear plan, and it didn’t take too long to work out how to manipulate things the way I wanted. I’m really pleased and feedback has been great from customers. Super helpful and friendly team. Would definitely recommend!

Edit 27/11/19: Shopblocks got in contact with us and have now fully refunded our monies and have offered to work on a solution for us.

Original review: As with many others, we were cold called and told how much better Shopblocks were than EKM and how they (Shopblocks) were stealing lots of EKM customers. We were told that the design feature was really easy to use and that for an additional fee, they would even fully design our site and transfer all products and data and that it would take about a week and they could do any design we wanted and bragged about how their designers could copy any existing site out there. We were told that if we weren't happy with the design of service, that we could go our separate ways without question and receive all monies paid back in full, so there was no risk for us.

Great ok we thought, let's give it a go. Paid their design fees (as we don't have time to do it ourselves due to our retail business) and we explained in detail what we wanted. First draft was a joke. It looked like a webpage from the mid 90s! Again we explained and gave a list of example sites to copy and we could then tweak. So second draft, looked nothing like what we asked for, but more like a stripped version of our existing site! When telling them that the stock images they used were not correct for our business, we were told that if we wanted to find stock images ourselves and buy them ourselves then fine but they only used a little known free provider! I mean seriously, what sort of web design setup doesn't have accounts with the major stock images providers! Basically after so many weeks of them clearly not listening or being able to design something which was pretty simple, we had had enough. As well as that, they were charging us a monthly subscription for the use of their platform..... Yes, the platform we weren't using as they couldn't design properly! So they saw fit to charge for a service we weren't and couldn't use.

Let's get one thing clear, they boast how easy their platform is to use..... Having personally worked in web design and build etc since 2002, I can honestly say that their platform is not simple to use, and stupidly over complicated.

We expect every penny back that we have paid both for the whole design service (this was promised would be the case if we weren't happy) and every monthly payment that was taken by Shopblocks. So far we have received nothing in terms of refunds! And are either being ignored or fobbed off.

If you are thinking of trying these jokers, think again and go elsewhere. EKM have served us well for years with proper customer service, quick tech support and will continue to.

An absolutely fantastic company, easy to work with, professional, efficient, helpful the words go on. Cannot thank them enough with the help and support I have had starting my own business.

Moved my website over from Wordpress. Zero hassle and the new website is miles easier to manage and a ton faster as well.

After running with a website set up on another platform for the last two years I took the step to move over to Shopblocks after being contacted by them. They took the old website and improved it radically. I´m now working with them to continue improving the site and aspects of the SEO. I´m also planning a new site which I will definitely do with Shopblocks. Great service & support!

Really dreadful switch from Shopify - poached by cold call. Transfer was terrible. Promises they were a UK Shopify was not to any degree met. Answered calls but many problems went into development for weeks and were often unresolved.
We lasted a month and tried hard to make it work. Left with severe losses and asked politely for compensation. Received none. Their defence is that I am the only one its happened to! So good luck to the rest who fall for it as I think you will need it.

I'm a mature person starting out with a business adventure off selling homemade goods im no good with computer's or anything like that but they took my idea and made it reality they keep me up to date with everything so i knew what was happening now I have a website and ongoing support xx

Hi, shopblocks contact with me in march of this year and offer their services, after explain me everything I make decision to be their customer, in few months time together we build my new web side and set up my store as Im also physical store for a retail and trade customers, we connect our data base, configure my equipment etc, Was a great help from Shopblocks team, who always helping me even with small issues resolve them quickly, any time I ring to help line I know that doesn't matter who pick up the phone I receive help on highest standards

Completely different website to the one I had before. Unexperienced in how I use it, but have received excellent help on how to navigate it. Nothing is too much trouble.

I moved to Shopblocks as I had many issues with my previous platform. The onboarding process was personal yet proffesional. I had quite a few products to move over, with a lot of variants and options, but the team moved them over smoothly. My website is now modern and functionable. Would definatly recommend !

Cold called me because they wanted me to move from my current provider, spoke to someone called Joanna I think had no idea about my current provider and told me I didn't have an SSL. I do thanks maybe open your eyes? I get it free. It's not the first time I've been cold called to be honest hence the review. Also told me they have stolen loads of customers from the company I'm with why are you cold calling me then? 😂

Moved my 4 online shops to Shopblocks from Volusion a couple of months ago and been very impressed. The software is great and there's no hidden costs.

This platform is way better than what we were using (wix). It's also a bit cheaper, but the support and resdesign of the site has really improved sales.

It's dead easy to add new products, and despite using a different payment processor oringinally, which was fully supported. We were able to switch seamlessly switch to a lower cost provider.

As a small UK based business, the GDPR solution is worth it's weight in gold!

I'm really happy with the service. Our bottom line has gone up. So most certainly a successful move.
