Change to broadband faultless
The changeover to broadband phone took just a couple of hours, and then everything worked well. The open reach engineers were friendly, and even left name and number if we had any problems.

The new digital lines are significantly more complex than the old copper-based ones, involving numerous steps to get the line operational and registered. When you add a port request to transfer your line from your previous provider, it increases the potential for issues.
We’ve reviewed your order history and identified a VoIP build problem on one of our switches associated with your Temporary telephone number. We discovered and corrected this issue. Following that, the only remaining task was for your previous provider to transfer your telephone number to us. However, it appears that the porting process wasn’t fully completed, despite receiving confirmation from the previous provider that it was.
We resolved this and had to perform a remote reprovisioning on the ATA to update its settings. We apologise for the multiple attempts required, as it kept missing the appropriate window to check the ATA.
We’re glad to hear that everything is now online and working smoothly.
