Excellent service and very knowledgeable.

Very good company. They have processed out EU VAT returns for IOSS for the last year now and we haven't had any problems. Ulla our client manager is always really fast to respond to any queries and is great to work with. I would definitely recommend Simply VAT.

We use SimplyVAT for our EU VAT obligations and have been with for them around 18 months. Unfortunately we have been left with no choice but to submit a detailed review as a result of the terrible we have received recently.

In the last 6 months we've had 3 different AMs, one of which couldn't file a quarterly return correctly, this left us scrambling to ensure it was submitted on time.
Our original AM was brilliant but since she left, our account has been passed around various reps that have little care for our business. Most of the time our emails go unanswered for weeks, leaving us in the dark and having to chase.

Either the AMs have too many clients to give us enough time or they are simply not qualified enough to handle our obligations.

We have since decided exit the EU market and notified SimplyVAT of our 2 month notice. Since then, they are trying to charge over £500 for various de-registration fees. As well as the ongoing charges for OSS and quarterly returns.

Since giving our notice, our emails have been ignored and we missed another deadline for a return. Our AM failed to share the relevant a reference number so that we could make payment to the relevant EU authority.

Companies like SimplyVAT are supposed to take the headaches away from business owners but this has turned into a nightmare.

This company has gone down hill, you should avoid at all costs. Find a company that actually takes care of their clients.

It was a promising start, and everything was acceptable as long as we needed the service. But try to close your account with them... Oh my!!!

We have asked to be deregistered as we reviewed the company structure and do not need their services anymore.

They are dragging this along for half a year, keep sending invoices for a service we are not using and came up with some lame excuses (when they actually reply).

Already been over 3 months of hell trying to deregister from this lame service!

Stay away from them if you plan any structural changes or if you don't plan to stay with them for a lifetime!

Amazing experience! This is a game changer for those in the E-commerce space etc. They quickly understand your needs and finds the best approach.

I have been in contact with one of SimplyVAT's onboarding administrator since the start of October and throughout the duration of our correspondence, he has shown me his utmost best.

The onboarding process was very smooth thanks to his wealth of knowledge — and the level of professionalism and courtesy I received was equally as impressive. He would always reply to me in a timely manner and notify me if any steps of the process (i.e. OSS registration) would take more time than usual. I would be provided an estimated time of completion each step of the way as well, which was more-or-less accurate each time.

Out VAT filings have run smoothly since we started with Simply VAT. It is especially beneficial to have your own client manager who takes care of all your filings - personal and efficient service!

Got more than 5 penalties / fines by the HMRS due to late Vat return filling by this company, and i have been promised that they will pay all those penalties as it clearly was their fault, but they have never done it!

Furthermore, until today, I have yet received our statement of account document from the HMRC, with some excuses that they requested our balance from the HMRC and yet received any reply from them.
I have been waiting for it more than two years now!

I'm sure that our account have depth outstanding for a long time now do to their unprofessional service!

Furthermore, I have yet received the update of our company address confirmation with the required accounts statement, and i have been waiting for it more than two years as well, and just keep getting excuses as always!

I have also asked few times to provide all the necessary details and confirmations needed in order to transfer our account to our new Tax agent, but they simply stopped replying to emails, and even at this stage do not cooperating to help solving all of our account issues!

At this point, we explained that we will let our lawyer handle it directly, and make sure that SimplyVat will bear any of the penalties applied to our account due to the late submissions to the HMRC,
And any other negative consequences that will arise due to the unprofessional way treated by SimplyVat so far!
