The world of EU VAT registration is fraught with complexity and unseen hurdles. SimplyVAT navigated all of this for us efficiently and effectively, indluding extracting refunds!

I had a very good experience with SimplyVAT, all the replies I received were precise, thorough and complete. Michaela (my person of reference) was always very kind and patient in providing feedbacks and doing further evaluations when asked...I can totally recommend them to anyone who wants to open a VAT account in UK or do business there.

SimplyVAT has been great at helping us become 'current' in our VAT situations, which involve a name/entity change, backdated returns, and an audit. We had some communications issues with our first rep, but when we brought them up, we were re-assigned to a new rep, who immediately went into action. Definitely recommend them!

After nearly 2 years of nonsense, Simply VAT did not produce a VAT registration for my e-comm business. There service is horrendous. This is simply a scam. Avoid this company at all costs.

Customer service has been really good and questions always answered in a timely manner with full explanation.
Once the WooCommerce API is complete it will be a great benefit to us as no more manual data gathering.

AVOID!!!
Good: They were the only ones that could figure out brexit at first, and it was amazing, but then...

Bad: They bill you fill price for NIL filings, which should be discounted as they are charged less.

Ugly: Once you find another importer of record or filing company and attempt to cancel your terms with them, they IGNORE YOU FOR MONTHS ...while still billing you full price for filings you haven't given them data for.

Ignored. Totally.
For MONTHS.

When they want your money for doing NO WORK AT ALL they're very responsive. But when you try to leave... TERRIBLE.
(I am still being billed for no work as I type this.)

Worked with SimplyVat for about 2 years for their IOSS service (I've since stopped marketing to EU so am no longer a client currently). Honestly, flawless service. I never had to worry about their submissions because they were always on the ball. Answered questions quickly and picked on things that I missed. My client manager was Ulla and she provided an excellent service.

Good assistance during the onboarding process to make sure everything is working smoothly and both client and agent understand their responsibilities. Once everything was set up it has been smooth sailing each month for IOSS VAT returns.

Good on timely service and right advice for customers

This is company where the name of the company is very sarcastic, working with them is everything but simply.

In the last 6 months we've had 2 different AMs, one of which couldn't file a quarterly return correctly, and things escalated to her teamleader who then left us hanging in the dark, with no response. Thanks Stanislava.

Our original AM Valeria was polite and responsive, but since she left, our account has been neglected to the point we might get a fine from the HMRC.

Our emails are unanswered for months, leaving us in the dark and having to chase, but their invoices and payment reminders keep coming frequently.

There are so many other companies that jave the same service as they, keep aeay from this one.

We are a consumer brand in the USA looking to expand into the UK and I found Michaela's responsiveness, knowledge, and follow up to be excellent. I highly recommend to others.
