WORST EXPERIENCE. SCAM CLINIC
I went to the clinic for egg freezing. The doctor told me that she feels sorry and I may have 1 or 0 eggs. I started crying and I was so sad when she announced me this and I was asking for natural way to conceive because she did not give me any hope for eggs freezing. I said to the doctor I don't want to do the process since I don't wanna risk it and it is very expensive only for one egg or none egg. Doctor told me up to you and left the room. After few minutes she brought me another doctor. The other doctor suddenly from 0-1 got 3-5 eggs and she told me to have a plan. I told them if i get 3-5 eggs yes otherwise I don't wanna do it. I asked for natural ways. We continued the process and at the end i got 0 eggs as the first doctor told me. When I was complaining about it the doctor told me you have signed and did not stop the process if you wanted. I told them that i trusted you that's why i signed but I was clear that if no results will come, I do not want to do it. In other words the made me sign and telling me we get eggs just for money! NEVER HAD WORST EXPERIENCE. I had a meeting with the doctor and she was literally smiling with my pain. I was telling her i was told 0-1 egg i will receive and she was continuing telling me that you have signed a document. I said I do not want to continue the process and they made me change my mind by giving me fake hope. TERRIBLE. I am going to report the doctor and the clinic to relevant department. They refuse to refund me, which was obvious because the did it all for money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC!
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
VERY POOR COMMUNICATION,UNHELPFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
So bad from start to finish
So bad from start to finish. Only care about taking your money, made a litany of errors with my care and literally didn't care.
Ignored my my job application and cover…
Ignored my my job application and cover letter for a lab technician position that was posted on UCD campus and applied for on 19-Oct-23.
They then disingenuously got my review removed from Trustpilot. I have full digital proof so I will contest if they attempt to get my review removed again
Very poor professional behaviour. I wouldn't have really cared had I not logged in and seen they lobbied to remove my review.
Update: You posted the job on a noticeboard in the UCD health science building with instructions to email a certain Mr. Roman with a CV and Cover letter.

Horrible 1st Appt. experience due to ''Weird Child Policy''
My appointment with the Consultant was good, with no issues.
I attended the appointment along with my wife and 10 Years son. At reception, they mentioned my son could not go; I said that was fine and he would wait at reception. as he is 10y does not need supervision, just need to sit (A few chairs in front of the reception staff).
Reception called a senior staff member who was rude and lacked understanding. She dismissed my concerns and showed no empathy for our situation, which was particularly distressing given the circumstances.
As a Consultant Doctor, I am well-versed in hospital dynamics. I have noticed that a standard line is included for children in every hospital appointment letter, and the hospital staff usually accommodates the situation. They understand that leaving a child behind is not always feasible. I have previously visited Rotunda (Dublin), Waterstone (Cork), and a few other hospitals, and I was accommodated every time. However, this experience was distressing as the staff seemed to understand little. My son had to wait outside and was visibly distressed after the appointment, which is unacceptable and should not have been the case.
While I understand that Sims is a private hospital and has the authority to set its own policies, I believe that the management should consider arranging some refresher courses for the staff. This would help them to deal with patients more respectfully and better understand their situations. Such behaviour is unacceptable, especially from a compassionate and private clientage perspective.

Sims want money not results
After three miscarriages, we decided to investigate privately into what was happening. We made an appointment with SIMS Clonskeagh. We both had tests done, I queried if mine should be done on Day 3 of my cycle and was told that I was incorrect. My husband had two tests done and all was fine with all of our results. I later found out that my tests should have been done on Day 3 of my cycle and because of this, my new doctor found useful information to help get us on the road to a healthy baby.
We never met with a SIMS doctor in person, it had to be all online. Dr. Alex Aldepe was our doctor and insisted we engage with PGTA at a cost, he estimated at €10,000. He estimated the cost and would never give us a definitive answer. We would happily pay it, if we knew that would help us, but I knew in my gut it wouldn’t. All of my miscarriages happened at between 8-10 weeks. Heartbeats were detected on scans as well hence why I always thought that there was an issue with supply of some kind. We could get pregnant but the fetus couldn’t get what it needed to survive.
Before embarking on PGTA, we requested another meeting with the doctor as we were reluctant to hand over money and still be in the dark about the procedures. We did have a lot of questions and we both got the impression that this annoyed the doctor to the point where he stated quite abruptly, “We can assume that it’s your fault and your eggs aren’t of good quality”. That broke me.
We couldn’t engage with SIMS after that. We went on to another clinic called Neo Fertility. They discovered that I had a blood clotting issue and now I am holding my 3 month old baby in my arms thankfully.
I have been in touch with other women who have paid this astronomical fee to SIMS with no results and whilst it’s not about that money, sub-fertility is stressful enough without adding money worries on top of that.
Please engage with many clinics before making a decision out of desperation like we almost did.

Last year we started do IVF we got miscarriage we not recieved any support of Sims this year we when for second embrion and we see how bad patient treatment is compare with Rotunda. Nurses are brilliant but doctors zero respect for patient/client they make a date and time for appointment and then she late more that half an hour no escuses or appolage. Recommend to buy medication in one pharmacy and they not even sure that you will be need them. This amount of money what we pay to them to get a baby doctors should treat patien totaly diffrent way
My experience at Sims IVF Swords was great
My experience at Sims IVF Swords was brilliant from start to finish. As an oncology patient, I walked into the Sims clinic with a lot of uncertainty but every person I came into contact with was so lovely, supportive and understanding. At every stage of the process, all questions were answered and I felt reassured. The process was very successful and there are now more fertility options when I’m finished treatment which I’m very grateful for. Thank you to everyone.
Caring staff
All staff were caring and compassionate and I felt listened to and supported there.

Not impressed
I’m going to be honest, my initial experience with Sims IVF has been very disappointing so far. It is the first time we are doing this type of fertility treatment which is stressful and overwhelming.
We were previously with another clinic (Waterstone) for another type of fertility treatment and Sims doesn’t compare when it comes to customer care.
Waterstone went through drug administration with me and were very caring through every stage.
Sims on the other hand don’t do this and aren’t very comprehensive with their instructions and guidance.
They said the pharmacy should go through drug demonstrations but we didn’t choose their “recommended” pharmacies because we don’t live anywhere near them & the drugs need to be refrigerated.
When I voiced my disappointment at their lack of guidance and support, instead of taking on feedback, they then pointed the finger at me, saying it’s my fault I didn’t go to their pharmacy of choice.
We are so early in the process, I’m thinking of cancelling it all together. The experience is stressful enough.

Would NEVER recommend sims…
I absolutely would never recommend sims ivf. They are only concerned with money and getting as many rounds as possible out of every couple. We spent over 23k with them and then went abroad after 4 frozen transfers with sims. The clinic abroad found severe inflammation in my womb that sims had missed. Had we gone abroad sooner or in the first place, it would have saved a lot of tears money and hardship. They haven't a clue what they are at when it comes to anyone with any kind of inflammation or autoimmune issues. Don't go near them.

I wouldn't recommend these moneygrabber to anyone
My experience with this clinic was terrible.
Because of their poor and unprofessional practice, our chances to become parents got ruined.
If we had been mentally strong enough we would have denounced them.
Not even a star I would give them.

My husband and I had a very positive experience at Sims. From our very first appointment we felt supported and our concerns and questions listened to with an understanding and sympathetic ear by Dr. Alejandro and all of the team at Sims, especially one of the nurses, Therese.
The app makes communication seamless and allows you to view all of your appointments and medication in a very easy manner.
I got pregnant on our second round of IVF and now we have our beautiful little boy as a result of our treatment at Sims.
I highly recommend Sims as an extremely positive and supportive IVF clinic.

We will never forget what you have done for us
What can I say. Thank you does not seem enough.
We had been with a different doctor for 3 rounds of ivf before we moved to Dr. Alex. The second we met Dr. Alex we knew he was different. He got straight to the source of our issue and showed genuine care towards us. He wanted the process to end in a baby as much as we did. He talked us through the whole process and his genuine expectations - all while be honest but in a caring way. His knowledge is exceptional.
Dr. Alex was there through the whole process and I genuinely cannot thank him enough. His belief it could happen for us made me believe it could happen.. and it did. We are currently 12 weeks pregnant with not just 1, but 2 miracle babies (1 embryo).
We cannot thank you enough Dr. ALEX and will never forget what you done for us.

We are delighted to say we are 7 weeks pregnant. We had our 7 week scan today in the clinic and as sad it was to say goodbye we are delighted to have had a successful time. We will 100% be back in the future for baby no.2 . I couldn't thank the staff enough for everything they done for us an absolute miracle 🙌 thank you. Jess & Julie

I would avoid this clinic
I've been a patient of the Swords clinic for sometime. At the beginning thing were going really well. Since my SIS in April 22 just before I was yo fo my first IUI another doctor was asigned to me and my treatment plan fell apart. I've yet to start any treatment. I've brought the medication thay asked me too and now the medication has passed it expiry date(medication is not cheap)
Don't get me wrong my original doctor was great but trying to get the clinic manger to return a call is a nightmare.
I'm so disappointed in my experience with this clinic I've been waiting over two years to start a treatment.
They made my journey of becoming a mother so painful and so stressful that I really don't trust doctors.
I'm sorry that I'm so emotionally about this just bring an honest opinion.
